04/03/2026: I stopped by today at the start of service. 80 covers were reserved, so no one else could be served... Not sure they could serve on time. Three waitresses and one bartender; I find it very inadequate to turn customers away. In short, I won't be going back there even if it's empty. Lamentable.

The disappointing points: exorbitant (and prohibitive) prices, the temperature of the galettes (the two Norman galettes arrived barely lukewarm), and the chilliness of the dining room. And to top it all off: the owner rather abruptly refused our payment method. Even though it was good, it's only a 3.

01/03/2026: A friendly, lively bar, with great service, providing good wine, beer and great snacks (like dry sausage).
This is a bar that doesn't just take advantage of it's location directly opposite the Chateau, but one that works hard to please and satisfy its customers. Brilliant! Loved it!
28/02/2026: A very pleasant setting, soft retro Anglo-Saxon music, and a super welcome from the hosts. They gave us good wine recommendations to accompany the lovely charcuterie and cheese board. The charcuterie wasn't fatty, and the local products were excellent.
We had a wonderful time together.

22/02/2026: We tried this restaurant on Friday and it was a great find. A small but enticing menu, affordable prices... the burger was very good, the ground beef patty was well-seasoned and cooked to perfection.
As for the desserts, they were delicious. The only thing missing is non-alcoholic beer, but even without it, it deserves 5 stars.

29/12/2025: This restaurant is a little gem: tucked away on the hillside bordering the Bourgueil forest, it resembles an old farmhouse. You dine in a warm and authentic room, by the fireside, enjoying refined regional cuisine with beautifully presented and delicious dishes. A rustic, "homey" atmosphere. Definitely worth a return visit.

17/02/2026: I celebrated my wedding ceremony at L’Omélya and everything was perfect from beginning to end. The venue is magnificent, very pleasant, and ideal for such an important event.
The menu was excellent; everyone truly appreciated the quality and taste of the dishes. The staff was very professional, attentive, and always available to assist us, which made the day even more stress-free.

If you go there, do as we did and have lunch or dinner at this superb place.
The setting is friendly and cool.
The dishes are excellent and everything is homemade.
Foie gras
Lamb sweetbreads
Prawn risotto
Salmon
And a chocolate éclair to finish, all accompanied by a few glasses of chignon.
Not to mention the owner, who is available, helpful, smiling, and professional.
Go there with your eyes closed.
