27/04/2026: A wonderful time spent at Maison Bertrand. The setting is superb, both elegant and welcoming, with a timeless charm reminiscent of beautiful traditional homes. You immediately feel at home. The cuisine is perfectly executed, generous, and full of flavor, with high-quality ingredients showcased to perfection. Special mention goes to the remarkable wine list, thoughtfully curated and offering some truly excellent selections. But beyond the food, it's also the warm welcome, the service, and that genuine "old-school class" that make all the difference. A place you'll enjoy returning to, and one I recommend without hesitation. I hope the Michelin Guide will be more generous, as the two stars are well-deserved.

18/05/2026: Excellent restaurant, the chef's cuisine is a delight, the ingredients are top quality. Finally, a perfectly seasoned steak tartare—no need for Tabasco! The Périgord salad with duck gizzards is delicious. As for the chocolate mousse with Espelette pepper made by Madame, it's on par with Monsieur's cooking—delicately flavorful! An intimate setting, extremely professional, friendly, and experienced service, presentation and cuisine that become a truly divine culinary experience. We came on Saturday at lunchtime, we ate in the shop area, and we absolutely loved it. Nothing to complain about... This restaurant is truly a benchmark, even THE restaurant to visit if you're in Montélimar. Thank you a thousand times for everything, it was a real pleasure, see you VERY soon ☺️

01/06/2026: Disappointing… There were four of us for a meal with friends, and we ordered two set menus and two main courses. The wines with the tapas were very average, the red wine was served warm, and the white wine was beyond words, simply poured out onto the plants. The razor clams clearly came straight from the sea, judging by the amount of sand they were in. The red wine sauce for the sliced ​​meat was extremely bitter and far too reduced (the pieces of meat were enormous for a sliced ​​dish). Not to mention the experience of tasting a soggy French toast; a rum baba or floating island brioche would have been more appropriate. And as for hygiene, thanks for the mold on the water carafe's stopper—it certainly puts off both thirst and appetite…

A small buffet of cold cuts and a few salads, followed by a main course of herb ravioli and dessert. Wine was served in a large plastic pitcher. Simple, but adequate for a quick meal. Parking nearby for the bus.

The waitress, with her earbuds in, held out her hand for us to pass her the plates. My friend had her child in her hands, and we had to stop talking to pass her the dishes, even though she had plenty of room to walk around. Completely unprofessional.
