11/08/2024: A disappointing experience, the worst I've had so far. We call at 7 p.m. (because when we tried to go there at noon they told us that without reservation there is no table), ok then we call to reserve to take a table at 7:45 p.m., but not possible because in fact reservations are only taken if you arrive between 7 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. (logical?) We show up there (because we are persistent), 7:45 p.m.; they tell us no table available, you can come in 25 minutes (at 8:20 p.m.). We are waiting (with 2 children, one 2 years old and another 6 years old); 25min eternal. Ok we arrive and have our table; we also waited 45 minutes to be served… (with two children anyway! Very hungry) Slow service like never before, only one waiter for an ENTIRE restaurant (and a girl who “cleared the tables”) Plus they do takeaway pizzas (orders that go before those at the table).. imagine the wait to make a pizza. Without taking starters we left at 10 p.m. (restaurant closing time). The dishes are not that good as for all the waiting we had. Restaurant to avoid if possible.

18/07/2024: I was served by the owner who saw that I was a tourist and who tried to make me pay 5€ more on the total bill. Didn't apologize for her mistake but was clearly annoyed that I pointed it out to her. Which is a shame because it was very good! I recommend Ste Eve but strongly advise counting again before paying!

04/07/2024: We got breakfast here for 2 days. Very friendly and wonderful variety and quality. The mini quiches were wonderful, along with all the pastries we tried.

18/09/2024: Assiettes plus que décevantes : un poisson médiocre, accompagnement très peu élaboré, ce qui doit être chaud ne l'est pas même après 1 retour en cuisine. Erreur de compréhension à la commande mais discutée par la serveuse, qui de plus a dû nous représenter 3 additions avant d'en proposer une sans erreur. Plein de petits détails m'insupportent dans le service : par 3 fois, pour l'entrée, pour le plat, pour le désert (donc n'est pas 1 hasard) la serveuse veut déservir alors que nous mangeons encore, le visage au-dessus de l'assiette, les couverts dedans ! Du jamais vu !!! Je déconseille très vivement

19/09/2024: Je ne comprends pas les avis négatifs car nous avons été très bien reçus alors que nous avions la réduction du passeport gourmand. Un repas délicieux que ce soit le plat, une choucroute de la mer, un régal et un très bon dessert. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir

19/09/2024: Déjeuner en couple. Nous avons testé le "Menu du jour " comprenant entrée, plat, dessert pour 28,9 euros/personnes. Accompagné de 2 verres de rosé provençal. Les différents mets,très bien présentés, furent d'excellente facture. Le cadre, avec vue mer, ajoute une note romantique au repas. Bref,une bonne adresse à Deauville.

23/11/2024: We called to book the day before, we were confirmed that the terrace was heated and smoking was allowed there; When we arrived, 30 minutes of waiting for the order to be taken, in addition, another 30 minutes of waiting for the said order service. It was 5°C outside and the heating on the terrace (confirmed by the call for reservation the day before) was not turned on, so we asked to turn on the heating, we then had to close the windows, and that the whole terrace stops smoking. In addition, a server bordered on unpleasant, far from what I expected. I strongly advise against it.

23/11/2024: Good atmosphere, nice setting, the staff is pleasant. The Morbier Burger is super good, definitely worth making again!

30/10/2024: Hotel very well located near Sword Beach. The team was very attentive to our needs and the room was well-kept and comfortable. The breakfast is particularly tasty and varied with a large part of organic and/or local products.

20/08/2024: Very friendly young people, homemade sandwiches made to order, a friendly welcome, and very reasonable prices, small homemade desserts on the bakery side and a small café on the café bar side, I recommend to encourage them because they deserve it...

11/08/2024: Accueil trés convivial et service rapide. Les tripes à la mode de Caen son une vraie tuerie !! Nous y retournerons lors de nos prochaines vacances !

10/08/2024: This restaurant was very busy in the evening but the staff went out of their way to find us a table. It’s a typical French brasserie serving a range of dishes - we had pizzas which were amazing but everything else looked good as well. Friendly service and not too expensive.
