03/09/2024: Une carte qui interroge sur les associations d’ingrédients… des surprises à chaque plat digne d’un étoilé !! Entre amis, nous avons plus parlé de ce que nous mangions que de parler ensemble…. cqdd !!! Belle découverte ! Merci au chef , Gilles Hemart, pour ce moment gustatif !!

01/09/2024: Exceptionnel. Le chef s'amuse à mélanger des saveurs, des textures...Salé /sucré, aérien/dense, croquant/moelleux, acidulé/doux. Les vins proposés (bios!) étaient parfaits et le personnel gentil et attentionné, à recommander sans hésitation

12/09/2024: Quelle belle découverte ! Petite salle mais belle cuisine ! Le service est sympa , jeune et plein d’humour! La cuisine est excellente . Viande ou poisson , chacun a apprécié !

07/09/2024: Piatti ricercati e ottimamente cucinati. Il cameriere che ci ha serviti è stato gentile e molto bravo. Una piacevole esperienza,la migliore cena della nostra settimana in Francia. Eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo, valeva i 39 euro di menù a cena per le pietanze e il servizio proposti. Continuate così 😃

07/08/2024: My friends made dinner reservations here. The staff were friendly and helpful. They provided me with an English menu. I had the fish for dinner—delicious. The food was beautifully prepared. Great atmosphere.

16/07/2024: Hello, welcome, perfect, service, it is a shame to serve a whiskey aperitif in a small cognac glass, it is a detail, certainly, otherwise excellent starters, dishes at the top, only for me the dessert is not to the height of the dishes, despite the wording on the menu which makes you want to discover. But don't deprive yourself of discovering this quality restaurant, one of the few open on Mondays.

20/08/2024: Here is a restaurant that would like to play in the big leagues by displaying a really great website. This establishment really deserves to hire untrained staff even if it can inevitably create some problems of misunderstanding. I suggest a few points for improvement: Avoid announcing fish according to availability to serve an unfortunate fillet of saithe...we know well that boats do not arrive in Montpoupon every day. Avoid presenting a bottle of Saumur Champigny from 2022 when ordering 2011 presented on the menu, start uncorking it without saying anything to the customer, thinking that it would still pass. This last remark was made to the owner who didn't even apologize and who couldn't think of anything other than "we no longer have vintage wines.....well in this case, we remove it from the Madam card!! Some evil spirits might mistake this for fraud!!

22/09/2024: Restaurant with terrace on the main street towards the castles and closed terrace behind. Decent cuisine, but lacking in taste and finesse; the lemon tart is very doughy, the chef's burger is nothing exceptional. Special mention for the little waiter, a preteen of around 14 years old, very diligent, serious. He will go far!

18/09/2024: Food was below average: steak and duck were chewy and lacking flavour. They forgot the bruschetta, yet charged for it.

21/08/2024: We dined at Le Chateau de Pray for our 20th anniversary. It was our first Michelin star dining experience and did not disappoint. We opted for the chef's tasting menu. The staff was extremely attentive, the food was beautifully presented, creative and delicious. We did not feel rushed at all. Left full and happy. Would recommend without reservations!

20/09/2024: An address as needed on every street corner. 2 evenings in a row for us as the first visit was a success. Delicious wines, unparalleled welcome, good humor, joie de vivre and a light tone are there. Thank you for your good humor, your ease of creating a connection and your sharing.
