17/02/2026: I celebrated my wedding ceremony at L’Omélya and everything was perfect from beginning to end. The venue is magnificent, very pleasant, and ideal for such an important event. The menu was excellent; everyone truly appreciated the quality and taste of the dishes. The staff was very professional, attentive, and always available to assist us, which made the day even more stress-free. Thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome and excellent organization. I highly recommend them!

07/02/2026: Surely one of the best restaurants in Tours. We stumbled upon it quite by chance while passing by, and the food is simply delicious, the ingredients fresh and local, the portions generous, and the presentation beautiful. Add to that the excellent service, with complimentary open-faced sandwiches and steamed vegetables, and a cozy, homey atmosphere. Our experience was very pleasant, and we will definitely return. Go without hesitation.

04/01/2026: We arrived late in Chinon; almost everything was already closed, but we saw L’Ardoise, asked, and they kindly offered us a table. It was a real stroke of luck, as we thoroughly enjoyed their French cuisine made with local produce. The duck breast and the veal with butter from Paris were excellent. The starter, a savory crème brûlée with fresh goat cheese, was also delicious and surprisingly good. The service was superb, and they had a good wine list.

12/12/2025: It had been a long time since we'd been to this restaurant. Apparently, it's still the same owners, however, I found the owner's wife very bossy, even putting a napkin on my 18-year-old son's lap 😳 How dare she be so familiar? My daughter asked for her meat to be cooked medium, and she complained that it was overcooked for such a good cut. Excuse me, what's the point of asking how you want your meat cooked if she has her own opinion and refuses to listen? Well, spending nearly €230 and being treated like that isn't so bad; there are other restaurants in Chinon. Otherwise, the dishes were nicely presented, the meat was too thick for my taste—I've had much more tender—and the price was quite steep.

01/02/2026: Absolutely nothing to complain about, everything was perfect! The staff were friendly, the food was absolutely delicious (especially the cream soup!), and the decor and unique atmosphere were fantastic. We highly recommend it.

25/01/2026: The best meal I've had in France. Mushrooms snails and egg for starter. Chicken supreme for main course, Mis-cuit chocolate dessert. €35 for 3 Courses. I bought a half bottle of wine for €18. I was given a complimentary digestif at the end.

06/01/2026: During our stay in Tours, we ate at La Bigouden restaurant. The restaurant offers a wide selection of Breton galettes, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed them. A great place for galette lovers, which I highly recommend.

15/02/2026: The restaurant is spacious and the tables are spaced far enough apart that you won't be bothered by other customers. The service was outstanding, both attentive and friendly. We all enjoyed the original, beautifully presented, and delicious dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant.

13/02/2026: Once again, we greatly appreciate this establishment, for its setting and the rustic decor of its large downstairs room; for the quality of service provided by the owner, efficient, quick, and unpretentious, yet always with a smile and genuine warmth. The other staff are also very efficient and courteous. The tables are set with real linen; the glasses, cutlery, and plates are simple, modern, yet timeless. The food is delicious, from the appetizers to the desserts, including the main courses; everything is subtle, refined, and balanced, like the pork belly with baby vegetables we enjoyed that day, or the apple Tatin decorated with pecans. The wine list features a wide selection of local producers for the reds, or, for example, the sweet white wine "Poule aux œufs d'or" (Golden Hen), which brings a taste of southern French sunshine to the palate with its blend of Petit and Grand Manseng grapes. As you can see, we love this restaurant and will return with great pleasure.

30/11/2025: Excellent spot at the foot of the castle. A traditional menu with a semi-gastronomic twist. A crème brûlée with black sesame and miso. Very surprising and delicious. A tasty reminder of salted caramel, don't hesitate!
