28/10/2025: A great place to stay in the heart of Lisieux. The family room is spacious and quiet. We loved the breakfast, especially the homemade madeleines. The jams are also excellent!

27/10/2025: We stayed at this hotel for one night. After having problems with our first room due to the noise from the kitchen ventilation system, we were moved to another room. The rooms are fine, but nothing extraordinary. The toilet seat was broken, the pipes seemed half-clogged, and when we came in, a damp smell hit our noses. Apart from that: clean room, comfortable bed. Breakfast was okay. Good for a stopover hotel.

15/03/2026: A very good steakhouse with a side of fries and salad; it's excellent. The food is good. The service is quick and the prices are very reasonable.

06/05/2025: A huge thank you to the Myriam GUEDRAT pastry shop for enhancing our wedding with a strawberry worthy of a cloud of sweetness. Each bite amazed our guests, combining finesse and gourmet pleasure. And what about breakfast the next day! The flans, apple crisps and kouglofs delighted all palates and prolonged the magic with an unforgettable sweet generosity. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your know-how and your sensitivity.

17/10/2025: Very good experience, the meal was delicious and the dessert even better, I had the dish of the day: serrano as a starter, Brosne with semolina, beans and a sauce that went very well with everything for the main course and for dessert a caramel French toast. For all that I paid 18€ and I ate very well

08/03/2026: The food was disgusting, the cups and the forks were dirty and smelling like eggs. Awful. The boeuf bourguignon was not heated equally , the smell was awful so the taste . And very salty . The fries were full of oil like fried 10 times . We couldn’t finish our dishes and we claimed ti the waiter but they didn’t care . Not recommended at all !!!!

12/12/2025: A beautiful holiday village, especially for families with children, with a huge indoor play area and an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, even in winter. A paradise for children. Ideal for those who love the countryside and peace and quiet.

11/03/2026: We had dinner at this lovely restaurant where we received a very warm welcome. The service was excellent, very pleasant and professional, and the food was delicious. I loved my veggie burger; it's great to have that option. The view of the harbor is beautiful! The acoustics can be a bit bothersome at times, but overall it was a good experience, and the little dog is adorable. Thank you for the meal!

28/02/2026: The atmosphere was calm in the restaurant this evening – perhaps a little background music would have made it more convivial! The food was good – the €18.50 set menu was good value for money, to be honest. I ordered a butternut squash "velouté," but it was more like a soup. The main course was very good and a generous portion. I enjoyed the homemade ratatouille. However, the panna cotta wasn't really panna cotta… I was very disappointed with that… you couldn't taste the heavy cream, and there wasn't even any vanilla in it. It was lumpy. But the red fruit coulis was homemade, so it was fine; I let my partner finish it. The other dishes, the homemade pork rillettes, were very good but a little tough, but the main course, which was a real treat, was actually quite good. The welcome and service were good – no complaints! I might recommend ordering a different type of bread. We have two bakeries in Verson, it would be nice to buy some better quality bread! I'll still come back sometime! 😊👍🏻

18/02/2026: Belgians visiting the Vire region for Valentine's Day We came to eat at your establishment and it was a wonderful discovery: the regional aperitif accompanied by local andouille sausage and artisanal cheese, followed by the scallop pizza! A real treat!!!! And the perfect ending: Madame's homemade desserts, "crème brûlée and her chocolate and caramel fondant." Highly recommended! Rony and Maryse

04/12/2025: Hello... I had lunch there about two weeks ago with my husband. We waited five minutes for a table. There were other people having coffee, as were two other tables. It's a shame, the lovely veranda should be closed to drinks after a certain time, and the restaurant itself should be kept open to avoid having to turn customers away. Sincerely, As for the food, I ordered the chef's suggestion, grilled beef. It was good quality and cooked properly (rare these days). It was a shame it was served on a cold plate. The fries, however, need improvement!

01/12/2025: Don’t believe the bad reviews here ! The owners changed very recently and the restaurant is now the best in this price range in Ouistreham. A young couple, with experience. The vegetables are hand cut, the sauces tasty, the fish right from the market. What a pleasure after the previous two owners. Completely renovated. The only thing I don’t understand is why the new owners didn’t change the name, to get rid of the bad reviews on the internet and to show that they are different. On the other hand, the locals have adapted, the place is now full during lunch time… :-)
