13/09/2024: Lunch after the Thursday market in Lilande. The menu du jour was good food and good value. The pression is a bit expensive, but overall tasty food and a very pleasant experience.

I recommend.
11/12/2024: Friendly server. Few options during the week, only the omelette if you don't eat meat. Bad dish of the day: overcooked chicken, hard white beans, lack of taste. A real disappointment. In addition, we are attacked by the boss for daring to ask what was on the menu. Visit not to be repeated.
Besides, we only came there because the good restaurant next door was closed. Really a shame!

Soyez poli en disant Bonjour à la serveuse aux cheveux noir, sinon elle ne manquera pas de vous le rappeler ( petite remarque à cette dernière : avec le sourire svp, ça passe mieux, le respect, c'est dans les deux sens).
Nous avons pris deux salades. Rapport qualité-prix honnête.
27/08/2024: horrifying Room and dining room dirty and full of spiders and dust. It's not even a 2-star hotel, it doesn't have air conditioning, just 1 fan. The closet is not a closet. The WC in the room without a door, with a dirty fabric curtain. Noises from adjoining rooms and corridors and stairs. The hotel service is rude and only speaks and wants to understand French until you speak in an angry tone with your language they don't lower themselves...

21/09/2024: Service très lent. Réflexion entendue à la table voisine : "je me demande s'il s'agit d'une entrée plutôt qu'un plat"...
Et en effet : on reçoit un saucisse de canard qui fait maximum 10 cm, qui plus est : elle est calcinée ! Quelle honte pour le Périgord qui est pourtant réputé pour sa bonne chaire...
Au moment de payer, je m'attends ce que la patronne demande si tout s'est bien passé, sur quoi j'aurais mis un bémol. Que nenni, elle connaît trop bien son établissement !

04/09/2024: Our new go to spot - great honest food - lovely staff - dog friendly - nice price - partially in the open air so wrap up on a cool night.
29/08/2024: We sat down and asked for a table at 6.30pm but were told it was fully booked all evening despite being almost empty at that point and no reserved signs. We asked if we could just stay for a drink but they said only for 20 ‘
minutes..an hour later we were still finishing off our drinks and there were still most tables available. We asked again if we could stay to eat but were told no. The waiter was very brusque and impolite and it was clear that we were just not wanted, perhaps they only take booked reservations but we still felt it was very rude the way they spoke and dealt with us. As we passed there again about half an hour later the table we were at was still empty. Would not come again.

03/09/2024: Bonjour étant en vacances à Brantome nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce restaurant pour le repas du soir, nous avons été accueillis agréablement bien le service au petit soin les plats sont délicieux et copieux. Si vous passez par Brantome je vous recommande ce restaurant sans hésiter vous ne serez pas déçu.

Et quel dommage cet accueil .. une succession de remarques sur un ton pas très cool . C est dommage avec un plus de sympathie nous serions revenus .
