19/09/2024: Excellent Camembert mussels and a well-filled Normandy burger with real ground steak. The gourmet coffee is really hearty. I gave 4 stars for the fries which were not homemade but otherwise everything was very good. And a little extra: pleasant service. I recommend

03/12/2024: A warm welcome. A nice decor. The dish of the day on the slate “Scallops with tagliatelle with cider cream” brought us in. And we were not disappointed. It was great. The great chefs who peeled mussels for my mother, who has a disability, really touched us. 5-star service from a dynamic and friendly team. We recommend with our eyes closed and we will come back as soon as possible.

02/12/2025: The setting of this tea room is very pleasant, but the service is deplorable. The young man brought our pastries, didn't offer us any drinks, and dragged his feet to get the menu. We placed our order, but barely had we crossed the room when he forgot the name of the tea, and when he miraculously brought it, he forgot the sugar! In short, a shocking lack of motivation, not up to the standard of the setting and the refinement of the pastries.

17/09/2024: Hello, this restaurant is a total scam, I asked for a bottle of sparkling water they charged me 8. I try to contact them but their phone number does not work. Pay attention to the receipt, I post a photo with my receipt. There were five of us, they made me pay €197.30.

14/12/2024: Once again I was able to see the poor reception of a short, dark-haired lady who should take sales and friendliness courses, especially when you want to classify your products at the top of the range. And out of season we can't say that it is jostled by the crowd.

28/09/2024: Very warm welcome, kind. Certainly, the rolls are not exceptional but you can smell the butter and the homemade, and it's really good. Takeaway coffee and chocolate Viennese are also good. The only open bakery in Arromanches, the bad reviews are currently not justified in my opinion.

25/09/2024: For the Arromanche bakery alone it is shameful, opinion of a former baker. Unpleasant waitress when arriving, products not appealing, pastries a horror. You will have to think about changing pastry bakers.

17/09/2024: We had a very enjoyable evening and the food was lovely! It was very busy and all the staff were working hard but the food still took rather s long time to come to the table. My fish soup was piping hot and obvioulsy freshly made. All the staff were pleasant, and spoke good English. Would definitely go again.

10/12/2025: If it were possible, I wouldn't give it any stars. My mushroom omelet not only smelled disgusting, it also tasted fishy and completely unseasoned. I was done after one bite, but I still had to pay. A complete tourist trap with potential health risks.

27/11/2025: I was very surprised. So many people smoking on the covered and enclosed terrace. It seems to me that this is prohibited. I mentioned it, but it didn't change anything. One person was smoking, a meter away from me, and five minutes later a second smoker arrived. Gentlemen, smoking is prohibited on covered and enclosed terraces. Why don't you enforce the law? Apparently, for you, money is more important than the health of your customers.

25/08/2024: Very good plate and fair price. Pleasant setting. The boss came to see if everything was okay. A downside for the wait between the main course and the dessert. Mr. Boss, waiting could cause you to lose money because customers abandon. Additionally, the seats are not comfortable.

24/08/2024: A few signs should have attracted our attention not to stay, the welcome of the seeming tax controller behind his computer, which he did not leave all evening, while his brave waiter covers the entire room, the diver facing the customer and the lady who insistently eats her nails 3 centimeters between two bowls, a real sketch,....aperitif plate of damp charcuterie sauced with condensation from the fridge, I suppose.... The aperitif is good and very fresh as well as the rosé offered, but the cuttlefish stew was uninteresting, more potatoes than cuttlefish, added salt and pepper twice.... No dessert will be fine!

04/09/2024: What to say?? I really approve of the mussels. It was a treat. My stomach was literally exploding. The chef managed 100% for the taste. I had more room to get the sauce with the bread. Go there with your eyes closed. I will come back only for that

19/09/2024: A fuir, j’avais commandé un steak tartare, la viande est arrivée rosée et très grasse, je l’ai tout de même goûté mais immangeable, je leurs ai demandé de me la changer, je l’ai remplacé par une aile de raie, sans goût et tièdes Mon mari avait pris des moules frites, elles étaient froides avec plein de coquilles cassées, les frites étaient pas mauvaises mais pas très chaudes Seul l’accueil était bien

18/09/2024: Je pense que c’est une note justifiée car nous avons bien diné ., Les moules étaient assez cuites mais un peu salées, il n’y avait plus de bars mais mais remplacé par la dorade qui était bien cuite, les frites étaient croustillantes et bien chaudes et le dessert bien copieux et bien arrosé aussi !! La serveuse amusante et sympathique , nous avions passé une bonne soirée.

29/08/2024: Passing through Dives sur Mer, purchasing a brioche/croissant (the seller does not specify the name) in the shape of a dome. Brioche with a nice buttery taste and a flaky crust. A delight! Too quickly eaten so no photo😉

29/08/2024: A customer for 30 years, I have seen in recent years a chocolatier who certainly maintains very good product quality, but who now seems to be in the hands of unscrupulous financiers: in terms of price, it is really expensive and therefore pretentious, and in terms of service , it's nonsense: the shop is closed on a Saturday in August at 3:00 p.m. (without any explanatory paper) even though it's supposed to be open, or another time I waited alone in the shop for 5 minutes, before an employee appears from the back of the store. I should have helped myself and left!!!
