14/08/2026: A restaurant from my childhood, back after 25 years. The food is still as good as ever. We had a wonderful time on the terrace overlooking the Loue River. From the crispy pig's trotters to the ravioli... not forgetting the pike-perch fillet with Vin Jaune sauce... or the Black Angus ribeye steak... everything was perfect! The fried fish on the children's menu was just perfect! Thank you and see you very soon!

08/08/2026: We only ate at the restaurant, and it was a real treat! Excellent presentation, refined dishes from appetizer to dessert... A superb setting by the water, shaded and inviting. Attentive and very professional staff. Dogs are welcome. We highly recommend it.

14/08/2026: Truck stop canteen, set menu, basic food (Morteau sausage, roast pork, poultry, served with rice, fries, green beans, or sautéed potatoes). Rice reheated in the microwave (boiling hot). Simple salad or cold cuts as a starter. Limited cheese selection. Simple dessert choices that don't seem homemade. Service was friendly enough but slow: 1 hour 45 minutes for two people. The dining room was only half full. In short: bland, which makes it a bit of a long wait and a bit expensive for a canteen.

13/08/2026: Excellent restaurant offering a three-course meal (starter/main/cheese/dessert) for €18. Delicious French cuisine! The friendly and welcoming service is well worth the trip. Very clean! A great roadside restaurant.

08/08/2026: Plenty of choice in pastries, cakes, and snacks (sandwiches, salads, pizzas). I had several slices of pizza, which were very good. And always great deals.

08/08/2026: I bought 5 mini doughnuts on August 8th, which were completely unsaleable! The dough was dense, compact, and soggy, and the chocolate was poor quality. They were probably frozen because they were so bad!

02/08/2026: We had an absolutely wonderful stay. We were a group of 10 people and, from the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The welcome was incredibly warm, the hosts were lovely, always available, and did everything they could to ensure we had a fantastic time. A huge thank you also for the activities offered! Caving and the via ferrata were absolute highlights. Our guide is truly passionate; he shares his love of the region with great humor and enthusiasm, which makes the experience even more memorable. As for the food, it was flawless: generous, hearty, and delicious. It was impossible to leave hungry! We leave with wonderful memories and will gladly return. I highly recommend it!

Quality, quantity, expertise, and a warm welcome are evident every day in this tavern where workers love to take a relaxing break, and where older folks enjoy gathering for an aperitif. A truly great village restaurant. We love it and always return with great pleasure. Thank you to Laurette and Didier.

14/05/2026: We waited 30 minutes for the bald man to come and greet us, speaking to us very rudely. Very unpleasant.

25/03/2026: I wanted to thank the restaurant for the delicious results. If you'd like to try this restaurant, don't hesitate.

04/05/2026: After the fourth rib steak, the cut deteriorated significantly, with a huge bone visible on the third and fourth occasions. I must also mention the disgusting frozen matchstick fries. Homemade fries are much better elsewhere. Beware of the takeaway pizzas; they infuriated me. My neighbor had one at his table that was supposed to be a pizza, but it was very wobbly in the box. When I opened it, I found a pizza barely bigger than a dessert plate. I felt insulted, and despite having paid for it, I angrily abandoned it on a high chair. They shamelessly rip you off. I advise everyone against going to L'Olivier. Go somewhere else, even to the neighbor's place, which is renowned for its pizzas. L'Olivier is absolutely to be avoided.

24/12/2025: What a welcome! We were very warmly welcomed by the owner. A group of about ten of us stayed for a short family holiday. The rooms were clean, and the hotel was spotless. We will gladly return. If everyone were as welcoming as you, life would be so much more pleasant. Well done!

09/11/2025: We stayed just one night in this charming little hotel in Jougne. I could have given it 5 stars just for the absolutely delightful welcome, but that was without taking into account the absolutely perfect breakfast we were treated to. I wasn't expecting a breakfast of this quality; it was worthy of a 4-star hotel, both in terms of quality and quantity. You can feel the owner's generosity and desire to do things well. A big thank you for your warm welcome and kindness.
