01/01/2026: This is our third time at this brasserie, and we were very disappointed. The ribeye steak was inedible; the meat was gamey—the smell and taste were off. The waitress should have taken it back to the chef so he could at least taste or smell it. Her response was quite arrogant. As former restaurant owners, we didn't want to push the issue. We understand that mistakes happen, but we should at least verify the customer's claims.

19/09/2025: Lunch menu of the day for only 16 euros!! Salad with volants, choice of 5 main courses, and 5 desserts. Lots of drivers inside, so fast service.

05/08/2026: Very uninterested staff. Can't manage a smile.

27/07/2026: We had a wonderful time! It's true that sometimes there's a bit of a wait, but it's not fast food, and it's nice to be able to take your time in this beautiful city. Thank you to the very friendly servers!

09/08/2026: The waiter was disrespectful and, under the pretext of keeping tables outside empty for no reason, told us to go inside, even though there were plenty of free tables (I repeat) and we obviously wanted to order food and drinks. His judgment was hasty. But the place itself is magnificent.

06/08/2026: The setting is very pretty, especially the tree-shaded terrace. However, the staff is unbearable, haughty, and completely unhelpful. We felt like we were intruding simply by asking for directions to the restrooms… The waiter didn't bring us a menu and greeted us with a dismissive "What would you like?" Furthermore, the glasses were brought already filled, so we didn't know what wine we were drinking. To top it all off, we had barely gotten up and hadn't even finished gathering our things when the waiter cleared the table (even though the terrace was half empty and no one was waiting), which made it very clear that he was in a hurry to finish his shift! It's such a shame with such a beautiful setting…

13/06/2026: Absolutely terrible!! Frozen fries!! The beef carpaccio made my colleague sick! Luckily the waitress was very nice!

27/05/2026: Excellent welcome, very friendly waitress. We also had a very good meal on the terrace. I highly recommend it.

31/05/2026: The service was ridiculous. We waited an hour to be served, and not a single apology. The waiters spoke with a condescending air. We were kicked off the terrace for daring to drink water and a Coke from the nearby bar because we were incredibly thirsty in 30-degree heat. Even if I were dying of thirst, I would never go back.

28/05/2026: If you enjoy waiting at least 30 minutes for your order to be taken, 20 minutes for it to be brought to you, and on top of that being treated condescendingly by unpleasant waiters, run to the Comédie!

16/07/2026: We enjoyed the charcuterie board with some excellent Burgundy wines, of course. Note that there's a Happy Hour on selected drinks between 6 pm and 8 pm. Pleasant terrace on Rue Vauban.

03/07/2026: Happy hour with friends, enjoying a charcuterie board on the terrace. A pleasant, friendly setting in the heart of Dijon's historic center. The waiter was friendly and efficient, but the owner behind the bar was noticeably less welcoming. The charcuterie board was decent, nothing special. The toilets were very dirty.

09/07/2026: Brunch at the abbey: a beautiful day in a magnificent setting, a warm welcome, an excellent meal, and excellent desserts. We will be back.

05/07/2026: Beautiful setting with a wooded park, fountain, and free-roaming animals. Unique interior, well worth a visit. Welcoming and helpful staff. Generous and plentiful brunch.

05/08/2026: We've been eating here for four years when we come to Dijon, but today was such a disappointment! The eggs poached in milk (the wine was like vinegar), the sauce on the chicken escalope had no flavor other than flour, and even the coffee ice cream in the Liège-style dessert was full of watery ice cubes and turned to mush. We need to find a new restaurant. Very disappointing.

04/07/2026: I ordered two milkshakes and was very disappointed. A milkshake isn't simply milk mixed with syrup or powder. The base of a real milkshake is ice cream, milk, and perhaps a flavoring (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, etc.), all blended until you get a thick and creamy texture. A quick reminder of the recipe: 2 to 3 scoops of ice cream About 20 cl of very cold milk A flavoring or a sauce if desired Blend, and it's ready. The product I was served was liquid, had no texture, and was nothing like a real milkshake. At this price, you have the right to expect the basics to be respected. I hope this review will prompt the owner to revise the recipe and improve the quality of what is served.

12/06/2026: Run away from this restaurant!!!!!!!! Even a roadside diner is much better and cleaner! The food is unappetizing and the presentation is a disaster. There's nothing to eat except fries, and when they cooked my meat, they gave me a completely filthy grill! The cutlery was covered in stains, the glasses were even worse, and the floor was sticky. Brussels sprouts, peas, or fries?!

12/06/2026: The restaurant is mediocre and dirty; the toilets aren't cleaned. The meal options are mostly watery mashed potatoes, vegetables, and fries. If you don't get fries, you don't get to eat. And the dessert selection is very limited since the change of ownership; there's practically nothing left to eat. You might as well eat at home.

The starter was mediocre, the main course passable, and the dessert was okay. Almost all the plates were damaged (broken or chipped corners). Avoid this place.

01/05/2026: I just picked the date randomly because, frankly, I've known and frequented this bar for so long, formerly Pont Neuf, because of its lovely terrace... one of the few in Besançon. When I was still working, I often had my coffee there early in the morning before work. The owners, Dominic and Claire, work very hard and have done so for years, so a little kindness and respect for them would be appreciated. I go back as soon as my health allows, due to some health issues. The service is always top-notch, and the establishment has always been impeccably clean. And a new addition to help them out, Karine, a ray of sunshine and positivity. I'd like to take this opportunity to wish them a well-deserved holiday at the end of this week. I'll be there whenever I can. Thanks to Dominique and Claire, supported by Karine.

18/02/2026: The waiter was extremely unpleasant, completely tactless, and very rude. Change jobs, sir!
