25/05/2026: The only one to welcome us, and in good spirits, even though it was 2 pm. Great atmosphere, excellent meal on the magnificent terrace overlooking the Drone. Beautiful place, I recommend it.

24/05/2026: The local dishes were excellent, generous portions, and prepared with quality ingredients. The riverside setting is truly delightful and adds to the restaurant's charm. We visited at the end of May, so just at the beginning of the season, which makes the situation all the more surprising. Despite a large staff, the service seemed very disorganized: several different servers for our table, orders taken out of order, desserts forgotten… The atmosphere in the dining room was quite tense, with shouting exchanges between servers in the middle of the customers, and even remarks from the owner made in front of everyone. With such disorganization, it was unfortunately almost inevitable that there would also be problems with the bill… and indeed there were: some dishes were charged multiple times, items were missed, corrections had to be made, etc. You can tell the staff is doing their best and running around everywhere, but the lack of coordination clearly detracts from the experience. It's a shame, because the quality of the food truly deserves better.

24/05/2026: Disappointed by the menu, which only offered one salad (burrata) for a week of predicted heatwave! And a menu that promised others on the website... we went to eat it elsewhere.

23/05/2026: A very pleasant place with a varied menu. We had the enchaud, the sea bass ravioli and the burrata, it was very good.

17/04/2026: Passing through to adopt our puppy, we stopped for lunch beforehand. Despite it being a bit late, we were seated outside in glorious sunshine. Excellent meal with impeccable service. Exceptional value for money. Highly recommended! 👍

13/04/2026: Good value for money with a daily special at €13. The only downside is serving jarred asparagus during peak season; it would be better to refrain from doing so or at least mention it. It's a real shame... The carbonnade, however, was very good; that was excellent. It was very cold inside (not much different from outside). The service was good and quick. At lunchtime, there's no menu, only a set menu (choice of two starters, one main course, and two desserts).

26/02/2026: This place serves delicious Périgord products, mostly pastries, as it's a tea room. The "café gourmand" (gourmet coffee) is a true gourmet experience, featuring treats made by the local baker. The service is provided by a vibrant and lively employee with a charming, chatty personality and a delightful southern French cheerfulness! I highly recommend this place!

31/05/2026: Mother's Day meal. 11 people. A wonderful discovery. The portions were generous and the ingredients were of high quality. Beautiful setting. The staff was welcoming and professional. The chef was very friendly and excellent. Thank you for this wonderful experience; we all enjoyed it.

16/05/2026: We had a short one-night stay at this place. We encountered a very pleasant young woman at the campsite reception, but the other people we saw afterward were less friendly. The pool was advertised as heated online, but it wasn't, and this wasn't mentioned at all when we booked. I called the restaurant to ask if they served snacks for children, and the man who answered me rather rudely, telling me they didn't do that at all, as if it were perfectly normal. The children's play equipment is old and poorly maintained. The accommodation was cute, but the quality of the beds was awful; we felt like we were sleeping on wooden planks! However, the restaurant deserves a 10/10. We had a wonderful evening and the food was excellent. The woman who ran the restaurant is fabulous and always smiling.

Axel, who excels in the flavor and variety of his homemade dishes, the head waiter Pierre, with his rigor, presence, and affability, and the attentive manager... A true team effort whose result inevitably leads to an exceptional dinner combining gustatory and olfactory pleasures, all in a setting that, at first glance, seems unpretentious for a 2-star establishment... but no matter, the alchemy of all this simplicity and professionalism truly, sincerely, allows us to spend a timeless moment enjoying our meals! Back on solid ground... come in, enjoy, share, and correct me if my exaggerated descriptions don't match your taste buds. Enjoy without moderation! 17/04/2026: This hotel is truly picturesque and peaceful. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers a very appealing and truly delicious menu.

15/04/2026: We stayed in a standard room for €72. It was adequate, with a kettle, tea, coffee, and sugar. The TV screen was a good size. Reception hours were limited, hence the 3 stars for service. I'd like to respond to your reply. Sophie and I stayed on Saturday, April 11th, on the 2nd floor. Please don't spread misinformation when our experience was quite positive.

17/03/2026: A small, convenient, family-run hotel with good rates. The beds are comfortable, the staff welcoming, and the breakfast buffet perfectly adequate. However, the rooms are quite noisy, especially the doors, so be prepared to wake up early! The restaurant is quite good, with very reasonable prices.
