16/12/2025: It's a lovely, charming place that recently became a tea room where you feel right at home... comfortable sofas, plush armchairs that create the feeling of cozy nooks and crannies, a fireplace with a crackling fire, and excellent scones and pastries. All positive points for a pleasant time.

The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is very peaceful. I recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant break during their town tour. Away from the tourist crowds, it's a friendly place where you'll feel like a local. The service is fast, the coffee is delicious, and the prices are quite reasonable. A simple, clean, and very welcoming establishment. Great location, friendly service, and a very pleasant terrace. We stopped for a short break on our Bergerac/Dordogne route and were very pleased. It has the atmosphere of a friendly neighborhood café that reflects the spirit of the town. Definitely recommended."

15/04/2026: Edit: April 15, 2026 Hello, No, I'm not mistaken about the establishment: it is indeed Le Bureau in Boulazac. As a regular before 2020, I remember having to wait a long time, or even leave because it was so crowded. Today, barely one in three tables is occupied. The menu is being updated in early April. This is understandable, but it doesn't excuse the poor quality of the food. During the difficult Covid period, we supported the owner (JFC) through his tears on social media. 27/03/2026: Excellent welcome, the waiters and waitresses were very friendly. The duck confit was very good. The only problem was that we left smelling of fried food, which wasn't very pleasant.

22/03/2026: We spent the weekend there, and the place is always packed, so on our last day we decided to try it. The service was impeccable; they were very friendly and tried to communicate in Spanish at all times. They have a QR code with the translated menu. There's a good variety to choose from. The restroom, which is unisex, is down three steps.

11/04/2026: The room had a balcony, a coffee machine with pods, a kettle, tea bags and herbal infusions, and madeleines provided in the room – a nice touch. Dinner was available, a simple and basic menu, but it allowed guests to stay overnight.

03/04/2026: A very pleasant stay. The welcome was very warm. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts and evening meals, "just like home," were a delight. We highly recommend this establishment and will gladly return!

25/02/2026: One of the few restaurants open at the end of February, a €17.50 set menu consisting of pumpkin soup, a generous slice of homemade country pâté, cassoulet, and chocolate cake (or two scoops of ice cream). We ate it all, it was delicious! Friendly service and excellent food, highly recommended!

26/02/2026: We highly recommend this restaurant whenever we visit Sarlat. The food is homemade, the dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious, and the service is both quick and very friendly. An excellent place to enjoy a quality meal in the heart of the city, in a convivial atmosphere. We regularly recommend it to our guests.

19/11/2025: We went there on a Wednesday at lunchtime. We had a table on the terrace. It's a simple set menu, but homemade and very good. The place seems to be run by British people. A very warm welcome. The location is very pleasant, right in the center of the village with its white Dordogne stone houses. A great find! After several visits, the food is always just as good and hearty. You should also go for the British atmosphere on holidays and special events! Speaking English is a nice touch. We loved it!

22/03/2026: We opted for the five-course dinner on Saturday evening. The dining room was beautiful, the atmosphere lovely, and the meal remarkable. The dishes offered a blend of classic and original flavors. The portions were perfect, and the pace was excellent. We received outstanding service and were looked after by Pierre (a true professional!). The very young woman (Marion) who suggested the cheese trolley was also very helpful. Well done to her! Thank you to Pierre, the chef, and the entire team.

17/03/2026: Fantastic brunch last Sunday at La Verrière du Château des Reynats! We had a wonderful time. The setting is absolutely beautiful and so pleasant, a real change from the everyday. The buffet was amazing: lots of choices, fresh products, both sweet and savory. We especially loved the pastries and the dessert buffet. The staff is very friendly and attentive, which really makes a difference. In short, a great place to treat yourself on Sunday, I highly recommend it!

26/12/2025: A white-haired gentleman with glasses was incredibly rude! No greeting, nothing! He even interrupted us at the table to make snide remarks! It's Christmas, a little joy, please! I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

19/03/2026: Overall, we were disappointed by the gourmet menu we had on the 18th at lunchtime. Given the price (€88), we expected more flavor, especially in the first course (crab) and the third (veal). As the chef didn't leave his kitchen, we weren't able to discuss it with him. We like to dine at a Michelin-starred restaurant once or twice a year and are rarely disappointed, but this time we were.

03/03/2026: I came for lunch, so I can't comment on the rooms. The restaurant was excellent, with a magnificent view. The meal was absolutely wonderful and a truly delightful experience. Thank you very much.
