31/05/2026: I organized a surprise dinner for my wife, and Julien was fantastic in playing along. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful setting with a lovely terrace. The dishes were both beautiful and delicious, the service impeccable, and Julien took excellent care of us. I highly recommend this restaurant for everything: the location, the food, and the owner and his team! Top-notch!

29/05/2026: What a wonderful setting for lunch. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the menu was varied and the quality of the food was outstanding. If you are in this part of France and are looking for something special, this is the place to eat. I'd recommend booking your table.

14/07/2026: 35 euros for three lettuce leaves, a spoonful of lentils, and a few pieces of gizzard, not even seasoned, followed by duck confit served with reheated potatoes (nothing like the picture of the dish), two scoops of ice cream for dessert or a small bowl of strawberries with sugar. Add a bottle of wine, an aperitif, and a coffee... 50 euros per person... and for that price, not even air conditioning... seriously, a tourist trap, avoid it.

08/07/2026: The best meal we had in France. Sebastian and his wife (the restaurant owners) treated us like we were in their own home. The food was incredible. A small menu with seasonal ingredients ensured that everything was prepared fresh. And very well-priced!

22/07/2026: A hidden gem in the heart of Périgueux's old town. A discreet stone facade. As soon as you step inside, the original cuisine captivates you and takes you on a journey with familiar ingredients, but when they appear on your plate, they are elevated to new heights. A complete success. I highly recommend the house cocktail made with prosecco, cognac, lemon, etc... After that, the world seems a better place. Go for it!

18/07/2026: We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, which we recently discovered. We enjoyed a meal on the covered patio. The decor is lovely. The food and service were excellent. We were looking for a good restaurant to end our vacation and we weren't disappointed. The little extra that makes all the difference for me: the patio is non-smoking. As a non-smoker, I'm always forced to ask for a table inside to avoid being bothered by cigarette smoke during my meal, and therefore can rarely enjoy the outdoors. This should be mandatory in all restaurants, or at the very least, there should be two clearly separate areas for smokers and non-smokers. I really appreciated this. I highly recommend this restaurant.

26/07/2026: Homemade cuisine in a unique, cave-like setting. The prices are reasonable and the staff are incredibly friendly. It's the perfect place to cool off on a hot day, and you can also visit the nearby caves to aid digestion.

The young owner of this family-run establishment is truly pleasant and welcoming. The food is carefully prepared and delicious, and the wine list delighted us. Thank you to the whole team!

05/07/2026: Hello, we had the pleasure of enjoying the bistro's cuisine at a wedding. They catered the event and delighted us with the verrines and brazier dishes during the cocktail hour, as well as the evening dinner. The brunch the following morning was absolutely enormous. We will definitely be back to enjoy the restaurant menu! 😀 I should also mention that the serving staff are incredibly friendly and always smiling! Well done to them!

03/06/2026: The rooms are excellent, very comfortable and well maintained, and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. What truly makes this hotel special, however, is the staff. They are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely care about their guests. My father has stayed here three times, and each visit has been a great experience. This time, the staff went above and beyond. My father doesn’t speak English, and in the past I would communicate with the waiters on his behalf. To our surprise, during this visit they arranged a menu in Albanian. It was such a thoughtful gesture and showed a level of care and attention that truly impressed us. I am genuinely amazed by the service and hospitality. Thank you for making my father’s stay so comfortable. Highly recommended!

09/07/2026: The food was delicious, honestly. Our wine was a bit ordinary... We were there in June, served by young hospitality/restaurant trainees who clearly didn't know all the rules. The location and the courtyard garden are charming.
