31/07/2026: Fantastic... Everything you could want when visiting this region. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the setting is lovely, and the food is delicious. The duck breast was perfect and generous, the fish was delicious, and the sweetbreads in brioche were also excellent. In short, a superb and authentic discovery, far removed from tourist traps. I highly recommend it and extend my sincere thanks to the restaurant team for this wonderful experience.

30/07/2026: We came to celebrate a family reunion, and the Rib of Beef & Concert themed evening was magical! The service was perfect (despite the crowd), the rib was cooked to perfection, and the atmosphere was festive and friendly. A place to remember for those who want to enjoy a delicious meal and have a great time ✨👌🏼

15/09/2026: ⭐ 1/5 – Extremely disappointing experience I entered Auberge l’Espérance after speaking with the bartender, who told me that the restaurant was open. I sat down, and shortly afterwards a woman came over and asked whether I had a reservation. I explained that I did not, as I had just arrived in the village. She told me that they could not serve me because the restaurant was “full”. What was difficult to understand was that both there were several empty tables, inside and outside. I even asked if I could at least order something to take away, but I was refused again. I was polite throughout the entire interaction, yet I was given no real explanation and no alternative. I cannot say for certain what the reason for the refusal was, but the way I was treated made me feel discriminated against and unwelcome. As a visitor from another country, this was an extremely unpleasant experience. If the restaurant was genuinely fully booked, I would have completely understood. But when there are empty tables, you are refused even takeaway food, and you are not given a reasonable explanation, it is difficult not to question why you were treated this way. I would not recommend this place. 11/09/2026: In a bucolic setting, a very pleasant evening on a lovely terrace, on a night of solar eclipse… But we must also mention the warm welcome, the authentic and tasteful decor, and above all, a gourmet menu (€42!) that fully satisfied our taste buds, with a special mention for the fresh duck foie gras from Périgord, chutney, and its walnut bread tuile… a delight! Finally, a big thank you to the manager, who spontaneously offered us a cognac and a glass of champagne when he realized there was a birthday in the air… a very thoughtful touch! A truly wonderful place!

20/08/2026: Excellent restaurant in the charming village of Issigeac. The dishes are cooked to perfection and the ingredients are top quality. The €50 set menu was simply perfect, accompanied by a very good Pecharmant wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Congratulations to the young couple who run this establishment.

03/06/2026: The rooms are excellent, very comfortable and well maintained, and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. What truly makes this hotel special, however, is the staff. They are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely care about their guests. My father has stayed here three times, and each visit has been a great experience. This time, the staff went above and beyond. My father doesn’t speak English, and in the past I would communicate with the waiters on his behalf. To our surprise, during this visit they arranged a menu in Albanian. It was such a thoughtful gesture and showed a level of care and attention that truly impressed us. I am genuinely amazed by the service and hospitality. Thank you for making my father’s stay so comfortable. Highly recommended!
