29/07/2024: Fick denna restaurang rekommenderad. Vi har inte bokat bord men det fanns ett par bord ute som var lediga . Men inte länge. Vi fick personlig service trots att personalen hade mycket att göra. Jag som ville testa sniglar för första gången i mitt liv fick bra guidning i hur man fiskar upp de ur skalet och ungefär vilken smaksensation jag kan förvänta mig som hjälpte en del i min ” snigelpremiär” . Sedan tog jag anklever och det var en fullpoängare som jag njöt av i små små smakbitar till den tog slut. Jag var så absorberad av det goda att jag inte ens kom på att ta en bild på hur den var upplagd på tallriken. Sauvignon blank från vinlistan personalen föreslog passade utmärkt till både sniglarna och anklevern . Tunnfisken var perfekt tillagad och smakfullt upplagd. Vi och några till gäster var kvar efter stängningsdags . Detta är en restaurang som jag gärna återkommer till och kan rekommendera.

10/09/2024: Wir sind hier gegen 14:00 Uhr für ein spätes Mittagessen eingekehrt und warteten erst einmal 15 Minuten vor dem Restaurant, bis das unmotivierte Service-Personal endlich einen Tisch freiräumte. Im Schneckentempo ging es dann weiter. Nach weiteren 15 Minuten wurde die Bestellung aufgenommen. Dann hiess es nochmals eine Stunde (!) auf das Essen warten. Natürlich nicht ohne dass wir zuvor nochmals danach fragen mussten, weil die Bestellung höchstwahrscheinlich vergessen ging. Als Dank kassierten wir von den völlig untalentierten jungen Damen im Service einen vernichtenden Blick und grosses Augenrollen. Mies war auch das Essen. Das Clubsandwich war kaum mehr als ein Haufen Toastbrot mit einer Speckscheibe darauf. Einzig die Austern waren - Gott sei Dank - geniessbar. Beim Bezahlen warteten wir gar nicht erst auf den Service, sondern eilten selber zur Kasse und dann schnellstmöglich hinaus. Nie wieder!

01/09/2024: The experience is always pleasant and wonderful in taste The dishes are on par with a gourmet restaurant. The setting is cozy and pleasant However, I regret the absence of the former room manager who was exceptional and made each visit unique and personalized for each client. Although the level of reception remains correct and on the same level of requirement, there is also a lack of suspicion that it provided which gives us the impression that the level is below what we experienced which is a bit of a shame. Breakfast is very good as always. However, we recommend without reservation

16/09/2024: Les moules étaient bonnes bien relevées. Fish and chips pour 15€ : les frites sont des surgelées sèches et en petite portion… Que dire du poisson très sec également certainement pas de la cuisine un temps soit peu maison ! Triste assiette aucune couleur même pas une feuille de salade un morceau de tomate pour rehausser une assiette très légère ! Nous n’y retournerons pas

23/09/2024: Very nice restaurant right in the harbor of Honfleur. I had the chicken with potatoes and creme brulee for dessert. Both absolutely recommended. The service was also very friendly and attentive.

21/09/2024: A real gem in Honfleur! During our visit to Honfleur, we discovered this exceptional restaurant which exceeded all our expectations. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Teddy and Karim, a team of incredibly attentive and friendly servers. Their professionalism and kindness made our experience even better. The atmosphere of the restaurant was charming and cozy. There is a great view of the port! In summary, this restaurant in Honfleur is a must. If you're looking for a place to enjoy delicious food while being served by a great team, look no further. We will return without hesitation! 😊

05/09/2024: Nous avons rarement mangés aussi bien , les plats sont excellents, pas pléthore de choix ce qui n est que mieux , les desserts parfait 👍 tout et fait maison , le jeune chef passe , avec discrétion vous demander si tout va bien , le service effectué par madame est efficace. L endroit extérieurement ne paye pas de mine , ne pas si fier, vous en ressortez ravis

27/08/2024: A great stay at this hotel! The real plus is the restaurant, with a top chef who offers regional and refined dishes! The only downside is the noise from the road and the church bells at 7am every day for loooong minutes 😉

07/09/2024: Thought the restaurant was closed and were thrilled that it wasn't...a wonderful place that transports you to a fairytale world. Very tasty food, wonderful ambience... looking at the castle and then relaxing here leads to a happy day - even with children!

03/09/2024: We spotted this small restaurant while visiting the nearby chateau. We popped in for a drink and ended up having some crepes as well - which were superb. The view of the chateau and the accompanying soft background music made the occasion really special.The owners (husband and wife) spoke excellent english. They were charming and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This restaurant is a little hidden gem.

14/08/2024: Staff not that helpful, for what ever reason didn’t want to take our order for at least 5mins, even though we tried. No chance of a friendly face, was like we were making them work. Fish and chips ok, not great, seems locals get better treated, larger portions and even a basket of bread. Hey ho lesson learnt .

09/08/2024: I canceled my reservation for 5 people! First contact by telephone where I was asked to wait a moment.. I stayed 10 minutes waiting for the handset on the counter!! where I was able to clearly hear the employees' discussions (I would do without details) I decide to hang up and call back I leave a message asking to be called back (I was never called back) I decide to book via Booking, I call back early in the morning to ask if it is possible to have the two rooms side by side, I am told it will not be possible then they hang up, I call back immediately there is no answer after 3 times it picks up and hangs up!! I find this rude and lacking in interpersonal skills!! So I left a message explaining why I am canceling my reservation for 5 people You may not need customers given the period and the 80 years since the landing, but the least you can do is be polite and professional!
