22/07/2026: Family meal at the local bistro. Warm and friendly welcome. The food is truly excellent. We had a lovely time. We will gladly return.

20/07/2026: A place I stumbled upon while wandering around. A real treat for the taste buds. We were just passing through. The lamb confit was excellent, and the steak with its perfect sauce... I highly recommend it.

17/09/2026: Passing through Périgueux and on the recommendation of the Michelin Green Guide, we enjoyed both your warm welcome and your delicious food. The presentation, the quality of the products... both food and drinks, you are practically perfect. Even our large black dog was pampered.

14/09/2026: A market-fresh menu. While the starter was pleasant, the main course and dessert were truly delightful. The kind you remember with a smile. And that's without mentioning the warm and efficient service and the pleasure of having lunch on the terrace at the foot of the cathedral, overlooking the square, which was beautified during Delphine Labails' unfortunately short-lived term.

10/09/2026: We arrived without a reservation and received a very warm welcome. The menu and wines were also excellent. We didn't stay overnight and therefore cannot comment on the rooms.

20/08/2026: Excellent restaurant in the charming village of Issigeac. The dishes are cooked to perfection and the ingredients are top quality. The €50 set menu was simply perfect, accompanied by a very good Pecharmant wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Congratulations to the young couple who run this establishment.

13/07/2026: During our two-day cycling trip, we found refuge from the heat in this restaurant, which had everything going for it. The young owner of this family-run establishment is truly pleasant and welcoming. The food is carefully prepared and delicious, and the wine list delighted us. Thank you to the whole team!

05/07/2026: Hello, we had the pleasure of enjoying the bistro's cuisine at a wedding. They catered the event and delighted us with the verrines and brazier dishes during the cocktail hour, as well as the evening dinner. The brunch the following morning was absolutely enormous. We will definitely be back to enjoy the restaurant menu! 😀 I should also mention that the serving staff are incredibly friendly and always smiling! Well done to them!

29/08/2026: Perfect! A very nice place, with a warm, Irish pub-style interior. A lovely terrace with a beautiful view of the countryside. Fast service and friendly staff. The food was very good (burgers, cassoulet, sirloin steak, fish and chips, homemade fries). Excellent value for money, good portions. The desserts were also very good. Nice humor in the menu descriptions. And finally, a place where you can find Guinness on tap! We highly recommend it.

23/08/2026: A perfect stay in the heart of the Périgord Noir! If you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing place to recharge, La Ferme de Maraval is the ideal spot. The immersion in the region is total! A huge thank you to our hosts, Pedro and Michaël, for their incredibly warm welcome. They are amazingly kind, always ready with great advice for exploring the surrounding area, and above all, possess an unfailing sense of humor. Special mention for the restaurant where we truly enjoyed a delicious meal! And a special shout-out to Pedro for his very "personal" Cuba Libre recipe…! A precious place where you feel at home from the very first minute. One thing is for sure: we will be back with immense pleasure!

08/09/2026: We was recommended this restaurant from Adrian Kenyon, the local artist and it turned out the best thing we did. They fitted us in and we enjoyed a superb dinner there. Fantastic waitresses, no note pads all by memory, a good sign of experience. Food and wine was top shelf

07/09/2026: We had lunch today and it was delicious. The waitresses who served us were very friendly, the meal was good (we tried both options on the menu), and the setting is charming. You can taste the quality of the ingredients, away from the hustle and bustle of the main square.

29/07/2026: We ate there evening of Monday 27th July, group of 6 with our dog. We were inside and very warmly welcomed (including doggo). Food was excellent the duck parmentier being the favourite! It's very reasonable, great food attentive service... great to be on the terrace if possible. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

28/07/2026: A very good restaurant, found by chance on Google. You can tell there's real care behind every dish. The service was excellent, a warm welcome, smiles, and politeness—essential qualities. My only slight criticism is that I find the appetizers and desserts a little too expensive.

17/08/2026: A wonderful restaurant we found on our holiday route: delicious smoked trout, excellent duck rillettes, roast black pudding… And above all, the service was very friendly, all in a lovely setting.

16/08/2026: Beautiful, peaceful setting. Large terrace. We went for lunch; there was a choice of the daily menu or the "Petrocore" menu. Both were excellent. I personally chose the latter. The starter was local trout, the main course a hand-carved carpaccio of local meat—the best carpaccio I've ever had. Even the after-dinner drink was local! Thank you to the owner for explaining the dishes when we were served and also for his good humor. Even though it's a bit far for us, we'll be back.
