12/05/2026: An unpretentious restaurant with a very warm welcome, a clean place, and impeccable service. The food is excellent and very good value for money.

07/05/2026: In this restaurant, good cheer is always present, the cuisine is simple but very well prepared and varied, all at a very affordable price. The staff is cheerful, which is very pleasant.

14/05/2026: A charming restaurant with comfortable chairs and beautiful decor. The welcome was warm and the servers were smiling; we have no complaints about the atmosphere or the way we were received. However, several points need improvement. First, it's unacceptable to wait 40 minutes between the appetizer and the main course, especially on a weekday lunchtime when the restaurant is far from full and the lunch break isn't particularly long. Second, when you offer an appetizer to share, there should be more than just a few tiny pieces of chicken! The portion was already very small for one person, and the plate was covered in oil! Disgusting! As for the main course, you offer a "crying tiger" that isn't spicy. This recipe is obviously seasoned with chili peppers; the dish was tasty but didn't live up to the description. The accompanying risotto is spicier than the meat sauce. It's actually quite surprising to have a dish that isn't really risotto and is made with something other than short-grain rice.

11/05/2026: My first experience at this restaurant, although I'd heard so much about it. We arrived as a party of four (we had a reservation at 7:45 pm), and the staff allowed us to enjoy their superb terrace and cocktails until 8:30 pm without any problems. We ordered several dishes to share for starters, and everything was perfect: the taste, the temperature, and the presentation. There was a wide selection of wines; I recommend the Chablis, and a wide variety of fish, all perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. I have no complaints about the desserts—simple yet satisfying, a perfect way to end a meal. Thank you again to the entire team for the warm welcome and excellent service. We will be back.

28/05/2026: A warm and friendly welcome from every server. Nice back courtyard. The food was good; the meat could have been more flavorful considering the price, but otherwise, no complaints. The only downside, and not the restaurant's fault, was a table of customers with very badly behaved children who were constantly shouting.

11/05/2026: We stayed here for 3 days in early May and slept in room 38. This is a spacious room with a balcony, fridge, and twin beds. From the balcony, you have a beautiful view of the sea. The breakfast is fine by French standards. Eggs, scrambled eggs, cold cuts, and cheese, but also sweet treats. Tea, coffee, and juices are available as desired. We were welcomed at the hotel by Shana. A great host who escorted us to the room and showed us other rooms for comparison. Shana asked us about our plans for the coming days and was eager to help make this expedition complete for us. He had printed out the sights for us several times and advised us on where to go. Down to the smallest details regarding parking tips, as well as price and distances. Additionally, Shana speaks perfect English, which was also very nice for us. We did not eat at the hotel in the evenings, mainly because there is plenty of choice in the surrounding towns. However, the hotel restaurant has a beautiful location with a view of the sea and an open terrace with an adjacent grassy meadow.

06/05/2026: The hotel has a beautiful view, but the room doesn't really have anything: no kettle, no tea, not even cotton swabs. They charge extra for an iron. I wouldn't recommend it. The view gets one star.

13/03/2026: I stopped by for a drink and came back for a meal because I immediately felt I was going to have a good time. The owner is present and the waiter is very professional and accommodating to all his customers. Even the chef is smiling, and the kitchen boy too when they come into the dining room. Well done to you all!

28/04/2026: We held our daughter's christening at L'Olivade on a Saturday at lunchtime. The restaurant was reserved exclusively for us. There were 28 adults and 4 children. The meal was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Thank you to the entire team for the organization and the quality of the food! Everyone was delighted.

07/05/2026: It's a shame the potatoes in the crepes are small squares, probably frozen. The tripe is plentiful and tasty. However, the dessert specialty, or teurgoule, is not for everyone. It's like sticky rice, a kind of heavy, sweet paste. I didn't like it at all. I won't be going back.

25/01/2025: Very well received, beautiful decoration done with refinement. Staff available, discreet, competent. Free-range chicken with its exceptional sauce cut in front of me, (choice of piece and generous portion), mashed potatoes. For dessert, I fell for the chocolate mousse, beautifully presented, excellent! Great experience.
