Excellent value for money, the discovery menu is delicious. The establishment also offers different tielles as starters, as well as artisanal ice creams for dessert. Welcome with ease. Bring a little wool in the evening

20/09/2024: Parking on site, reservation would be recommended in season. The whole team friendly and helpful. The mussels with sauce were very good, the baked mussels and oysters were sensational.

05/12/2025: A wonderful evening at the brasserie, beautiful setting, welcoming staff, and delicious food. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was excellent, beautifully presented, and served at the perfect temperature. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely return.

02/12/2025: This was my culinary introduction to Montpellier, and a wonderful first impression. I came from the train station just in time not to miss lunch hour (always plan to be seated no later than 1:15 for lunch in France; after 2 it’s usually only snack food until 7 pm), and picked this place because it was the closest restaurant to my hotel. It’s not cheap, but it’s popular for a reason. They bring a dish of home-brined black and green olives seasoned with lemon rind and spices as an amuse-bouche, in case you love olives as I do 😋. I asked for the server’s recommendation, and it was fantastic: a plate of warm sauerkraut piled with seafood and a creamy beurre blanc sauce, and a white wine of his choice to accompany it. Absolutely delicious, and so filling that I skipped dinner.

Excellent and friendly service, attentive from arrival to departure. The seafood is fresh and perfectly prepared. A real treat! Impeccable hygiene. Highly recommended.

06/11/2025: Excellent! We were looking for a restaurant on our way back from the Montpellier trade show, and frankly, it was a very pleasant surprise. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll gladly return. I had the Corsican-style wild boar stew, which was delicious, followed by a gourmet coffee. This place is definitely worth a detour.

07/09/2024: This lunch, a delight, a real treat, refined and well presented dishes, a nice environment, perfect table service. They even served us a gazpacho to keep us waiting for our first course. What more can I say except... I want to come back!!! If you want a meal that is out of the ordinary, remember this address, and enjoy your meal!!

31/08/2024: Amazing! The setting is magnificent, the service is top notch and the food is excellent!! We took two children's menus, in addition to our dishes, including breaded chicken which was a treat!!

19/01/2026: We had a lovely time at Poseidon; the meal was excellent. The €30 set menu offered a good variety of choices. The food was very good, and the welcome was warm and the staff attentive. Just one small drawback: the starters arrived almost at the same time as the aperitif, and since there was something hot on the menu, we ordered the aperitif with the starter. But that's a minor point; everything else was really great. We highly recommend this restaurant with its view of the port.
