20/06/2025: Notice of name change! Co thé café "doesn't serve breakfast." At worst, we just wanted tea and coffee, but we were turned away! For those who won't read the whole summary: if you want to spend wisely, move on. Bakeries also make good coffee. For lunch, head to La Tarterie for beautiful slices of quiche; you can buy them in the morning 😉 A beautiful park nearby offers a great setting for breakfast and lunch. Madam, to err is human; sometimes we do wrong, and normally we don't get bogged down. So I'm going to respond to your dishonest and untruthful remarks. For the record, you were turning your back when we arrived; we mistook you for a customer! We didn't have time to sit down; you blurted out, "I don't do breakfast," without even a hello. The tone was set, it lasted a split second, we didn't bother to ask, and we were even a little shocked. In the end, we read that you also serve breakfast! And no, we didn't have pastries in the bags, but to find out, we should have communicated and not whined. So, after that, you have to accept the comment. Without a false response, I would have even deleted it. Obviously, some people still met the same person as us, but we understood that the lady is perfect and the others are just rude. 0 stars 🤣 For those who received a good, even warm, welcome, it's astonishing! So it smells like CBD or pills before the rush hour because she's nicer than at lunchtime, it seems! The margins are better, and that's the only thing that motivates this kind of person. It's not human contact, nor the good atmosphere of a real village café in the morning! Besides, there was no one there... we should have suspected that it was the wrong choice.

08/07/2025: Despite the pleasant setting and staff, we were very disappointed with the food, which was very sparse and served with "rancid" ingredients and bread that wasn't toasted but stale... We left very disappointed, not satisfied but rather seasoned by the bill! In short, a bad experience for us.

01/11/2024: We came 2 years ago and upon returning to Sarlat we wanted to go back. 2 times!!!. A real pleasure every time. The team at the top, without forcing everything is done so that we have a good evening. Thank you for creating real laughs and therefore wonderful memories.

The room infested with bugs that had fallen from the window frame which was filled with them... Bathroom... Very meh, not clean, warm water Breakfast served at 7am... But in fact it takes 7.20am to go to work..Inedible croissant so reheated In short I won't go back Sir, since I cannot answer you, no, my comment is not inappropriate, I would like to point out that given your kind side, I have indeed not dared to tell you what was wrong, seeing as when I told you that I was afraid of dogs and that your dog followed me everywhere you didn't bother to raise your head.. 17/10/2024: Very nice stay, I highly recommend the room was large, warm, comfortable and very well decorated! As for breakfast, it was very good and there was a lot of choice! The owner is very welcoming thank you for the week 🙂

17/08/2024: 2 stars for the kitchen because nothing justifies the price! 25€ for the Perigourdine salad because of the foie gras “supplement”… The fries are not homemade and that's a shame... Nothing to say about the service, fast and efficient and the place is rather pretty. Can do better!
