18/11/2025: Thanks to Garcelle Golf Club for inviting me as a pro. A very enjoyable course to play, this little-frequented golf course deserves to be better known.

14/03/2026: The food quality is truly outrageous for the price. I ordered a plate of eight langoustines for €28, which is already very expensive for just eight pieces. I also ordered an extra side dish, a gratin dauphinois, which was really not good. For dessert, I ordered a tarte Tatin with crème fraîche, and I also asked for a scoop of vanilla ice cream. When my dessert arrived, it didn't even have the crème fraîche, which was supposed to be included. So I asked the waitress if it would be possible to bring it to me. Frankly, I don't recommend this restaurant. The food and the portions are not worth the price. The only positive point was the waitress, who was kind.

13/11/2025: Avoid this bar/restaurant! The service is appalling. The manager's comment was, "Well, it's a party, they can sit wherever they want." You might as well find another line of work if you can't treat your customers well.

13/11/2025: Not worthy of a bar/restaurant; the Perrier is served in an aluminum can, they don't offer half-pints of beer (the minimum is 33cl), which forces you to buy more. And the service needs improvement.

20/02/2026: This PMU betting shop is one I discovered a while ago. Every time I'm in the area, I stop by. The service is charming and professional. The place is spotless. Looking for a bite to eat at lunchtime? Stop HERE! This is the place to be. Let's go!

20/03/2026: We were looking for a restaurant while strolling around and stopped at Restaurant la Marine because the menu appealed to us. We ordered the set menu (main course and dessert) for €27. While not haute cuisine, we enjoyed our meal and the setting. The staff were very pleasant and professional. If we were to pass through Trouville again, we would definitely stop there.

27/12/2025: Very disappointed. The waiter was barely friendly, and the service was poor: he didn't offer water or any other drinks. After our savory crepes, he didn't even offer a dessert menu or coffee! We paid and left. I definitely don't recommend this place.

19/11/2025: I had a quick bite of a ham/egg/cheese galette, which perfectly met my expectations; the service was fast and pleasant.

25/12/2025: The café has really nice premises, with two rooms offering two very different atmospheres. The servers sometimes seem overwhelmed and tired, which I think explains the comments about other customers' experiences. However, I don't think you should force people to smile all the time, even in this line of work. It's not disrespectful, just a bit of a shame. Even if the servers aren't always beaming with happiness, they are always helpful. And you should see the insulting remarks they sometimes receive from other customers. Indeed, if you sit outside, you have to wait a while before being served. Perhaps making it official that you have to order inside would be helpful? It's done in many cafés, so why not here!

28/11/2025: I usually come here to buy my cigarettes when I'm in Lisieux, but today I was very disappointed because a woman forgot to give me change, saying I should have saved it for the betting shop, etc. Frankly, I won't be coming back to buy my cigarettes here.

25/03/2026: We went there last Sunday. Not much choice in starters. When we got to the till, we felt like we were bothering the young man; no greeting or thank you. I ordered an extra-large rare steak, but when we got to the table, it was cooked like a shoe. I went back to the cook, who told me it wasn't cooked properly. I had a hard time getting my steak rare. Expensive for what we ate.

20/03/2026: A terrible experience. An empty buffet with a couple of disgusting bits and pieces... they close at 10:00 PM, we arrived at 7:30 PM... the ribeye steak was butchered and poorly cooked. I haven't been back in ages, and I'll never set foot in there again, I was so disappointed by the service and the food. It won't last long if they keep going like this; closure is guaranteed. It's not what it used to be. And they certainly won't recover... long live the competition, I'd gladly go somewhere else.

25/10/2025: A table reserved two days in advance, arrived at 8 p.m. (reservation time) to find the door closed. Of course, without prior notice. Under these conditions, I wouldn't presume to judge the cuisine.

28/02/2026: Arriving at 11 a.m. in the midst of a raging storm, the new owners and their team welcomed us early and offered us shelter! This perfectly illustrates the generosity with which they strive to serve their customers! Their crepes were excellent, very generously filled, and plentiful. There was a wide variety of choices on the menu! The location is perfect; it's a great place to eat! Thank you for your hospitality!

12/03/2026: A beautiful, very quiet and magnificent place. The interior could use a refresh, but the staff are lovely. Close to Trouville-sur-Mer and Deauville. Truly ideally located on a hill. The indoor pool is a bonus.
