01/01/2026: Very good, but not enough staff to serve everyone they had at lunchtime on December 25th. Best of luck to them. However, it was very good.

08/12/2025: This is my second visit and I'm always very well received. The rooms are very comfortable and the manager is incredibly attentive. I'm vegan and the chef always prepares a delicious meal for me! I can't wait to come back!

27/09/2024: Magnifique endroit bucolique, accueil agréable, mets délicats, sublimes.. Une belle découverte sur tous les plans quant au menu de la burrata de chèvre, en passant par au pavé de lieu sur son lit coco et le fondant au chocolat accompagné de pistaches ;quel régal des papilles... Bravo et merci au chef , à toute l'équipe pour ce moment harmonieux que vous nous offrez en partage ..Il n'y a que de l'amour dans tous ces actes... Merci infiniment, à bientôt avec plaisir.. 12/10/2025: A beautiful terrace at Beurre de l'Eau in the heart of Brantome. A beautiful sunny day, delicious and tasty dishes, and a delicious dessert. The staff were super welcoming and friendly. One small drawback: the two scoops of ice cream cost €8 and the homemade French toast cost €9.

19/12/2025: Voted the 3rd best bakery in the Dordogne. This highly honorable ranking is very well deserved, given the strong competition. It's worth noting that those involved were unaware of this ranking until now. Congratulations to the bakers, pastry chefs, and sales staff.

17/12/2025: I'm giving it zero stars. I bought a Paris-Brest for 4 euros, and in my opinion, that's expensive for a stick of margarine. It's sickening; the margarine taste is way too strong. I would have preferred a praline mousseline cream, like they make these days, instead of a pint of hazelnut fat. Disgusting.

18/09/2025: Pretty, inviting, restaurant by the cathedral. Proprietor very welcoming even almost at close of day. Served four adults with superbly prepared fresh dishes, despite at their closing hour we were not rushed, indeed encouraged to enjoy the moment. We discovered the owner has a restaurant in Bergerac too, directly by the Cyrano statue. Thankyou for superb service, food and kindly generosity.

13/09/2025: I had an amazing experience at this restaurant, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the hospitable staff and owner. They kindly showed us how to make crepes, generously adding a large portion of Nutella and Chantilly cream for us to share. The omelette aux cèpes was fantastic, and both the salad and pizza were spot on! Highly recommend this place for its warm atmosphere and delicious food.

06/12/2024: No response to my hello. Cold reception. Bland raclette pancake with crunchy potatoes. I cleaned the table I ate lunch on myself. In short, not twice.

03/01/2026: We ate there for New Year's Eve. A very elegant meal with high-quality ingredients, and very pleasant service. A special shout-out to the waiter who made the vinaigrette! 😂😂 I recommend it.

01/11/2025: We were half an hour late, and the owner squeezed us into a small table for two near the entrance and pointed out that we were half an hour late! Two customers arrived who wanted to eat outside, and the owner told them it would be an extra charge at a table for four that was already set, and no one was outside! I've never heard of such a thing. The food was decent. The duck breast was burnt on one side. To pay, we had to go to the bar. I won't be back.

27/09/2025: Meal for two, frankly disappointed, I don't often go to restaurants, this is a restaurant I'll never set foot in again. It's time to match the menu on your site, which is different from that of Google itself, which is different from the menu presented on site. The starter was €17 for a slice of foie gras 4cm in diameter and not even 1cm thick. More salad and frills than what you actually eat. A dish served cold with barely cooked vegetables, a ratatouille, three pieces of uncooked zucchini on the plate, the sauce served cold like the rest. It's unfortunate to pay €83 for a meal to not even eat enough and eat cold without enjoying it, which is a shame, knowing that I don't eat much as a basic meal, that's saying something, and I'm not even talking about the layout of the tables, which means that throughout the meal, the waitresses and customers just kept banging their heads in my chair. I can't wait to go home and make myself something to eat so I can be satisfied.

06/12/2025: We came to visit the Périgord aquarium, and we won't hide the fact that we were a little disappointed by the somewhat dirty aquariums. The only thing we really liked was the presentation by the alligator keeper, a professional, extremely kind person who answered many questions from both children and adults. I would advise you to keep this person in mind; I can't remember his name, but he was truly a wonderful person. Thank you again for letting us pet the alligators.

27/11/2025: A small aquarium, ideal for children. The price is a bit high, but the fact that there aren't any other aquariums nearby might explain it. The activities are fun.
