30/08/2024: We come regularly with the children! Value for money is great! Only downside: sometimes the waiting time for the dishes... as soon as there are people there it's a bit of a panic!

21/09/2024: Hello, very disappointed with my experience this afternoon. Yet accustomed to the pineuilh crechendo which has NOTHING TO SEE, this one the staff is unpleasant and not welcoming. They make us feel like we regret coming here. Thank you to the checkout teams who gave back despite everything, especially Hugo for his warm welcome.

16/11/2024: The first time I've been disappointed with a Bistrot Régent, sincerely it doesn't live up to the brand! Friday evening 8 p.m., no more vegetarian dishes... The employees offer me a solution :) Unfortunately: cold fries and certainly recooked! Sauce not at all up to the reputation of chef Etchebest!

From the flight an interesting call menu except that the most interesting entry does not exist but is always on the slate and no one tells you when you arrive that there are no more. Dishonesty scam??? 1 hour 30 minutes of waiting to eat a confit! To complete it all: 2 desserts on the menu, one of which no longer exists

A second vaulted room which contains the oenological treasures of the restaurant is convivial for more intimate evenings. Not to be missed during a visit to old Bergerac In addition, every Friday evening you can attend a Café Théâtre show Humor emotion caricatures...

19/08/2023: Hotel very well located and with swimming pool. But it’s a shame that the reception was cold. The room is dilapidated. Flashing lights in the bathroom. 2 small lights on the walls and impossible to read in the evenings. Housekeeping more than mediocre. We were "lucky" to see how it is done: 5 minutes for everything. No washing in the shower, on the floor or on the tables. There was dirt on the table and floor when we arrived and it was still there when we left! We spent 3 days in the hotel. The trash cans in the room are not emptied and reception told us that this was normal because the cleaning lady does not empty them every day! This is the first time we've heard this in a hotel. In short, only “surprises”.

19/11/2025: The restaurant, with its immense castle fireplace that warms the atmosphere, is sensational. The cuisine is made entirely with fresh, local produce that they sell at the Souillac market. The dishes are extremely generous and flavorful. There's nothing to criticize; the porcini mushroom sauce is addictive, and the strawberry sorbet and walnut ice cream are a delight. The best part is being able to take home a little bit of their exquisite products at the end of the meal by buying honey, walnut cake, rolled waffles, and so on. The place is very pleasant and peaceful, and the service is truly warm and welcoming. I recommend it to everyone, in any season, to enjoy the variety of seasonal products. A truly memorable address.

15/11/2025: We had lunch there one day; a hearty, locally sourced meal at a very good price. The service was pleasant and quick. Be careful with children on the terrace, as it's close to the road.
