01/07/2026: I've been several times now and I'm always delighted! The staff are so incredibly friendly, it's such a pleasure 😊 They can easily make changes to the galettes. As for the dessert pots, I could eat them every day; your chocolate mousse is simply delicious! And of course, the vintage decor adds to this wonderful break. Thank you for everything! 25/05/2026: The place has ambition, but the food doesn't quite live up to it yet. The burrata lacked creaminess and was served cold in the center, with a haphazard seasoning on the pea purée. The "crying tiger" main course suffered from a lack of direction: a little bit of noodle, a little bit of rice on the side, and an overly salty soy sauce that overwhelmed everything. It's unclear where the chef is going with it. For such high prices, one has the right to expect more precision and coherence on the plate.

The service, the friendly smiles, the dishes and their preparation, the wines, and the setting are magnificent. What more can I say than keep offering such wonderful things and you will make many people happy.

19/06/2026: What a find! We chose to eat inside the cool cave, watching the wood fired meals being prepared, outside seating is also available. Our dog was welcomed as warmly as we were. Families, couples, locals and visitors mixed. Our menu choices were delicious (terrine/ steak/ goat cheese salad.) Wine and drinks list was excellent, and it was all very reasonably priced.

12/07/2026: Disappointed by this restaurant. My wife wanted to celebrate my birthday there, and we ordered the €55 menu. No complaints about the menu itself, except for the end where they served the cheese and dessert to share at the same time, along with a candle on a meager chocolate fondant. The manager was awful... completely unresponsive to the customer. A shame. Avoid this place for a birthday celebration.

13/05/2026: We had dinner and stayed one night at this establishment and were delighted with our choice. The meal (a seven-course menu for us) was served in a beautiful, contemporary dining room with a view of the surrounding nature. It was flawless, both in terms of the cuisine (refined and inventive) and the service. The only slight criticism was that the portions were a little too generous to truly appreciate the end of the meal and the petit fours offered with coffee. We opted to stay in the cabin-style rooms: an excellent choice! They are very spacious, beautifully decorated, and one of the two had a view of the surrounding nature (unfortunately, the other overlooked the back of the neighbors' house at the end of the garden). The bathroom has a freestanding bathtub and a walk-in shower. Absolutely fantastic!

14/07/2026: A lovely little restaurant discovered during a stay in Loches, right in the middle of a heatwave. Hats off to the waitresses who were incredibly efficient while still smiling and attentive to their customers. We dined there twice and were not disappointed at all, quite the opposite. Simple but well-prepared dishes. Excellent value for money. A must-try!

15/06/2026: 15 June 26, Excellent big boat trip, lasts 50 mins, up and down river to view Chateau, lovely staff, nice bar for drinks, ice creams, camp site with all facilities, WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE?!!

14/06/2026: Family lunch. A few weeks before the big day, we booked the prestige menu for everyone (teenagers, young adults, and adults). Having made the reservation, we forgot to mention that there would be children. On the day itself, Sunday, June 14th, we arrived at our table to find 11 glasses of Vouvray already poured, along with three open bottles of Chinon. We asked the young waitress if there were minors present and if we would like to exchange their glass of Vouvray. We could see that our request bothered someone, but we eventually managed to get three cans of Coke, as there was nothing else available. While the food was quite good (PRESTIGE menu), the service was more than inadequate. They forgot to serve half the table, and instead of apologizing, we were told, "It's because you didn't bring the plates forward." "We overlooked the minor hiccups and still had a great time, enjoying the long-awaited view of the castle and passing under the arches."
