26/06/2026: We had another excellent meal! Simple, traditional cuisine, just the way we like it.

06/06/2026: The food was amazing, the meat incredibly tender – we highly recommend it! And above all, the atmosphere was fantastic.

11/07/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! A plate of stale oysters on Oleron was a DISGRACE. The owner is incredibly aggressive, with a disastrous way of speaking. He runs over dogs and yells at customers even when the dog is underfoot. The waitresses are doing their best, but the owner is constantly shouting at them (yes, you can hear everything from the toilets), and he even yells in public! The skate was covered in vinegar, one of our plates never arrived, and the waitresses were treated like dirt, even though they were doing their best and always smiling. I gave a terrible rating for service because this restaurant doesn't deserve any attention, and we weren't served one out of our six dishes. I hope someone takes over the kitchen and buys this dump. Oh yes, I haven't told you the best part yet: "We're out of mussels!" Then the owner comes over and says, "No, we couldn't serve you, we only have two portions," and gets bogged down in pathetic explanations. And don't even get me started on the exorbitant prices for such paltry quantities! Run away! I hope we don't get sick, considering how fresh the oysters were!

08/07/2026: A very warm welcome and excellent cuisine. Fresh ingredients and the mussels were cooked to perfection. The chef was very attentive to allergies and able to offer safe dishes. Highly recommended.

08/05/2026: We had a fantastic long weekend at Camping des Grenettes! The pitch, mobile home, nearby parking, mini-market, children's play area, and proximity to the beach were all perfect 👌 Just a minor drawback: the departure time and the slightly chilly heated outdoor pool!

03/05/2026: Great campsite! Very comfortable and clean mobile home. Quiet location, close to the beach with direct access to the campsite. Dogs welcome. Pitch with no overlooking neighbors and right next to our friends' place.

01/06/2026: An incredible place, the likes of which we rarely see anymore, products of extraordinary quality, and above all, a meeting with Franck. A simple, warm, genuine person with a huge heart. You can't go to Île d'Aix without stopping by Franck's, and you might even get a Johnny Hallyday song 😉❤️❤️

26/06/2026: A truly excellent place, always well served with a menu worthy of a top-notch restaurant. The staff is exceptional. I enjoy stopping by as often as possible. From appetizers to after-dinner drinks, everything is excellent and the atmosphere is lively.

24/06/2026: We stopped by briefly and it was a very positive experience... they were going to close the kitchen but in the end they let us in... Quick service, clean dining room, and good food at reasonable prices... The salads were very good...

12/06/2026: Pleasantly surprised! A fantastic establishment offering quality cuisine in a simple yet welcoming atmosphere, with very friendly, smiling, and attentive servers (a special shout-out to Lola, who was perfect from start to finish)! I'll be back very soon in August!

11/06/2026: Yet another beach restaurant! Neither good nor bad. What you should expect from an establishment whose only real skill is choosing an exceptional location is that of the owner. The efforts of the waitstaff fail to compensate for the vanity of what appears to be the chef. If you end up having a good time, it's because you're not going to waste precious moments with friends on a restaurant you'll have forgotten as soon as this post is published. You can go there if you must. As for me, I'll leave it to the Instagrammers and other compulsive selfie-takers.

24/11/2025: During our November cycling trip, we received a warm welcome at La Table de Meursac. We particularly appreciated the private room reserved for our group of 12, the quality of the service, and the dishes on the weekly menu, all enjoyed in a bright and peaceful setting. 17/06/2026: Thai chicken and mint salad.... Too much white cabbage, even. Where's the chicken? I didn't see any chicken.

14/06/2026: Unfriendly, you ask for something to eat, a face down to the floor, get a drinks menu, order something to drink, it gets slammed on the table without a "please," not satisfied, we'll just go eat somewhere else then!

17/07/2026: A nice restaurant with tasteful decor... the waiter knows his menu... Fresh produce, fresh fruit... a proud but friendly, if slightly stingy, owner... In short, don't hesitate, it's an artist's restaurant. Just look at the paintings and the decor, undoubtedly done by the owner (not the fish 🐟, but the octopus 🐙, rather). Enjoy your meal!

16/07/2026: Disappointed by the quality of the food: nothing special or tasty. €100 for two and we didn't feel like we got our money's worth. The octopus kebab was a large hamburger-style bun with a tasteless slice of octopus and yogurt inside, and frozen fries; the maki served with a few lettuce leaves, some dry carrot strips, and a few drops of balsamic vinegar. The wait for the appetizers and between courses was very long, and we had to wait even longer for drinks. The service was pleasant, and the atmosphere was nice too, but I go to a restaurant for the food.
