04/09/2024: We arrived late and the restaurant was full but they offered us to eat in the lounge on the sofas. It was actually super comfortable! We were very well received, the lady who served us was extremely kind and we ate very well. Original and very good dishes. We recommend without hesitation!

Claire and Maria are adorable.
We have been coming for two years in a row and are delighted each time! Little extra for the duck confit tacos 😉.
In short, we will come back next year!
31/10/2024: It's not the first time we've come. Twice for a drink, with waitresses remembering us, and asking us about our sick child (17 months). A booster seat was offered to us, as well as colored pencils.
We came back for dinner. Always well received.
The waiter told us, before ordering, which dishes they no longer had, and it was very good.
I don't have any photos of our dishes, they were quickly eaten because they were so good! I couldn't finish the potatoes that came with my quail, because the dish was hearty (but divine!). My husband enjoyed his burger. For the meal a high chair was offered to us for our son.
The prices are fair, and the dishes are quality!
Thank you very much, we will come back!

27/06/2025: Sylvie the boss always tries to take care of her customers. The cuisine is classic, made with regional products. You don't come to Maurette's to eat gourmet food, it's an old-fashioned restaurant with its fireplace, much appreciated in cool weather!

02/08/2024: A beautiful family home where we have always been happy to return for almost 3 decades.
I reserved a table stating that it was my mother's birthday. I forgot to say it again on the big day. Fortunately, not them. My mother was surprised to have a candle and a beautiful birthday plaque (in chocolate) on her dessert. She was delighted.
The menu was succulent and refined. The perfect quantities. Large selection of wines. Appetizers and sweets appreciated.
Very great kindness from everyone, and great care for the well-being of our dog.
Big plus: the digestive walk to go to the ND de la Piétat chapel, a must.

28/09/2024: This isn't the first restaurant we've done with my husband. But it is by far the best of cauterets!
Certainly not very big but really not disappointed.
The boss can be proud.
We ordered homemade sangria, then a nice little raclette. What to say? Just exquisite!!! All products are quality. The cheese (I'm a fan) .....killer!
We enjoyed ourselves.
Regarding the staff, they are welcoming and attentive. They came to see us several times to see if everything was okay. This is the first time I see such friendly staff with these customers.
I recommend +++++!

03/09/2024: Excellent meal, copious and tasty dishes in a decor adapted to the environment. The authentic grocery store must absolutely be visited. We will return there especially as the welcome is warm. The long tables encourage discussion with other customers, it's very pleasant
29/08/2024: Passing by by chance after a hike, it was a very nice surprise for lunch. We had a blast! The meats were excellent and cooked perfectly. The quantities were more than generous, ideal after a big effort. And the service was perfect!

03/10/2024: This a fantastic place to stay if you want to explore the Pyrenees from Argelès Gazost. Tucked away above the town with incredible views, the service from the team is always friendly and first class. The breakfast is generous and the restaurant very high quality.

15/12/2024: After years of coming to this restaurant, we were frankly disappointed with our experience:
No more dish of the day at 1:30 p.m.... we decide to order a rib of beef for 2 at 68€ per kg. We are not asked for cooking or quantity, the plates arrive with a very small portion of tasteless frozen fries and undercooked 2 salad leaves fight a duel.

Product from their own farm and of quality.
A jewel nestled on a memorable pass
I will come back without hesitation.
