14/02/2026: I'm disappointed with the products advertised on the menu. A minor complaint: the meat advertised as tournedos was actually chuck roast, the kind used for pot-au-feu, and of course, it was very fatty. I find that unacceptable. The price was excessive, and the fries weren't crispy, which is also unacceptable. Disappointed.

07/03/2026: Plenty of choice. A must-try pizzeria in Houlgate. Fast service. The base of some pizzas is really too heavy. A shame, I didn't enjoy it. Disappointed. Be aware of the closing days.

17/02/2026: Reply to the owner below, following my initial message: I tried the couscous from a vending machine in Bretteville-sur-Odon. I bought enough for two people. Unfortunately for my husband and me, the portion dispensed was one chicken drumstick, a small merguez sausage, and a meatball about 3 cm in diameter. The amount of vegetables was also meager... I wonder what's in the single-person portions: one drumstick??? You shouldn't be very hungry, even though what we ate was good. I'm replying to add to my message: it was mainly the meat that was indivisible: one person ate the drumstick and the other the merguez, and we shared the tiny meatball in two. As I said in my initial message: what do you recommend for one person? One drumstick or one merguez? We met in front of the vending machine, and I mentioned the cutlery because we pass by it while charging our car. I didn't think I'd have to give it only one star, and I trusted it given the size of the containers. But the one containing the vegetables and meat was overflowing with broth, and certainly not meat and vegetables, for €25.90! The amount of semolina was adequate.

The classic breakfast option is incredible; we thoroughly enjoyed the high-quality products with a view of the port. What more could you ask for? We'll be back and we highly recommend it! ☺️

04/02/2026: We've enjoyed wonderful evenings at this restaurant for many years. The quality of the pizzas, savory buckwheat crepes, and especially the dessert crepes is a real treat. The welcome is always warm, and it's a pleasure to chat with the owners. However, during a visit in January, the experience was quite different. The presence of a couple with their child unfortunately disrupted the usually calm and charming atmosphere of this neighborhood pizzeria. The lack of structure around this very restless child made the evening considerably less enjoyable. This won't stop us from happily returning to La Fromentine, which we still love.

09/12/2025: I used to be a regular customer at Les 3 Brasseurs, however, I won't be going back. I used to go there for their Welsh rarebit sausage, which was very good. Since the Welsh rarebit sausage was no longer on the menu, I asked if it was possible to add another sausage for an extra charge. They told me it would be €1.50 extra, then a minute later they said €3. I told the waitress that I had been told €1.50, except we were right next to the bar. The bartender told his colleague, "If he's not happy, he can just eat at Buffalo Grill." Nice! Anyway, I received my Welsh rarebit sausage, as I'm a regular customer, and this time, as if by magic, it was inedible. So, this is the first time this has happened to me at this restaurant, and I'm really, really unhappy.

09/12/2025: We had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was great and the setting very pleasant. The food was delicious and Paul's service was excellent. The team was very attentive and responsive to their customers. We went back in November. Cécile gave us a very warm welcome. Very professional!

10/11/2025: We absolutely loved Crêperie Breizh in Lisieux! A true delight! We were thrilled with the quality of the food: the savory buckwheat crêpes were perfectly crispy and generously filled, and the sweet crêpes were simply divine. I particularly enjoyed the Auvergne savory crêpe and the lemon crêpe. The service was warm and efficient, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. You immediately feel at ease. I wholeheartedly recommend this crêperie for a delicious meal, whether you're alone, with family, or with friends. Well done to Jérôme and Colette!

11/03/2026: Friendly welcome, a shame about the dirty San Pellegrino outside. The butcher's cut was incredibly tender, the calf's head and andouillette were top quality, and the speculoos tiramisu was delicate and sweet. The owner was friendly and the decor was fantastic. A clean establishment, highly recommended, as is the village.

The cuisine: The chef delicately and precisely guides us through his world and his local produce, where the ingredients are enhanced and respected to offer us their very essence and delight our palates. A true masterpiece for our enjoyment... Thank you so much! To the venue and the ambiance: simple, discreet, tastefully decorated, with a delicate background soundtrack.

09/03/2026: Very disappointing experience. Reservation at 8:30 PM, but order taken only at 9:10 PM... 40-minute wait for sparkling water. The service was rather appalling, which is a shame for a restaurant of this quality. The food, however, was excellent, with the exception of the cheese, which wasn't to my taste. But otherwise, it was very good. Service needs serious improvement.

25/02/2026: A venue that can accommodate associations, providing them with a meeting room, the possibility of pre-meeting reception, and a large dining room for meals prepared by a chef. Private parking is available around the premises for numerous vehicles.
