The trio platter: the hanger steak was tough even though it was cooked rare, the rump steak was slightly better, but only slightly better, and there was a tablespoon of fatty vegetables, peppers, and eggplant with very tough skin. The same went for the tartare, which included a quartered button mushroom that was trying to soak up the oil from preserving the "vegetables." The tartare was indeed hand-cut, but already somewhat seasoned with a homemade sauce (?) and not a single condiment. Apart from a sprig of parsley lost in the middle of the meat. The parsley must have been curly, but it wasn't exactly fresh. Putting the meat, which has been exposed to air and is therefore a bit dry and a different color, at the bottom of the tartare doesn't hide it when you eat it. As for the fries: greasy, soggy, in short, uninteresting. Sunday lunch, nothing special for Sunday lunch prices... Average quality of the meat, noted without any particular reaction. No more Java for us.

20/07/2026: Excellent from start to finish. The seasoning is perfect, neither too salty nor too sweet. The service is friendly and includes a welcome touch of humor. The terrace is shaded but a bit noisy due to the layout of the place.

25/06/2026: Excellent restaurant in Le Coteau. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The dishes are delicious and generous. Local cuisine made with local ingredients. Definitely a great place that I highly recommend. Just be aware that parking isn't always easy on the main street.
