28/04/2026: Reasonable prices and good quality, smiling and friendly staff

18/04/2026: I ordered a mint chocolate milkshake, and it turned out to be a scoop of ice cream with stale milk added on top. I call that a "mint milk" (a play on words, as "L'OL" is a French expression meaning "the Lyon bar"). Really disappointed.

29/11/2025: We just stopped by the bar for a coffee and a crepe, the interior is nice and cozy, the gentleman who served us was kind and polite, that's all we asked for so thank you.

22/11/2025: At the beginning of September, we stopped for a drink... a glass of wine and a rosé for 7.5 euros! Luckily, it wasn't August anymore 😄

22/02/2026: What a surprise to find ourselves back in the 1990s! Nothing has changed. Same decor, same bathroom. It's high time they brought it up to date. As for the food, it was bland. The buildings are in a deplorable state. It's a shame, but we won't be returning to the Campanile.

18/02/2026: A stay at the Campanile in Thiers followed a certain internal logic. The bathroom was marred by visible mold on the walls, grout, and behind the towels, creating a constantly damp atmosphere. While the bathroom did have heating, its switch moved freely and wasn't connected to anything, rendering any attempt to turn it on futile, even in cold weather. Overall, this demonstrates a particularly questionable level of maintenance and consideration for guest comfort. Not recommended.

02/07/2026: Perfect if you don't need anything! Tourist trap and zero friendliness.

30/06/2026: INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS! Really affordable price, excellent crepes. I highly recommend it. Minor drawback: the waitress wasn't very welcoming and the restrooms are poorly located.

01/06/2026: It's a bit of a tourist trap; the food isn't great, but the waitresses are very pleasant and professional.

30/05/2026: The staff were very unfriendly and refused to welcome us (we were a group of 15). In the end, it was for the best, considering the reviews, and we found a much better place just a short walk away!

01/06/2026: One star because it's the absolute minimum. Restaurant to AVOID on every level. The parking lot: the grass tickles your knees, and when you mention it to the owner, she tells you in her best tone that you didn't come to park but to eat. Well, let's talk about that. Enter the restaurant and you'll be greeted without a smile (and yes, remember, you're there to eat). You're seated at a table and then forgotten about for over 40 minutes. Finally, the waitress returns to take your aperitif order and disappears for another 30 minutes. It's already 2 PM when they finally come to take your order for the long-awaited meal (you came for that, even if you forgot), and well, almost an hour between each course, including a bluebottle fly 😃, but not a smile from the waitresses. In short, don't experience anything worse than a kitchen nightmare. And they tell you: they've stopped taking reservations because they're too busy, even though the restaurant is barely a third full and you have to make a reservation. They would be better off closing down and retiring because they don't deserve to run an establishment

31/05/2026: A mixed experience. We arrived at 1 p.m. and left at 5 p.m., which is far too long for a meal, especially since the restaurant wasn't full. Furthermore, we unfortunately found a fly in one of our plates. The staff was courteous, but these issues significantly impacted our experience. I hope these points will be improved in the future.

25/05/2026: It's 1:30 pm this Whit Monday, and we wanted to get a waffle and a coffee before hitting the road again, but we were turned away, told it was only possible from 3 pm onwards due to staff shortages. It's a strange long weekend, isn't it? Even for a coffee...

16/04/2026: 50cl for €10, is that okay? We're not in the Alps!
