20/05/2026: Beautiful view of the pond. Delicious cranquette soup (local crabs), a lovely tasting platter of four Mediterranean fish, and an original dessert, a sort of fig-filled choux pastry. Local wines. Quality, well-prepared local products.

16/05/2026: While passing through the area, we stumbled upon this gem! The meat was delicious, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive! A real treat; we had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our meal! In short, I highly recommend it! A special mention to "little guy," who I hope will recognize himself!

07/05/2026: Warm welcome! The service was quick, and the food was good and plentiful. I had a chicken escalope au gratin with goat cheese—it was absolutely delicious! I didn't even have time to take a picture because it made me so hungry. For dessert, I had chocolate profiteroles. I recommend it. Good value for money.

23/05/2026: Very bad experience. While waiting for our reserved table, I ordered two Ricards at the bar on the patio to pass the time. The waiter there charged me €16 for the two Ricards. When I expressed my surprise at this exorbitant price, he told me that the drink prices were displayed on a poster. I hadn't noticed, but I should have checked before being ripped off. Then, once seated, after 20 minutes, we had to ask the waitress for the menu. My wife ordered a sirloin steak "medium" but without fries, only salad, and I ordered a rare sirloin steak. My wife's dish arrived with fries, while mine was medium. The sirloin steaks were small and thin, served with a few fries and salad straight from the bag, with no preparation whatsoever. Given the chaos in the dining room, we didn't complain. Feeling we'd been ripped off enough, and wanting to cut this whole ordeal short, we didn't try the desserts. In short, the price of the aperitif, the quality-price ratio of the main course, the presentation, the cooking of the dish, the service…everything was bad.

25/04/2026: Modern decor, very pleasant terrace, excellent service and a very good meal. We had the set menu for 18 euros.

29/05/2026: We ordered the duck and the lamb, and both dishes were absolutely amazing. The desserts were very good as well, and the coffee was a perfect finish to the meal. Our waitress was very nice and spoke really good English. She was always there when we needed support with the menu and made us feel very welcome throughout the evening. When we arrived just after 7pm the restaurant didn’t look very busy, but by 9pm it was completely packed with people- which clearly shows how popular this place is. We would definitely love to come back if we are in the area again!

20/05/2026: Waiter spoke English and was very attentive. The simplest dishes to get right a Caesar Salad. The greenery was bitter, the sauce straight from a bottle and the chicken I believe was either chopped up nuggets or breaded chicken pieces which were dry and cooked to death. Not a pleasant experience and one never to be repeated. Advice try one of the other dozen restaurants on the square.

03/05/2026: I confirm the previous reviews: a little gem in the heart of the peaceful village of Couiza... you are welcomed into a family atmosphere and... the Schweppes is served with a slice of lemon and a strawberry: what a thoughtful touch! THANK YOU for this lovely place!!!!

28/04/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant, which I discovered by chance. The food is excellent and all-you-can-eat for the modest price of €19.90. The place is unique, with paintings by the owner and a sculpted beam serving as a chandelier. I also think they have karaoke nights.

12/12/2025: A fantastic restaurant. Everything is homemade with quality ingredients. I had a beef bourguignon the best I've had in ages. A real treat! The service was quick and friendly. We also got to try a nice little wine, so I left with several bottles. Thank you, I'll be back!
