10/09/2026: To avoid ending on a sour note, we came back and this time it was excellent.

09/09/2026: Fantastic restaurant, we had a wonderful meal! 😍 The ingredients are fresh, everything is truly excellent, and you can tell it's homemade. The staff and manager are lovely and very welcoming, and the atmosphere is really pleasant. We had a great time! I highly recommend it, and we'll definitely be back!

01/08/2026: We found this by chance as I was inspecting the menu when the chef himself told me the restaurant was excellent. My wife and I ate here for our 50th wedding anniversary. It didn't disappoint. Food was very tasty, well presented and served in a timely fashion. We were not pressed or pressured to go faster. All in all an excellent experience.

01/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! This restaurant is right in the heart of Sarlat. The food is excellent, the portions are generous, and you won't leave hungry. Thank you to the owners and staff, who are very welcoming and friendly. Don't miss it; you won't be disappointed, unlike the usual tourist traps. I highly recommend it.

24/07/2026: We used this place as a stop over in motorhome. Very nice person in the bar area, spoke English and prices not too bad If we were in the area again we would ask to stop again. So thank you

01/06/2026: I only went to the restaurant. The menu, written on a chalkboard, listed the starters and main courses: pan-seared foie gras escalopes and rack of lamb with a herb crust. Everything was very good! The only downside was that the side dishes weren't listed, and when I asked about one of them (mashed potatoes with small green pieces, served with the lamb), the waitress didn't know and had to find out. Despite two reminders, we never received an answer! That's why I'm deducting stars.

06/08/2026: A very pleasant place to stop after a day of sightseeing, whether for a drink or a delicious pizza. And the staff are very welcoming and attentive.

25/06/2026: Friendly welcome from the staff, and really good coffee at this lovely bar frequented by locals and visitors. Outside seating in the shade, with water vapour, made it a great little oasis during France’s hottest ever weather. A perfect stop for cyclists because, even though they don’t serve cakes / viennoiseries, they don’t mind if you get one from the bakery opposite (which is fantastic!) to enjoy with your coffee.

07/07/2026: A truly wonderful experience at lunchtime at Le Meysset restaurant. The service was impeccable and attentive. The refined dishes were served on elegant and varied tableware. The food is worthy of a Michelin star, or at the very least, a Michelin-starred recommendation. I highly recommend it.

08/08/2026: A fantastic spot in Bergerac! The salads, wraps, and sandwiches are fresh, delicious, and very generously filled. The desserts are also excellent, with plenty of choice. I highly recommend it! ☺️

26/07/2026: We came for lunch as a group of five while visiting the city. Despite the late hour, we were greeted by friendly and smiling staff. Our meals were quite filling and reasonably priced. We ate outside, which was pleasant.

13/08/2026: Diner super bon, un menu de 5 plats/ courses including a drink: soup of peas with caviar de Neuvic, foie gras poulet, langoustines with peanuts oil from moulin de veyssiere, veau with potatoes, pistachio cake with ice cream and fresh strawberries. Excellent taste, service and value for money. Loved it 😍

03/08/2026: Family lunch: a disappointment as it was rather unrefined, with no set menus or dessert buffet at this time of year. A bowl of tomatoes with burrata for €18, with absolutely no preparation whatsoever 😫 What a shame, because the setting is beautiful. Perhaps the cuisine should be more refined to better suit the location.

26/06/2026: We found the hotel very good; the person in charge was very kind, friendly, and accommodating. Due to personal reasons, we had to stay in Belves three times. We were very happy with our first night, so we returned the other two times. Its location is excellent, and parking was relatively easy, at least in June when we were there. I recommend it.

31/07/2026: We had a wonderful time! I often go to traditional pubs in the north of France, and we stumbled upon this very welcoming family-run restaurant. The food was top-notch, with generous portions and a real sense of homemade quality (rare these days!). Their ham hock was fantastic 👍, as were the other dishes. And the service was excellent too 😎. I had a great time; it had been a long time since I'd enjoyed a good restaurant. Thank you to the owners!

16/08/2026: Excellent products. We had brunch, good value for money. Very good scones, perfectly cooked pancakes, and the salmon and avocado tartine was delicious. Pleasant atmosphere. Worth trying!

02/08/2026: Excellent restaurant! I had my wedding meal there 9 years ago and it's still the best in Bergerac, always very, very good. I highly recommend it. Thank you, Villa Laetitia. I returned this Sunday, August 2nd, 2026. It now has a bed and breakfast, and is no longer a shop. For brunch, it was excellent and plentiful, and the dessert was very good. I recommend it.

15/08/2026: We just spent a wonderful week in this large group gîte. Plenty of space both inside and out. The gîte was clean and functional. The owners are lovely. See you next year!

10/08/2026: Fantastic transformation of a hotel into a group gîte! We spent a week with 14 people at Katia's gîte, and everything was perfect! The gîte is spacious, each bedroom is very well soundproofed with quality bedding, air conditioning, a bathroom, and a toilet. The common areas are very pleasant. The large swimming pool was a hit with both children and adults, as was the large grounds that the children were able to explore! Katia is responsive, accommodating, and very friendly. The location is ideal for exploring the various activities offered in the Dordogne. We will definitely be back!

29/07/2026: I've lived in Vergt for a year now. After a night out, we arrived late at the night market, I admit. We wanted to have a drink to cap off this wonderful evening. There were lots of people outside having drinks, and the owner, who wasn't at all customer-oriented, refused to serve us. And yet, I knew the former bakery saleswoman. She's a real idiot, and I'll never eat there again. He clearly hasn't learned anything about business. I was with my 13-year-old daughter and my partner. We just wanted a drink before going home. I'll stick with the other place; they're much more customer-friendly. Kisses 😘
