20/08/2026: Avoid this place! The staff is unfriendly and refuses to serve you at 1 p.m. because "the kitchens are cleaned, so there's no way we're going to get them dirty again." So, in the end, we were stuck eating pre-made paninis. Honestly, what a huge disappointment. Furthermore, the restrooms are poorly laid out because the regular toilets and urinals aren't separated.

14/08/2026: Village bar/snack bar, always the same crowd, drinking to excess, often closed at the moment, unpleasant owner, good luck to the next one, very disappointed, very long time

21/08/2026: Good meal, late service (unusually for us Alsatians)... Irish coffee available upon request. Excellent meals for adults and children.

08/07/2026: We were customers of the previous owner. We were always delighted, but this time! Extremely disappointed: the frogs' legs were tasteless and had no sauce. The green salad was watery. There was absolutely no decor, etc... in short, nothing special. The only two positive points were the friendliness of the young waitress and the fantastic location.

21/05/2026: We had a wonderful evening. The setting was exceptional, and our dinner was accompanied by birdsong and the croaking of frogs. The dishes were varied and delicious. There were several of us, and we were all delighted. Thank you to the staff and the kitchen.

20/06/2026: They seem to have just discovered they have ube on the menu. They mixed the ube powder with a wooden fork, but nothing is mixed and there's no taste.

17/06/2026: The lady who served me Saturday afternoon was lovely! Despite a few mistakes, like ordering a maxi instead of a regular, she still charged me the regular price.

18/10/2025: New to the area, I've been there several times and with people. Wonderful welcome, Corinne and Sébastien are both very professional, friendly and welcoming. 12/08/2026: I was greeted by a lovely gentleman. FLAN REVIEW: What a treat! The filling is delicate yet quite flavorful. The proportions are absolutely perfect, a beautiful balance, and it leaves you wanting more. AND that VANILLA... The pastry was slightly undercooked, but that was perfectly fine with me. A beautiful color on top, and a pleasant, slightly sticky texture. 5/5

03/08/2026: We went there specifically to buy the Swiss Man pastry; we also tried some cookies and cakes, and everything was delicious. The saleswoman who served us was a bit unpleasant when we asked her to give us four pieces of the Swiss Man pastry.

16/05/2026: The bedding was of poor quality. For a room costing €106, it's really disappointing. We should have booked a first-class room! The mattress was completely soft, deformed, and noisy. One of the light switches was broken... The welcome was good, and the breakfast was decent.

13/05/2026: Easy parking, well located for a stopover near the highway, fairly spacious room, pleasant bathroom, welcoming staff. Note that the restaurant is not open on Friday evenings! They did offer us a pizza though! (Thank you!) Breakfast was a bit overpriced, lacking fresh fruit (there were only apples and oranges, a bit limited), and the scrambled eggs were cold. The quality of the pastries and cakes, especially the flaky brioche, was poor; it was soggy and not crispy at all, which was a shame!

16/08/2026: A charming inn run by a welcoming team: delicious food, a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere, and a room naturally cooled by the thickness of this old building 👌. Highly recommended for lovers of charming hotels and quiet, authentic spots!

07/06/2026: Expensive. Super expensive and they never gave me the receipt with the breakdown and now I know why. I read that they add an extra Euro per item. So because I bless them by buying many items to try— they smack a Euro per item. It was the same price as dinner with multiple drinks.

03/11/2025: What can I say? Sometimes you have to separate the human element from the culinary aspect. That's why I didn't voice our dissatisfaction directly to the restaurant. We were certainly well received by the staff. However, there was a bit of bad faith involved when the bill arrived. We didn't specify that we were ordering a set menu, but it seems logical: a starter, main course, and dessert constitute a set menu... In culinary terms, I'd like to remind everyone (and any good cook should know this), a cocotte egg is an egg with a runny yolk, not a hard-boiled one. But here, the egg was hard-boiled. The cod, which should be served boneless, was indeed boneless, and quite a lot so... and taste-wise, it was okay, maybe cooked in white wine it could work (I'm no chef :) ). The veal, on the other hand, was a bit dry and fatty for a dish costing over €10. And my apple tart must have come from Metro. I expected much better, especially for a restaurant offering a €30.90 menu! €30.90 for this quality is really unacceptable. I think that by listening to your customers you could significantly improve the quality of your food, because there's definitely potential.

31/10/2025: The service and welcome were very warm. The food, however, did not live up to the aforementioned high standards. When I read the very positive reviews, I wonder if we ate at the same restaurant.

21/05/2026: Excellent value for money. Close to the ViaRhôna cycle route and a terrace to keep an eye on the cyclists. Salad, drink and dessert combo for €10

08/08/2026: My daughter suddenly threw up in the store. Very unpleasant for her, but also for the staff. But throwing up suddenly can happen to anyone. They weren't very helpful. My husband was given a cloth so he had to clean it up. The staff could have helped too.

28/07/2026: I also had my lunches at this bakery, and I highly recommend it. They have homemade sandwiches, wraps, small pizzas, and prepared dishes. Everything is homemade, very tasty, and prepared with care. The set menus are great, especially the delicious cookies, including a chocolate chip cookie that's definitely worth trying. I ate there almost every lunchtime during my stay and was never disappointed. In addition to the quality of the products, the staff is very friendly, always smiling, and the atmosphere is welcoming. A great place!
