12/09/2024: De passage nous avions repéré par le petit futé ce restaurant, je dois dire que niveau qualité, quantité à 16.90€ on peut pas faire mieux, les jeunes serveuses sont très souriantes et agréables, un accueil chaleureux un lieu incontournable à faire merci de leurs accueil et leurs disponibilités bravo !!!

06/10/2025: A normal bar from the outside, but inside a beautiful, accessible dining room with both a la carte and daily menu options. The food is delicious and filling. The lady who moves the menu board on the floor in front of you is very friendly. Very, very good if you don't want to spend too much.

18/11/2025: I really enjoyed it. Yes, there were eight of us. Drinks, starter, main course, dessert, and coffee for thirty euros. The food was simple and good. There were many other things on the menu, mussels, fish, etc. I recommend it.

However, the food is rather bland: the burger is smothered in processed sauce, and the Caesar salad is swimming in dressing. You can also hear arguments coming from the kitchen…

09/07/2025: At the Merville Franc market. 2 12-packs of specials advertised at €13 per 12-pack, opened by the fishmonger and eaten at a corner of the table. Price paid: €26. At the P’tit Mousse in Trouville, 2 12-packs (the same) advertised at €16 per 12-pack, bill €58. ????: I was served the special at €24 instead of the €16 requested, I was charged €10 to open them, without being warned. I don't like being ripped off... It went to hell with the staff, as I realized the deception before tasting, I was reimbursed. To enjoy yourself at the advertised price, drive a few kilometers.

08/07/2025: A very good pancake, the yolk was perfectly runny, and the fish and chips were excellent, especially not greasy. I definitely liked the dressing in the salad. Cafe Gourmand is great with its mini desserts from different parts of France. Very friendly service. Best regards, I was there on a red scooter.

Succulent wholemeal galette, salad with refreshing "the chef's sauce," fresh linguini with Camembert was a delight, and the desserts were very generous. The quality and quantity are both excellent. 25/09/2024: Why is there no bread on the table with the dishes? Why don't the fries all look the same, sometimes not crispy and lacking in cooking?

07/10/2025: A real favorite! From the outside, the restaurant doesn't look like much, but inside, you'll discover simple, authentic, and entirely homemade cuisine. The welcome is exceptional: the owner puts his heart into everything he does, loves his job, and shares it with passion. Between two delicious dishes, he takes the time to tell a little about the city's history and give great tips for exploring it. A wonderful encounter and a place not to be missed!

24/01/2026: It's hard to talk about atmosphere in a small town like Port-en-Bessin, deserted in the middle of January! There were only four of us at the restaurant, yet the welcome was warm and the food fantastic! Even if the decor is a bit kitschy, the portions are beautiful and generous! Thank you so much!

21/01/2026: Passing through this Monday... a great little restaurant, the only one open on Mondays in Port-en-Bessin serving scallops. The owner is very friendly, I highly recommend it.
