19/03/2026: We arrived by chance, a little late, at this unassuming roadside spot, but were immediately warmly welcomed by the owner. The set menu is truly generous. Real, good home-style cooking at a very reasonable price.

07/05/2026: Hello, I went to this establishment on Tuesday, May 5th, to have a drink on their beautiful terrace, but it was empty. I went into the restaurant to ask, and I was told that Mondays and Tuesdays were reserved exclusively for hotel guests, and for others, it was only from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM! I wonder how this very restrictive establishment operates!

27/04/2026: We ate at Albatros, on a friend's recommendation. Good atmosphere, very good food, friendly and attentive waiters. However, we waited over 40 minutes for our desserts, probably because they were defrosting... What a shame!

The dishes were delicious. The atmosphere was very friendly. Vincent is a young man who loves his work and deserves to succeed. I will be back soon to recommend the establishment to my partner. 24/05/2026: On May 24, 2026, at noon, we were on the shaded terrace overlooking the sea. For an aperitif, we had a generous mojito with plenty of lime wedges. Homemade foie gras to start. The sea bass fillet was perfectly cooked, and the plate was generously filled with julienned vegetables (see photo). A refreshing strawberry soup and a large After Eight ice cream. Two coffees, a bottle of San Pellegrino, and a slice of white wine. €115: excellent value for money! Pure bliss! We always enjoy coming back 👍

19/05/2026: The menu included a free glass of wine, but since we don't drink alcohol, we asked for a coffee instead. The owner refused.

30/05/2026: A must-try address in Royan. The food is truly excellent, and the service is impeccable. Honestly, nothing to complain about.

20/05/2026: Too noisy in the dining room. The bill was way too high for boiled pork with more fat than lean meat. I would never go back.

18/05/2026: A very good restaurant: quality ingredients, original dishes in a lovely setting. The only downside was the much-touted terrace, which meant we had to eat in the cold despite the blankets kindly provided. Remember to ask when you make your reservation whether your table is inside or outside so you can dress accordingly 😉
