11/07/2026: The meals were good and plentiful, the waiters were very pleasant, a very good time

04/07/2026: Mixed feelings about this restaurant: good service and good pizza. But 15 euros for a salad served on a dessert plate with a burrata, a few arugula leaves, two cherry tomatoes, and three slices of mini cucumber... I feel a bit ripped off!

21/04/2026: The servers and food were very good. However, 5 out of 7 people at the table chose the menu advertised at €22, and to our surprise, when paying at the till, the price of the menu had increased to €26.

21/04/2026: Warning: The displayed price is incorrect. Be careful, as there will be an unpleasant surprise at the checkout! We didn't pay the same price... and on top of that, we were put in our place. The displayed price is the price you pay! So, ladies and gentlemen, check your bill carefully before paying... When we asked if some of the dishes were homemade, the waitress pretended not to understand and got offended... What?! I absolutely do not recommend this place.

31/03/2026: A wonderful family visit on Saturday afternoon with a truly exceptional welcome. Product presentations, tastings, and highlighting of specialties, all delivered with passion and kindness. The only problem... everything is delicious and it's hard to choose! Home delivery is available in vacuum-sealed packaging, and they provided explanations for storage and cooking. Everything was fantastic, thank you so much again! A must-do, and I'll definitely be back!

07/07/2026: A truly wonderful experience at lunchtime at Le Meysset restaurant. The service was impeccable and attentive. The refined dishes were served on elegant and varied tableware. The food is worthy of a Michelin star, or at the very least, a Michelin-starred recommendation. I highly recommend it.

30/06/2026: I invited my parents to the Guinguette de la Roche in Marsac this weekend, and we witnessed something quite unbelievable... What I assume to be the owner, with all the tact that seems to characterize him, loudly called out to his waiter: "Go see what the fat guys at table 17 want." The infamous table 17, a little further away, was occupied by an elderly couple. To hear that about seniors over 80 years old is simply outrageous. No respect for his elders, no respect for his customers. The waiter left with his head down, carrying out the owner's orders. Pathetic. As for the food, it was just as bad: everything was written "homemade" on the chalkboard, but it was pure reheated frozen food. Soggy, industrial fries, tasteless dishes, meat way overcooked, all for exorbitant prices... The service was just as bad: unpleasant. In short, an establishment where disrespect and bad faith reign. Between the gratuitous insults directed at elderly people and the misleading food, it's incomprehensible how this place still has any customers. We will never return and we advise everyone against it. There are much better options in the Dordogne for a peaceful evening.

22/06/2026: The place is nice, but it's expensive for the portion size. €25 for a rather small salad is excessive. The floating island dessert is frozen beforehand. It's served lukewarm, the meringue is hard, and the base is still frozen.

27/07/2026: A small roadside restaurant. A fantastic team that's working hard during this holiday period. The food was excellent. A minor complaint about the walnut tart. It was a bit dry and could have used some cream. We had a lovely time.

19/05/2026: A wonderful place of indulgence and hospitality. Delicious coffee, exceptional offerings from the chocolate shop and biscuit bakery. Highly recommended.

26/02/2026: This place serves delicious Périgord products, mostly pastries, as it's a tea room. The "café gourmand" (gourmet coffee) is a true gourmet experience, featuring treats made by the local baker. The service is provided by a vibrant and lively employee with a charming, chatty personality and a delightful southern French cheerfulness! I highly recommend this place!

26/06/2026: We found the hotel very good; the person in charge was very kind, friendly, and accommodating. Due to personal reasons, we had to stay in Belves three times. We were very happy with our first night, so we returned the other two times. Its location is excellent, and parking was relatively easy, at least in June when we were there. I recommend it.

Axel, who excels in the flavor and variety of his homemade dishes, the head waiter Pierre, with his rigor, presence, and affability, and the attentive manager... A true team effort whose result inevitably leads to an exceptional dinner combining gustatory and olfactory pleasures, all in a setting that, at first glance, seems unpretentious for a 2-star establishment... but no matter, the alchemy of all this simplicity and professionalism truly, sincerely, allows us to spend a timeless moment enjoying our meals! Back on solid ground... come in, enjoy, share, and correct me if my exaggerated descriptions don't match your taste buds. Enjoy without moderation! We'll gladly return, with our dogs, who are, incidentally, welcomed without any regard for them. Thank you, and may such an establishment allow the restaurant industry to endure and thrive. Fabien

17/04/2026: This hotel is truly picturesque and peaceful. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers a very appealing and truly delicious menu.

18/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome. The dishes offered were varied and frankly delicious. The service (provided by a young trainee) was quick and the plates were beautifully presented. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment for a wonderful meal that will leave a lasting impression.
