18/02/2026: We arrived quite late for lunch in February, and despite the late hour, approaching closing time, and the already crowded dining room, we were greeted with smiles and attentiveness as if we were the only customers of the day! We shared a starter and were surprised to see two separate portions arrive in small casseroles, presented as if we had ordered two starters! The main courses were generous and delicious, and the numerous staff were available and attentive. A great find!

Everything was visually appealing and also very tasty. The portions were just right. Food is fresh and expertly prepared. Highly recommend this place. (English is spoken.)

22/06/2026: The chef goes to each table and explains each of the dishes on the menu. Very friendly, patient, and enthusiastic about the dishes. Excellent experience. We ordered a glass of wine; the wine was suggested by the waiter and paired perfectly with the dish. We ordered a main course and shared dessert, and there was no awkwardness about it.

26/07/2026: Great find thanks to Google on our route, but especially thanks to the well-deserved reviews of Le Saint Jacques. We booked at the last minute without any problems. A slight disappointment, however, that the terrace wasn't offered to us; in fact, we thought it was closed when we arrived—a shame, it looked lovely! My two teenagers opted for the pork ribs and the burger, respectively, which were a hit. I highly recommend the homemade fries (available with or without salad). For my part, I had a rather nice Asian salad. I made a small exception to my vegetarian diet with four small shrimp in the salad. There are very few, if any, meat/fish options on the menu, which is a shame given the quality. The desserts were perfect. A very warm welcome from the entire team. The bill came to 98 euros, including three main courses, three desserts, two drinks, and a coffee. Excellent value for money. I recommend this somewhat hidden local establishment, the antithesis of tourist traps.

27/05/2026: We had a wonderful time. The meat was particularly delicious, cooked over a wood fire! I had a ribeye steak and my husband had a duck breast; we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was very attentive. We'll be back!

22/08/2026: Beautiful patio and lovely decor right in the heart of the city center. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A minor drawback: the service was very slow due to a table of 12 arriving just before us, and there was clearly a lack of a head sommelier with whom we would have enjoyed chatting, given the excellent selection of regional wines on offer.

09/08/2026: A truly wonderful experience in Grau d'Agde with a view of the Hérault River. Getting there requires crossing the ferry, which lends the restaurant an island feel. The fish and seafood are incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. The pineapple carpaccio is divine. To complement the dishes, they offer regional wines at reasonable prices. Finally, a very pleasant chat with the chef, who is passionate about simple, authentic, and generous cuisine. Highly recommended.

04/08/2026: A superb evening with friends at Le Marin Pêcheur in La Tamarissière. In a magnificent setting on the banks of the Hérault River, we had a wonderful time. High-quality cuisine, fresh ingredients, attentive service, and a friendly atmosphere... everything was perfect for a lovely evening. Well done to the entire team for your warm welcome and professionalism. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal in an exceptional setting.
