30/05/2026: Terrible service! I called to reserve a table with a dog. We went to the reception desk, but no one was there. We saw the restaurant upstairs, introduced ourselves, but no one was there either. Finally, a woman greeted us, grumbling. We turned around and left. I can't comment on the food, as we didn't stay to eat!

30/06/2026: As soon as you arrive near this establishment, nestled in the countryside, you can't help but be struck by its magic. Lush greenery abounds and is meticulously maintained (for the needs of the golf course, among other things). A large pond has provided a home for a family of Canada geese, and the historic buildings boast exquisite architecture. This privileged location exudes tranquility. After a short walk from the parking lot, we strolled past a good portion of the buildings to reach the restaurant entrance. The welcome was impeccable. We discovered a large, bright dining room lined with bay windows, offering ample space between the tables. Throughout the meal, the service was exceptionally professional, flawless, and discreet, befitting the Michelin star it has held for many years. The pace of the service was perfect. We opted for the seven-course tasting menu, which also included the welcome bites, amuse-bouche, petits fours, and the small homemade chocolate served with coffee. Not forgetting to mention that the seventh course, dessert, consists of a pre-dessert and the dessert itself. With each course, a new work of art is presented to our eyes and then our palates. This menu is simply phenomenal. But how could we not highlight one of the chef's signature dishes, the "oyster...caviar" combination? A pure marvel, freshness, texture, exceptional flavors—this dish alone is worth the trip. We experienced a truly great gastronomic moment. Bravo and thank you, Chef, and to your team.

12/07/2026: A delightful place but a poor experience as the waitress accidentally spilled an entire beer all over my daughter, she eventually brought a towel but we were charged full price with no acknowledgment of the inconvenience and the head waiter seemed entirely indifferent. A real shame.

23/05/2026: We're regulars during the week and very satisfied, but we went on a Sunday. We were VERY disappointed. Very expensive for meat that wasn't cooked enough. Very poor value for money on weekends. And on top of that, they charge you 3 euros for butter to go with the bread. You don't expect that when you spend over 100 euros for 4 people... The waitress was very friendly. We won't be going back on weekends.

27/06/2026: We wanted to try this restaurant with the new owners, as we had previously dined there under the old ones. The decor is largely the same, though it has been repainted. The terrace is still as pleasant as ever. However, a major drawback during this period of intense heat is the lack of air conditioning, which makes dining less comfortable. The real highlight of our experience was the service: the two waitresses were absolutely lovely, smiling, and pleasant from beginning to end. As for the menu, we found it rather difficult to understand. Furthermore, the prices aren't displayed very clearly. It would be better if they were more easily identifiable, both at the restaurant entrance and on the menu itself, so that customers know exactly what to expect. As for the food, we were rather disappointed by the pizzas. The cheese calzone was really bland, and the country ham on the large pizzas was far too salty for our taste. Honestly, we've had much better pizza elsewhere. On the other hand, the tiramisu was excellent, a really pleasant surprise. In short, the big positives were the waitresses and the tiramisu. As for the rest, especially the pizzas and the readability of the menu, we left quite disappointed.

25/05/2026: The only one to welcome us, and in good spirits, even though it was 2 pm. Great atmosphere, excellent meal on the magnificent terrace overlooking the Drone. Beautiful place, I recommend it.

24/05/2026: The local dishes were excellent, generous portions, and prepared with quality ingredients. The riverside setting is truly delightful and adds to the restaurant's charm. We visited at the end of May, so just at the beginning of the season, which makes the situation all the more surprising. Despite a large staff, the service seemed very disorganized: several different servers for our table, orders taken out of order, desserts forgotten… The atmosphere in the dining room was quite tense, with shouting exchanges between servers in the middle of the customers, and even remarks from the owner made in front of everyone. With such disorganization, it was unfortunately almost inevitable that there would also be problems with the bill… and indeed there were: some dishes were charged multiple times, items were missed, corrections had to be made, etc. You can tell the staff is doing their best and running around everywhere, but the lack of coordination clearly detracts from the experience. It's a shame, because the quality of the food truly deserves better.

01/07/2026: A group of Bretons on holiday in Sarlat. We were out for a stroll on market day. A cheesemonger named Robert recommended this restaurant. We weren't disappointed at all; the dishes were typical of the region. We received a warm welcome and had a wonderful meal.

21/06/2026: The previous reviews were so good that I thought I'd gone to the wrong restaurant. Either they'd recently changed chefs, or he was absent that day. In any case, we had our doubts about the "homemade" aspect (which they don't even claim). For example, my wife's duck parmentier arrived cold, and there wasn't much duck in it. As for me, the pork anchaud (I admit, I didn't know it was eaten cold) had no flavor; one piece was lukewarm, and the other was so cold it seemed like it had been frozen and not heated enough (which would explain the lukewarmness of the first piece). On the other hand, the terrace is pleasant.
