14/05/2026: There were ten of us, and we all unanimously agreed that every dish was excellent. The taste and presentation were worthy of a true gourmet restaurant, but at a very affordable price. The service was also impeccable and very friendly. An experience we highly recommend. Just one suggestion: it would be nice to add a regional appellation to the wine list.

07/06/2026: The welcome and service were truly friendly, the dishes were well prepared (the salad bun was very fresh and tasty), the waitress Nola was incredibly attentive and always smiling, the rum baba was smooth and creamy, the service was again very flexible, allowing us to enjoy hot drinks with our feet in the sand, and the mint tea was garnished with fresh leaves. Truly 5 stars from start to finish, well done to the whole team!

03/06/2026: My daughter and I wanted to eat fried smelt, which was listed on the menu at the entrance. It was noon, and my daughter wanted shrimp. We were greeted and seated at a table on the beach behind a couple. We had to move our table because my daughter couldn't get past the woman behind us; she was practically glued to her chair. Even when we asked politely, she wouldn't budge. When it came time to order, I asked for the fried smelt and shrimp for my daughter, and that's when the trouble started. It was noon, so it was the first seating, and I was told there was no fried smelt or shrimp, even though it was written on the chalkboard at the entrance. Normally, when dishes are unavailable, they cross it off the chalkboard or announce it when seating people. So I ordered spring rolls, and my daughter got the kids' meal with fries and nuggets. For my main course, I ordered the bo boon. Again, the spring rolls on my starter were very dry, and the salad was inedible, so I left everything. This isn't like me. The only positive point was the very pleasant young waiter.

07/06/2026: Disappointment Beautiful photos of the terrace, but despite the lovely sunshine this Sunday, the terrace wasn't open for dining; you could only stroll there, even though it's located on the Seudre River and overlooks nature. It's frustrating because there was no explanation. The welcome was mediocre, the food mediocre, the service mediocre. We didn't know if the staff were the owners or employees; there was no enthusiasm for their work, no smiles. What a shame!

30/12/2025: We received a very warm welcome at this lovely little wine bar. The service was friendly and very efficient for our large table of eight; we didn't even have time to get thirsty! And we had a delicious meal to boot: excellent oysters, superb truffle ham, and good bread. It was well worth the trip.

13/10/2025: Welcomed with a smile by Arthur, the owner. A beautifully decorated room, expert advice, especially on wine, and cuisine featuring fresh, local produce. A warm, unmissable address in La Couarde, where you'll feel right at home.

03/06/2026: A stop on the Velodyssey cycling route. Location: very close to a very noisy four-lane highway. However, the hotel is soundproofed. The welcome was very friendly. The manager offered to store our bicycles safely in the corridor leading to the restaurant.

27/04/2026: A very pleasant bistro, both in terms of decor and service. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, especially thanks to the terrace overlooking the harbor, which is a real bonus. The food is generally very good, with some dishes being particularly well-executed. The coffee was also excellent, which is always a welcome way to finish a meal. However, the prices are quite high, clearly in a touristy range, comparable to those found in Paris. Overall, a good place to eat, pleasant for a convivial meal, although the value for money might be a little less than ideal.
