16/08/2026: Passing through on August 14th, we ate at your inn. The service was very good and the staff friendly. We ordered the escargots as a starter (we were very disappointed by this one; the snails were tiny and there was practically no escargot butter). The beef was decent, and so was my wife's burger. We were a little surprised when the bill arrived: the dessert, which should have been included in our set menu, was charged separately. It's a shame because the atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming.

14/09/2026: We had a good time, but be aware the dining room is noisy. The meal was good. One small complaint about the dish we ordered (Welche au Saint-Nectaire): it was described as having an old-fashioned mustard sauce, which is true, but it was far too overpowering. It completely masked the flavor of the rest of the dish, and it was supposed to have a slice of artisanal country bread at the bottom, which it wasn't; it was a slice of white bread. The desserts, chocolate fondant and French toast, were very good, and the appetizer, a small charcuterie board to share (which wasn't actually that small), was perfect. Sincerely,

12/09/2026: We came last year at the very beginning of July, as we were staying in a nearby hotel. The food was really very good, the terrace was nice... But... Of course, there's a big but! The manager was incredibly unpleasant! The young woman who came to help was lovely, no complaints there! But then there was the tall, thin woman (who I assume is the manager, given the disdainful tone she uses with the waiters) – a disaster! We gritted our teeth so she wouldn't ruin our vacation, since we were all just passing through town... Our vacation had only just begun for us. We came back this year... Same place, same hotel, same town! Since we had eaten well, and not holding a grudge, we decided to give it another chance.... Madam, change jobs if you're not happy. You clearly ruined our experience. I'm giving it 2 stars (and even then, I'm forcing myself, but I'm raising the bar thanks to the young woman who served us and the food!). But madam, you deserve a -10.... The only smile we received was when we took the bill... In any case, twice... But we won't be giving it a third chance. What a shame... There's potential there. In short, if you want to have a good time, go somewhere else....

03/06/2026: A comfortable, simply furnished hotel, perfect for a stopover from May 28th to 29th for two couples. We enjoyed a good evening meal featuring melted cheese and a good breakfast with local products. There's a private, gated parking lot opposite the hotel, and we were very pleased with the advice we received about visiting the menhir in the park via the path behind the hotel, and about finding the farms in Beau-le-Froid that sell delicious farm-made Saint-Nectaire cheese. Thank you for your hospitality.

29/07/2026: I stayed at this hotel for three weeks for work and I highly recommend it. The welcome was warm from the moment I arrived, and the entire team was very friendly and attentive throughout my stay. The rooms are pleasant and well-maintained. A big thank you also to the restaurant: the food was excellent, varied, and consistently high quality. After three weeks there, I truly felt at home. Thank you to the whole team for your professionalism and kindness. I will gladly return!

01/09/2026: First and last visit. So, for a purchase, I had to go to the warehouse myself even though there were people at the checkout... anyway, I didn't know that customers had to do the employees' work, and if this is really common practice at IKEA France, it's a disgrace. I've been an IKEA customer in other European countries and I've never experienced this. I'm extremely disappointed, I'm definitely not going back. The one star they're forcing me to give is something they don't deserve.

07/05/2026: The times I've eaten there, it was delicious and the service was top-notch. The low score is because I have stood in front of a closed door more often than I have eaten there. It is impossible for a tourist to find out online whether they are open or not. A real shame for such a nice place.

21/04/2026: I was passing through on business and stopped by by chance at lunchtime. What a joy to see that such a wonderful place still exists to eat good, homemade food at a reasonable price. Served with a smile and a great atmosphere... Honestly, thank you to the team at "Chez Julie"!!! Don't hesitate, stop by without hesitation. P.S.: Plan a little nap after your visit!!!

21/05/2026: Hotel very well located in the heart of La Bourboule. A good quality breakfast is available on site. Several restaurants are nearby. The room has been renovated and is well-equipped. The hallways and surrounding area are a bit dated.

29/12/2025: Very clean place, cleaned every morning. Very sophisticated, but one small detail: when you remove the pass, everything that's plugged in shuts off. Apart from that, it's perfect.

26/09/2026: I strongly advise against going there. The products are of poor quality for the price (cold cuts, salad, potatoes, etc.). We have rarely eaten such bad-tasting cheese.
