19/05/2026: The restaurant was run by one man who happily allowed me to practice my French. He was kind and spoke English as well. He also gave me a cookie on the house! Bathroom was clean and spacious. The sandwiches were the best I had on my trip! Well worth the visit! I would come back again! My picture does not do this restaurant justice!

17/09/2025: A great place to stop for lunch after visiting the market. Between us, we had omelette, mussels, chicken and beef burgers, and we all enjoyed our meals. We sat in the barn, out the back. Prices are very good, about 16 Euros each without alcoholic drinks. Thoroughly recommended.

16/05/2026: At the entrance to Périgueux, a verdant oasis with a very large pond. Peaceful yet only 5 minutes from the major shopping centers. Spacious room with a superb view of the pond and park, lovely staff. Restaurant by the water. Don't hesitate!

27/06/2026: We wanted to try this restaurant with the new owners, as we had previously dined there under the old ones. The decor is largely the same, though it has been repainted. The terrace is still as pleasant as ever. However, a major drawback during this period of intense heat is the lack of air conditioning, which makes dining less comfortable. The real highlight of our experience was the service: the two waitresses were absolutely lovely, smiling, and pleasant from beginning to end. As for the menu, we found it rather difficult to understand. Furthermore, the prices aren't displayed very clearly. It would be better if they were more easily identifiable, both at the restaurant entrance and on the menu itself, so that customers know exactly what to expect. As for the food, we were rather disappointed by the pizzas. The cheese calzone was really bland, and the country ham on the large pizzas was far too salty for our taste. Honestly, we've had much better pizza elsewhere. On the other hand, the tiramisu was excellent, a really pleasant surprise. In short, the big positives were the waitresses and the tiramisu. As for the rest, especially the pizzas and the readability of the menu, we left quite disappointed.

19/08/2026: Surprisingly, you pay before you've even eaten anything. The waitress wasn't pleasant at all...you get the feeling you're bothering her. €4.50 for a chocolate is quite a lot. This isn't the Champs-Élysées...

22/08/2026: Terrible experience. Mugs, plates, jug, and spoons were disgustingly dirty: my mug was stained with someone's lipstick, it felt as if none of it had been washed. We had 2 lattes and 2 store-bought muffins for 19€, which felt like a scam given the quality of what was served as well as the state of the kitchen area.
