24/08/2026: A lukewarm welcome? The presentation of the dishes is polished, with meticulous attention to detail! The starter consists of a few pieces of "industrial" white pudding (the owner specifies that the skin is removed), along with two halved tomatoes with their skins intact. A small sauce. The main course is a sweetbread terrine... it's actually a sausage meat terrine with a single, 1 cm² piece of sweetbread. It's not the name that's misleading. The beans and chanterelles are good. There's no wine list, only a chalkboard displaying wines by the glass. This restaurant is disappointing, with high prices for such uninspired cuisine in Vouvray. The bread doesn't come with a saucer. It's placed directly on the outdoor table without a tablecloth? This lack of service is unacceptable for a bill of 50 to 60 euros.

08/08/2026: An incredible restaurant with cuisine bursting with creativity and freshness! Impeccable service on a shaded terrace. We went there after visiting the Vouvray wine cellars, and it was the perfect combination. Thank you, we'll be back!

28/08/2026: The service is exceptional. The children's menu is very good. Some dishes might seem a little too salty depending on individual tastes. We had a very enjoyable time at this restaurant.

26/08/2026: Back to La Ciboulette to take our time, this time enjoying a gourmet meal and catching up with the team from two years ago. A great stop for relaxation and delicious food on the A10 motorway at exit 28. See you soon on our next trip.

18/03/2026: I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Clos des Roses. Audrey and Laurent are incredibly welcoming and warm. I will cherish the memories of my stay. The place has a beautiful soul, embodied by the owners themselves. And to top it all off, the cocktails, the meal, and the breakfast were all delicious. Thank you both! ☺️

10/01/2026: The restaurant has been sold, what a shame! It was a real gem in the area, offering excellent value for money and a warm welcome! We'll miss Armelle and Julien! The bar was set high :) Let's hope whoever takes over will live up to it.

30/12/2025: I stayed here last May with my family on a trip through France and Germany. This hotel was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. However my favorite part of this town were the cats. We had been in France for 3-4 days and I did not see any cats. I missed mine back home very much. When we arrived late at night there were several near the shops and hotel.

22/03/2026: The Auberge de Crissay is an excellent place to stay; everything is perfect. The welcome, the service, and the various set menus offered are all top-notch. Lunch is of very high quality, featuring local products, and the prices are reasonable. We will definitely return and recommend it without hesitation.

26/05/2026: A pleasant hotel with large, comfortable, and well-equipped rooms, each with a balcony offering lovely panoramic views. The staff were friendly and helpful with advice on places to visit. The grounds are lush and green. We had a great stay.

03/07/2026: A truly magical interlude! We had a wonderful night in the Orchard cabin. The setting is magnificent, calm, and peaceful; the cabin is comfortable and very well-appointed. We highly recommend this experience and will gladly return!

The welcome was very warm, the cabin is very well-appointed with all the necessary comforts, and we slept very well (the room stayed cool despite the heat). The elevated terrace is lovely, and the breakfast basket delivered downstairs in the morning was a great touch. The location is very peaceful... We were able to completely disconnect and enjoy this moment of calm and relaxation. We have absolutely no complaints; everything was perfect! Thank you for this experience :)

Everything was perfect, from the entire planning process beforehand, where every detail was meticulously thought out, thanks to Aurélie, who was incredibly helpful and kind. Then, on the big day, everything went perfectly: the timing was impeccable, and the team took excellent care of us and our guests. Last-minute changes and special requests (vegetarian dishes, allergies, etc.) were handled flawlessly. And of course, the food was delicious! Thank you again!

06/07/2026: We set out to get a salad that looked very tempting, glancing at our neighbors as well, and in the end, my wife and I each ordered a burger: one vegetarian and the other made with real chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and other delicious toppings that delighted our taste buds. Plus, the service was excellent.

04/09/2026: Great bistro in my village. Warm welcome, plates bursting with delicious colors. A favorite spot at the Tuesday market. The owner is very friendly. That's all there is to it...

18/08/2026: Mussels and fries night. We waited an hour before our order was taken, and half an hour later, the mussels were served, which seemed pre-chewed, and the fries were undercooked. We left everything. Absolutely avoid this place.

23/08/2026: We ate on the terrace and left absolutely delighted. We tried several dishes, and all were excellent. The salmon tartare was very fresh and beautifully presented; the duck breast was perfectly cooked, served with potatoes and a delicious sauce; and the cordon bleu was beautifully presented and especially tasty. We also ordered the children's menu, which included a hamburger, fries, and salad—a simple but well-prepared option. The children's menu includes ice cream. We were also grateful that they had Jupiler 0.0, as I had to drive. Good ingredients, generous and carefully prepared portions, a pleasant atmosphere, and a fantastic location for dining while visiting Amboise. The service was friendly, and the overall experience clearly deserves five stars. A place we would definitely return to and highly recommend.
