21/04/2026: Very good kebab.... It's still a kebab, though, maybe a little pricey for fast food. The service was excellent, there's plenty of seating, and the place is clean.

31/03/2026: A really nice bar, the servers are lovely, the atmosphere is very relaxed, and the prices are very reasonable (well below the average on Rue Écuyère). Special mention goes to their seafood, which is excellent! I highly recommend this place, which hosted many of my student nights out!

26/05/2026: A wonderful experience! I came for lunch today with my sister and our two young children. Everything was perfect! Coloring books and crayons were available, and the children's menu included mussels, syrup, and ice cream, which my daughter absolutely loved. The ice cream was served in a rooster (a plastic one, not a real one 😅). We asked for some cucumber slices for the "baby," a request that was accepted and served very quickly! So yes, the prices may seem high, but remember that we're right on the seafront, and the rent must be extremely high too. Thank you for the warm welcome and your kindness. I'm from the Jura region and I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.

01/12/2025: My favorite little restaurant in the old port area. The Camembert crisp is absolutely delicious, and the chicken à la Normande is one of my favorite dishes. The restaurant is pleasant and the food is always good. I highly recommend it.

30/11/2025: If you're used to cooking, don't go to this restaurant. We didn't enjoy the dishes at all, especially the sea bass and scallops. As for the wine by the glass, you don't see the bottle because it's not served in front of you. The tarte Tatin dessert was okay. I wanted to try it despite the rather negative reviews. 02/06/2026: Excellent quality course, with an interesting and varied layout, alternating between a fairly wide outward leg and a narrower return through the woods that demands precision. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The grounds team does a great job. Well done! This golf course deserves to be better known.

25/12/2025: The café has really nice premises, with two rooms offering two very different atmospheres. The servers sometimes seem overwhelmed and tired, which I think explains the comments about other customers' experiences. However, I don't think you should force people to smile all the time, even in this line of work. It's not disrespectful, just a bit of a shame. Even if the servers aren't always beaming with happiness, they are always helpful. And you should see the insulting remarks they sometimes receive from other customers. Indeed, if you sit outside, you have to wait a while before being served. Perhaps making it official that you have to order inside would be helpful? It's done in many cafés, so why not here!

28/11/2025: I usually come here to buy my cigarettes when I'm in Lisieux, but today I was very disappointed because a woman forgot to give me change, saying I should have saved it for the betting shop, etc. Frankly, I won't be coming back to buy my cigarettes here.

25/05/2026: We visited twice during our stay in Falaise and can highly recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious - both the dish of the day & also off the menu. The staff were really attentive & helpful, even when it was very busy. If we stay here again, we’ll definitely return to this restaurant.

08/05/2026: A lovely little restaurant with a very pleasant terrace overlooking a large square, well away from the hustle and bustle. We opted for pizzas with a very thin crust and generous toppings of quality ingredients, especially cheeses. Several tempting desserts were also available. The service was very attentive and friendly.

15/05/2026: An extremely unpleasant waiter who made my friends and me feel terrible. He complained several times that we were over the safety line with the road; it was only 2 or 3 cm, and we certainly weren't the only ones during peak hours. Waiters at other bars say it much more politely, but he said it very angrily. He then complained that there were six of us crammed around one table and asked us to move closer, which was impossible because of the people at the other tables who were spread out. We decided to quickly finish our drinks and leave. When the garbage truck came by, three people from our group were already up and waiting on the other side of the road. There were four of us when the waiter came to collect our drinks, and he made a sarcastic comment: "Ah, that's much better." If this is how customers are treated, then they can keep their unpleasant waiters.

02/05/2026: We were very satisfied with our stay at the Hôtel de Normandie! We were traveling by bike and were able to leave our bikes inside. The staff was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. And we were even upgraded to a room with a sea view. We didn't try the restaurant. Despite the negative reviews (about the restaurant), go for the hotel!

24/05/2026: Avoid at all costs!!!! Family meal today at La Marine restaurant, and frankly, an experience I won't soon forget for all the wrong reasons. I've never seen such catastrophic service; management should be seriously concerned. Three incidents that perfectly sum up the atmosphere: The "rationed" mayonnaise: There were three of us at the table, all with fries. We were brought two portions of mayonnaise. I politely asked an elderly waitress with white hair for a third. She openly grumbled, explaining that the mayo was "homemade" and therefore... limited. I had no idea that a small, artisanal condiment shop imposed quotas on its customers. The bread, what a nightmare: I asked for an extra bread basket. An elderly waiter with white hair told me he'd have to go get the bread and that it was "a pain." To a customer. In a restaurant. It's unbelievable. The dessert menu, the final straw: When I asked for the dessert menu, the same waitress flew into a rage, accusing us of having already asked her (it was my mother). Then she launched into a tirade about the fatigue of "continuous service." I sympathize with the demanding nature of the job, but it's not the customer who should suffer the consequences. The worst part: the food wasn't the problem. It was solely the staff's attitude that ruined the meal. Such deplorable service shouldn't exist. Management absolutely must take action, because as it stands, this restaurant is driving customers away. We won't be going back next time.

05/05/2026: A family-friendly place where you can take your time. The waitress and waitresses are very friendly and attentive, and the food... a delight. Highly recommended.

27/12/2025: Very disappointed. The waiter was barely friendly, and the service was poor: he didn't offer water or any other drinks. After our savory crepes, he didn't even offer a dessert menu or coffee! We paid and left. I definitely don't recommend this place.

12/12/2025: Definitely not a place to revisit. Food was poor, room was not warm and the service distinctly anti-English. Hugely overpriced too. 2 stars for food because the cheese starter was tasty (although not hot enough) €86 paid for 2 courses for 2 people plus calvados and Small wine 🙁

01/06/2026: Pleasant young waiter and waitress. Quick service. Fried food, salmon, chicken escalope; good mussels marinière with acidic wine. The custard on the floating island dessert was thin and seemed watered down. Expensive meal for the quality.

23/12/2025: If I could give zero stars, this would be it. A restaurant I've frequented for a long time, and which until now has been impeccable… but my last experience was extremely disappointing! I had booked a meal for 20 people for an event two months in advance with the waiter. (Invitations ordered and sent) The owner met with me to discuss the reservation… not a very warm welcome… a very arrogant person… however, I went ahead with it… Two weeks ago, like many others, I learned that the restaurant was closing its doors but continuing to offer service for professional and private events. (My event wasn't affected per se.) However, I sent an email asking if my reservation was still valid and if the conditions remained the same… no response… I went to the restaurant, the waiter passed the message on to the owner, who asked me… I'm still waiting for a call back… So I booked my event elsewhere! The day before yesterday, a caterer called me back saying they were taking over the reservations… I had the pleasure of telling him I wasn't going to proceed and wished him the best of luck working with an establishment like that! An arrogant boss who manages his reservations terribly, doesn't bother to call his clients back, and I think he doesn't care about losing a table of 20 people… he probably doesn't care about that… In any case, he's off to a great start with his new venture! Avoid at all costs, because they've lost a lot of customers! No wonder the employees are coming and going like they do every day of the week…

The food is amazing, we come from Indonesia and having this local food fantastic: Cod Fish (, Beef Soup and Chicken with local material so good. We recommended to all of you, the local food hunter 😍 Lisieux so amazing and the restaurant must try
