10/12/2025: The first thing I want to highlight is the service, which was outstanding. Even though we didn't speak the same language and it took us a little while to understand each other, the staff were absolutely lovely, patient, and helpful. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome! Those gestures are worth their weight in gold and make you feel welcome instantly. What's more, we arrived at a busy time, without a reservation, just before the kitchen closed, and they still kindly made room for us and served us a meal. A truly thoughtful touch that we greatly appreciated! Our bill came to about €22 each.

16/08/2024: Very good restaurant, very friendly servers and excellent food! For the children, half rump steak and homemade fries, they loved it! Lasagna and Périgord salad for us, no complaints.

15/11/2024: Being housed in lodges with complicated access, lack of lights in the aisles, slippery exterior stairs due to the presence of moss. Forced to park in front of the restaurant because the parking spaces reserved for us were occupied by restaurant customers. Other than that, very nice experience.

21/06/2025: We came several times last year during our vacation and decided to come back again this year! We asked if it was possible to pay and come back to pick up our pastries an hour later because of the heat. The lady replied no. We told her we'd come back later. She suddenly got angry, saying we weren't patient, that we could wait 5 minutes even though we had kindly offered to come back. So we'll go pick up our dessert from someone else. You shouldn't be a salesperson if you can't stand customers!

03/12/2024: Disappointed by this restaurant, despite a competent waitress. I find the prices of starters and dishes a little too high (10 euros for eggs and mayonnaise.....). To start with a shandy as an aperitif for 4 euros, given the details of the bill I would have done better to take a tap which was 3 euros... anyway. To continue I take a Savoyard pizza and given the comments on this restaurant I was expecting a better topping which I found good but very far from being plentiful and what's more was on a tomato base, I was expecting a cream base fresh for a Savoyard.

17/11/2024: Beautiful varied menu meat fish pizza and pasta. Impressed by the Milanese escalope. Warm welcome which compensates for the coolness inside the restaurant. I recommend

29/04/2025: Meal this lunchtime, nothing to say about the cuisine, the prices are on the high range, the service borrowed to say the least.. A parasol blows away in the wind the waiter will answer, we don't have time to manage that...

06/12/2025: We came to visit the Périgord aquarium, and we won't hide the fact that we were a little disappointed by the somewhat dirty aquariums. The only thing we really liked was the presentation by the alligator keeper, a professional, extremely kind person who answered many questions from both children and adults. I would advise you to keep this person in mind; I can't remember his name, but he was truly a wonderful person. Thank you again for letting us pet the alligators.

27/11/2025: A small aquarium, ideal for children. The price is a bit high, but the fact that there aren't any other aquariums nearby might explain it. The activities are fun.

12/10/2025: A beautiful terrace at Beurre de l'Eau in the heart of Brantome. A beautiful sunny day, delicious and tasty dishes, and a delicious dessert. The staff were super welcoming and friendly. One small drawback: the two scoops of ice cream cost €8 and the homemade French toast cost €9.
