19/07/2026: The first time I've seen mussels and fries with fries as an extra at €4.50... after waiting 15 minutes without getting anything we left, doubly annoyed.

07/06/2026: Delicious, indulgent, and flavorful homemade hamburger 👌 The Pont l'Évêque cheese croque monsieur was incredibly melty and soft. Very pleasant service. I highly recommend it 👍

02/04/2026: It used to be a nice bar, now if you don't order their food, you get kicked out. We went next door, it was better.

24/05/2026: We spent the night here with the band. The rooms are spacious and clean and are fully equipped. We were able to park the cars in a secure area behind the hotel. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not recommended. But all in all, the impression is great. The owner was very helpful and hospitable.

02/05/2026: Excellent, top-notch, very welcoming, generous and delicious meals, lots of choice, and great prices. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the private parking was fantastic. I highly recommend it.

14/07/2026: The first time I ate a delicious pot of mussels with camembert; the pizza was also good. The service was very friendly. However, the fries, as is often the case in France, are not very good.. The second time, unfortunately, there was sand in my salad, but the pasta was very tasty.

26/07/2026: Excellent place. We had sea bream served with mashed potatoes and a delicious sauce! The staff was fantastic. Fast service.

22/07/2026: We had lunch as a family. We used to eat at our neighbor's, but were disappointed, so we came here and weren't disappointed either. It's certainly a bit more expensive, but it's worth it; we thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert. The staff was excellent, there wasn't much of a wait, and we were able to store all our luggage at the back of the restaurant, with the manager's permission. I thank her again and highly recommend this restaurant.

04/04/2026: While the products are very good, the Caen store is rather small, making it difficult to move around when there are several customers. It's very unpleasant to be told "can I help you?" after only five seconds in the store.

10/03/2026: Absolutely beautiful chocolate creations here! I had to find one that wouldn't break in my suitcase. The wonderful employee wrapped my chocolate so it would be safe. Thank you! Incredibly reasonable prices... The sculptures would be 10x the price in the USA.

30/05/2026: We came today with our children and ordered mussels. They were absolutely terrible. And to top it all off, I found the red string from the garbage bag in my plate. I pointed this out to the waitress, but she said she unfortunately couldn't do anything because her boss wasn't there. It's 3:38 PM, and my husband is about to throw them up. Great for our relaxing family weekend.

04/08/2026: There were eight of us, and none of the dishes were good. The waitress "forgot" to tell us that they don't have filo pastry on Sundays, so we were served a stale loaf of white bread instead, without even an apology or a discount 🙃. Even the water was undrinkable; frankly, nothing is right about this restaurant. The mussels are excessively salty to mask their bland taste, and even the fries aren't good (most likely frozen). Very expensive for such poor quality food and service that could be much more pleasant.

29/07/2026: We were very (too) cramped on the terrace, the food was good but not high-end, so the prices were too high for what was served. The waitress wasn't particularly friendly, no hello or goodbye, but she was attentive to requests at the table.

06/08/2026: Delicious and flavorful dishes. Pleasant and peaceful surroundings, it's always a treat to go there!

06/08/2026: Lovely view and pleasant dining room. The meal was good, but clearly the desserts (brioche, crepe) were not made to order.

25/07/2026: Called in for lunch and were blown away by the service and the delicious food, all the staff were friendly and attentive but special shout out to Gina who was great with all the children. 10/10

22/07/2026: Avoid at all costs! The service was far too slow. The portions were quite small. There was only a tiny slice of andouille sausage in the starter, and the butcher's cut shouldn't exceed 150g. The desserts were overly sweet... The staff wasn't very welcoming, except for one of the waiters... In short, we definitely don't recommend it!

22/08/2025: We called in for snacks before boarding our train. We felt like an inconvenience because we did not have cash and wished to use card. We spent 12 euros so not a complete fee wasting transaction

01/12/2025: My favorite little restaurant in the old port area. The Camembert crisp is absolutely delicious, and the chicken à la Normande is one of my favorite dishes. The restaurant is pleasant and the food is always good. I highly recommend it.

30/11/2025: If you're used to cooking, don't go to this restaurant. We didn't enjoy the dishes at all, especially the sea bass and scallops. As for the wine by the glass, you don't see the bottle because it's not served in front of you. The tarte Tatin dessert was okay. I wanted to try it despite the rather negative reviews. I can confirm the reviews…
