30/01/2026: Perfect lunch break. The crepes and galettes are very good, the staff are very pleasant and courteous.

30/12/2025: Meh, avoid it, disappointed. Despite service being advertised until 9:30 pm, our arrival at 9 pm didn't seem to work for us. The service was rushed and impersonal; we were asked to order the sweet crepe right away. In the end, we were served before the surrounding tables that had arrived before us. The galettes were dry, barely buttered, and sparsely filled. The buckwheat crepe and kraz (a type of flatbread) tasted good. The salted caramel looked like plain caramel with a burnt aftertaste. The sweet crepe was sticky and undercooked. The cider, however, was very good. The restrooms had no hand towels and the toilet paper holder was ripped open. I don't understand the 4.4 rating. Unfortunately, I cook better.

09/07/2025: The boat was in good condition and the staff were pleasant and friendly! However, the sailing time was a bit short compared to the advertised time. The commentary was interesting but a bit lacking in quantity and content. A bit expensive for the service.

23/11/2025: From the service to the meal itself, everything was perfect. There was nothing superfluous, nothing out of place. This restaurant is a wonderful discovery, and we highly recommend it.

26/11/2025: I went there with a group of friends. The dining room was cold, and the service was very slow. The €25 set menu included, among other things, a Camembert puff pastry, a filet mignon, and an apple puff pastry. The portions were tiny, the filet mignon was dry, the two mashed potatoes combined amounted to a tablespoon, and the plates were cold. The whole group was disappointed, and we won't be going back.

31/12/2025: We stumbled upon this incredible place by chance. The owner was incredibly kind. The food was delicious. It had a charming village atmosphere in a lovely little bistro. Everyone chatted with everyone. Pure joy!

23/10/2025: Don't miss this fantastic hotel when passing through Chinon. It's located in a quiet, natural setting with a fabulous view. The welcome is warm and friendly, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The food is delicious and showcases local produce.

09/12/2025: Authentic Italian pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven in the heart of the countryside near Descartes – pure bliss! The same goes for their lasagna, ravioli, and other Italian specialties. I highly recommend them. Remember to book ahead on weekends or order takeout; seating is limited, but the quality of the food is well worth the trip, whether you eat in or take away.

19/11/2025: I had a four-cheese pizza, a pure delight. The welcome was warm and the seating was comfortable. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the pizza, which was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it; you can go without hesitation.

19/09/2024: The beef on the place... the place is there, pleasant, and the beef is very present on the plate!!. What a pretty place. Bistro atmosphere, a friendly and responsive team, and excellent meat. The perfect place for a relaxed evening and FRENCH cuisine. Try, and end up with a walk along the Loire 5 minutes away. What else??!!
