21/07/2026: The welcome was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The only slight drawback was the restaurant's location on the roadside. It's also a shame that the chicken nuggets weren't homemade.

21/07/2026: Service was too slow; arrived at 7:30 PM. Drinks were served at 8:00 PM. Appetizers arrived at 8:40 PM. At 9:10 PM, still no main courses.

25/07/2026: We arrived at 8:20 PM with a 1-year-old baby and two 10-year-olds, and you refused to serve us. It's a disgrace! 😡😡😡 We would have waited for a table to become available, even though the two people who arrived at the same time as us told you to wait. The least you could have done was ask if we were willing to wait. Do we have to arrive at 6:00 PM to get a table? If you don't want to work, just close in the evening and go to bed very early. Shame on you again! 😡😡😡

05/05/2026: We were lucky enough to have lunch on the terrace at the beginning of spring; the special Easter menu was delicious. The welcome was warm and we ate very well.

09/06/2026: So, it's been almost a year. We decided to book La Chartreuse du Bignac for our wedding. It was a natural progression for us, since the proposal took place in this breathtaking setting. For the past year, La Chartreuse has been with us every step of the way, helping us choose the menu, the wines, and organizing everything. The big day was on June 6th, with exclusive use of the estate so our guests could extend the celebration. This weekend was unforgettable for everyone, from the planning to the culinary delights. Everything was wonderful, from the cocktail hour to the meal, and even breakfast. Thank you to Jean Twari and his team for the culinary creations, thank you to Marina Arfeuille for the organization and her support, thank you to Pauline Lavignerie and Bastien for the service in the rooms. Thank you to the entire team at La Chartreuse. For a truly unique and unforgettable experience, I highly recommend this estate; it's simply perfect.

25/05/2026: An authentic country house, renovated with great care and taste. The ideal place for a charming and very relaxing stay, whether by the pool overlooking the surrounding hills, in the shade of the chestnut trees or on the terrace of the excellent restaurant.

29/07/2026: We ate there evening of Monday 27th July, group of 6 with our dog. We were inside and very warmly welcomed (including doggo). Food was excellent the duck parmentier being the favourite! It's very reasonable, great food attentive service... great to be on the terrace if possible. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

28/07/2026: Very nice. We were looking for a restaurant but not many were open. We saw the sign and thought, why not? It looked lovely from the outside, and the service was good and friendly. We loved the duck Parmentier. I recommend making a reservation and going there 👍

28/06/2026: One of the best restaurants we've ever been to! This small, gourmet restaurant is ideal for a romantic dinner for two. The dishes are flavorful, refined, and offer excellent taste. We were delighted from start to finish, with generous portions that more than satisfied us. We also appreciated the selection of several types of bread offered by the server, as well as the numerous amuse-bouches served throughout the meal—a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more enjoyable. The dishes are beautifully prepared, and the quality of the ingredients is impeccable. The staff is very pleasant, attentive, and takes excellent care of the guests. We will definitely be back regularly.

23/06/2026: The food was very good, but the waiter ripped us off, selling us a set menu and still charging us for everything separately. Furthermore, the service was inattentive; the table was emptied and not cleaned up after clearing, etc. We won't be going back and can't recommend it. 😒

The ingredients were clearly high-quality, the cooking was expertly executed, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Each dish demonstrated true expertise and a genuine desire to please the customers. The presentation was refined without being pretentious, allowing the essential element—the taste—to take center stage. The value for money deserves special mention. At a time when some establishments charge high prices without always justifying them, Le Corgnacois offers generous, refined, and authentic cuisine at a very reasonable price. What also stands out is the attention to detail and the consistent quality. You can feel a true passion for the craft, both in the kitchen and in the dining room. Unlike some establishments that rely on their reputation, here everything seems designed to ensure each customer has a wonderful experience and wants to return. It's no surprise, then, that this restaurant enjoys such a stellar reputation. After our lunch, we completely understand the excellent reviews it receives. We wholeheartedly recommend this place, and it's well worth a visit. We will gladly return.
