21/06/2026: Excellent restaurant! Unbeatable value for money. Friendly staff. Lots of choices. We were a group of 14, and everyone left delighted, including someone with gluten intolerance and another vegetarian. Absolutely perfect! 👍🏻

02/09/2026: A delight from start to finish! The dishes are truly excellent, prepared with care and bursting with flavor. Special mention goes to the tripe, which was absolutely delicious (even for the most hesitant, you can order it without a second thought!). A big thank you also to the waitress, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and truly listened to our every need throughout the meal. A top-notch restaurant; we'll be back very soon!

31/07/2026: An excellent place that I highly recommend! They serve delicious, fresh, and well-prepared food at a great price. For under €20 per person, it's hard to find better. The service is also top-notch: the staff is always smiling, kind, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the meal even more enjoyable. My only slight "complaint" 😄: they just need a good homemade mashed potato on the menu! With dishes of this quality, it would be a huge hit. 😉

The dishes are delicious, and the tapas are a real treat: flavorful, generous, and perfect for sharing. A great spot in Hérouville-Saint-Clair where you're guaranteed a fantastic time. 20/07/2026: A very disappointing experience. The welcome was confusing from the moment we arrived, with visible tension among the staff. Although the menu didn't mention "homemade," a waitress verbally assured us that everything was. However, the overall quality of the food left us very skeptical: the appetizers were crumbled, the bread was of very poor quality, and the mussels were tiny (see photo, there's plenty of room in the shell 😅). The Riesling we ordered was undrinkable; we did, however, appreciate the owner's gesture of goodwill in refunding us. We preferred to leave without dessert and will not be returning.

29/09/2026: The service was quick and cheerful, although some requests went unanswered (a bottle of water and lowering the blinds to avoid eating in direct sunlight)... The food was good and the prices reasonable.

27/09/2026: Hi, we arrived at Le P'tite Mousse just as lunchtime service was ending 😅 We were greeted by Steven with great cheer and were able to order two generous portions of mussels and fries – we thoroughly enjoyed them! 11/08/2026: We had a delicious meal last Sunday. As usual, we asked beforehand how it works. First of all, you are supposed to get your own bread from the baker. Then you go and look around and discuss what you want with the fishmongers. The prices are listed in kg, so you can quickly calculate the cost. We had 12 oysters for 21 euros. Try getting that in the Netherlands. At least 3.50 euros apiece. Delicious! The other seafood is so fresh and tasty that it is definitely worth the money. When you look at the restaurants in the area around Chez Allain, the prices there are much higher. In short, we had a delicious lunch. By the way, the glasses of wine they serve are 15cl for 7 euros; at the average restaurant, this is 7 euros for 10cl. If you happen to be in the area on Sunday, go over to the market first and then have lunch at Chez Allain or one of its neighbors.

01/08/2026: Excellent!!! Top-notch staff. To improve the seafood platter eaten on-site, a few slices of bread with butter would be perfect! Otherwise, don't change a thing, the products are excellent.

03/09/2026: My wife and I were here for lunch. What a place. Food, drinks, vibes. We had a great time. It was all delicious. As an American, we were the only English speakers here so we knew we had a great spot. The food was amazing and the service was even better. They knew what we were looking for and they delivered. Authentic french food. And I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Le Mess is 100% recommendation!!!!

31/07/2026: The four of us had a light lunch at this bistro. We enjoyed it very much: the food was delicious, the service was very friendly (provided by the owner himself), and the atmosphere was very pleasant and, above all, very clean. Highly recommended!

22/08/2026: Ah, Cathy! What wonderful moments you gave us over the years! A fantastic place where we felt welcomed like family and where we enjoyed delicious food. The mussels are unparalleled in Trouville; you'll find amazing recipes like mussels with Pont L'Eveque cheese, and there was even one with cider (an exceptional recipe I'll never forget). In short, and if only it were just the food! What a welcome! With so much warmth, humor, and professionalism, a visit to La Moulerie was our regular holiday ritual, a pleasure to come to Trouville because we were going to see Cathy; the girls looked forward to it so much. For all of this, a huge, huge, huge thank you.
