11/03/2026: We happened to come across this place on a Monday evening when most other restaurants were closed, and we’re really glad we did. All of us enjoyed our meals. Two of us ordered the set menu, which was great value.
The starters were very generous, the duck confit was really good, and the creme brûlée was amazing. A very pleasant surprise, we’d happily come back.

16/03/2026: A really nice restaurant with a friendly yet unpretentious atmosphere. The set menu is €17 including starter, main course, and dessert... nothing to complain about. I tried the duck breast from the à la carte menu; it was delicious, the homemade fries were perfect, and the meat was cooked to perfection. For €22, it's honestly a steal, and the waitress was very pleasant and attentive. I highly recommend this place.

07/03/2026: A great place to eat in Castelnaudary. The food is good and beautifully presented. The cassoulet was particularly delicious. The restaurant is very spacious, both inside and out. There's also a bar. The service is quite fast.

14/03/2026: Excellent restaurant. Open kitchen, everything is homemade. Very warm welcome and service. Superb craft beer. We had the excellent and very generous homemade cassoulet, as well as the linguine with seared scallops – a real treat. Not forgetting the homemade dessert; my apple crumble was absolutely fantastic. If you're passing through Saissac on holiday or are from the Montagne Noire region, this is a culinary address not to be missed. We'll be back!
05/03/2026: Efficient and prompt service, the dishes are very good and made with fresh ingredients. However, the bill is steep for a restaurant in the countryside: you can start finding restaurants in the Aude region with Parisian prices, it's ridiculous...

28/02/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The welcome was warm and the service attentive throughout the meal. The menu offers a variety of very appetizing dishes. The set menu we enjoyed stood out for the quality of the ingredients, their freshness, and perfectly executed cooking. Each plate combined elegant presentation with balanced flavors, making the experience as pleasing to the eye as it was to the palate.
We will gladly return.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

The cuisine was original, classic, but not only that… The place is very pleasant. You must experience it for lunch because the view is breathtaking. We will return.

I had the basic set menu, which was well presented and excellent; the starter buffet was decent and varied.

08/03/2026: The two of us went for dinner on a Sunday evening. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Wonderful atmosphere. We had duck and lamb, the best meal we've had so far in two weeks in the South of France. Amazingly, we were the only guests that evening. So please, everyone, go there in droves so this restaurant doesn't disappear!
