08/10/2024: Discovered by chance, this restaurant is definitely worth stopping for a good time and meal. It is located a few kilometers from the village of Collobrières which for me is an advantage for being quiet. Everything is homemade and what I ate was tasty. For beer lovers, Tchouc, a locally brewed beer is offered, it is excellent! The owners are very friendly and welcoming. I had an excellent evening.

11/09/2024: Excellent restaurant with a warm and friendly welcome. We were able to have lunch at 2 p.m. without problem. Excellent food and everything homemade. Very quiet environment with garden. Excellent value for money. Recommended!

28/09/2024: Notre adresse préférée pour nos repas en duo ou en famille les soirs d'été. Blotti dans la végétation dans le calme reposant et romantique du petit port du Niel, ce restaurant est un vrai écrin à une soirée gourmande et reposante. Les tables sont assez espacées pour permettre une bonne discrétion entre les clients. L'accueil et le service sont très chaleureux, toujours un mot gentil et surtout des grands sourires. La carte est souvent la même, mais il faut bien avouer qu'elle est top. Les saveurs sont toujours bien présentes et on se régale. Le régal dans les assiettes mais aussi dans les yeux avec ce panorama sur la mer et la vue sur l'île de Porquerolles au coucher du soleil. Contre toute attente nous avons eu la chance d'avoir (pour nous) la meilleure table en réservant à la dernière minute, grâce à un désistement au dernier moment, mais sinon, pensez à réserver !

19/09/2024: We had a great meal here when on holiday in La Garde Freinet. Six of us spanning three generations, aged from 5 to 72. They looked after us beautifully and the food was of a high standard. We can’t recommend it too highly. Great garden like atmosphere.

30/08/2024: A very cute little restaurant that we would love to come back to. The food tasted very good. We really liked the atmosphere. You should reserve in advance so that you can get a table. Our Bernese Mountain Dog was also greeted with a lot of love.

04/10/2024: Because of the many good reviews and the beautiful location, we went to this restaurant with friends for a special evening We were taken to the terrace for the aperitif, where we then had to place our entire order. When we arrived at the table, it was pretty plain, without a tablecloth, and all the drinks were already on the table. After that, the food came in quick succession. This was very good, but the price was rather steep. A 3 course menu for over €60. For the main course either fish or chicken legs. Alternatively, you could choose a main course from the menu. This would have cost an extra €20!!! No greeting from the kitchen etc. And the service was mechanical and the friendliness was rather artificial. Maybe due to the end of the season Too bad. We were hoping to find a new favorite restaurant.

The view there is simply breathtaking, and we highly recommend that you go and admire it for yourself: it is unforgettable. In terms of cuisine, La Verdoyante stands out for its refined dishes, highlighting Provençal specialties. The ingredients, fresh and local, are prepared with care and passion that is felt in every bite.

04/09/2024: Bij binnenkomst geen welkom voor ons. Met een breed gebaar mogen we ergens gaan zitten. De graved lax is goed. De carpaccio heb je elders beter en origineler. De hamburgers zijn erg slecht op een sompig wit bolletje. De medium rare is overbakken meer dan welldone.Burgerking doet dat dan beter voor 3,95. Deze chef weet echt niet wat hij doet. De koffie is prima; het taartje oud. Na onze klachten krijgen we de cafe gourmand “ cadeau” . Heb twee keer moeten uitleggen dat wij die sowieso niet hoeven te betalen omdat we het menu van 55 euro hadden genomen. Kortom: overpriced en binnenkort out of business. Ook een mailtje naar Michelin gestuurd. Bib onwaardig.
