01/05/2026: Pleasant place, excellent food. The only downside was that the main course was served 45 minutes after we ordered our aperitif, even after insisting. Too long.

14/10/2025: I discovered this store while strolling through the mall. What a lovely discovery! The coffee varieties are impressive, as are the teas, and the sweet treats are incredibly tempting. The staff is welcoming, informative, and helpful; it's very pleasant. As a result, I'm going to invest in a new coffee machine and I'll be going back to treat myself to a coffee treat 😄☕️

07/04/2026: As a beer enthusiast and professional, I wanted to visit Brasserie des Îles d’Or in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately, the welcome was disappointing. The reception was cold and impersonal, with an approach solely focused on sales. No one even got up from their chair; interaction and consideration are sorely lacking. This is all the more disappointing in an environment where sharing and passion should be paramount. An experience that doesn't reflect the image one expects from a brewery. Disappointing...

27/04/2026: The service (thank you, Clara!), the ambiance, the decor, and the cocktails were excellent. Unfortunately, the food didn't impress us. It lacked flavor and finesse. (Lunch)

07/04/2026: We went to Jardin Tropezina in Ramatuelle and had booked the first available time slot. Unfortunately, we were seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant, not outside with a view of the beach – a disappointing start. The food and drinks were mediocre at best. The taste was okay, but nothing special – especially considering the prices. I had a burger for about €46, which was good, but rather small and came with very few sides. For a third of the price, you can get significantly more, and often even better quality, at many good burger joints. What was really disappointing was that, as is customary there, a serving table was set up next to our table. Our main course had been sitting there for several minutes while we were still enjoying the amuse-bouche. Shortly after, it was practically snatched from our hands so the main course could be served. This seemed unnecessarily rushed and poorly planned. Overall, the service felt very rigid and almost over-organized. The waiters were friendly, but very focused on following their service plan – which sometimes made them seem a little tense. The ambiance, however, is truly outstanding and hard to beat – you're definitely paying for the location and the atmosphere right on the beach. All in all: a beautiful place – especially for those who see money as just a number.

08/11/2025: At 1 p.m., the daily special was gone... so I had to choose a steak or duck breast, which was much more expensive... the fries were greasy, the rump steak too fatty, and there was no salad or it was an extra charge... The dining room was noisy, and I didn't want to sit under the air conditioning, it was either too hot or too cold! It's really not worth the price unless you manage to get the daily special!

24/09/2025: Business lunch. Despite fairly quick service, the quality of the food was disappointing: the daily special of chicken leg and fries was a small portion and the fried chicken was overcooked. The price was excessive for the quantity served and the quality of the food. The air conditioning was incredibly noisy in the dining room, and the cleanliness was only average.

30/03/2026: We eat here very often when we're in Cavalaire. The owner is very approachable and communicative. Don't forget he's busy and can't chat for three hours. He's on his own and deserves it. He works hard. The food and prices are very reasonable. Criticism is easy. Those who are unhappy can move on, but don't ruin this business for the average French person. Keep it up, J M, don't change a thing.

11/04/2026: I ordered mussels, advertised as a house specialty, and it was a terrible experience. The taste was already very disappointing, with an impression of frozen food (onions, garlic, and probably the mussels themselves). But most importantly, I got sick after the meal, with symptoms that lasted for several days. It was the only dish I ate that evening, so I seriously question the freshness of the ingredients. I even had to continue working in that condition, which made the situation even more difficult. A very bad experience for me.

03/04/2026: A terrible experience. After the appetizers, we waited almost two hours for our main courses, without any clear explanation. We were mistakenly served a bottle of wine we hadn't ordered. The main courses then arrived in a rush: raw fish, overcooked meat – inedible. A second attempt was no better. Despite the waitresses' efforts, neither the kitchen nor management were able to rectify the situation. This is probably the worst restaurant experience we've ever had.

12/05/2026: The waiter was awful! He made inappropriate remarks constantly, was rude, jaded, incredibly bitter, and arrogant with the customers. Aside from that, the food itself was decent. It's worth noting that there's no bread available if you ask politely; you'll have the pleasure of being brushed off by the waiter... because, and I quote, "in a crêperie, there's no bread" (they also serve salad). Your waiter is far too loud to be a waiter. If he can't speak properly, he should find another job, if he'd be accepted elsewhere...

12/04/2026: We came as a group of 24, and yet the waiter was very friendly and efficient. The crepes were excellent. I highly recommend this place.

27/04/2026: An absurd experience for something as simple as an ice cream in the sun. Initially seated at a two-seater table in the sun, I was asked to move to the front of the shop, told there were more seats. I went: the only option in the sun was a four-seater table. I sat down, then was asked again to move to the shade. I was told that "it's the owner's rule." So an internal rule takes precedence over a simple customer request. When I reiterated that I simply wanted to sit in the sun, there was no listening, just a curt response. No consistency, no sense of service. A needlessly complicated situation for a basic need. The kind of situation you don't encounter in Italy, Spain, or Portugal. Only in the South of France.

26/04/2026: Well, there's been a lot of work to do. I received a very warm welcome today. It's a pleasure to be back on this terrace, enjoying the friendly service and the delicious food! My comment below, from 2025! I'm almost 58 years old, and I've known Le Poussin Bleu for 57 years. The decline is noticeable year after year. The terrace is getting dirty. Not all the flavors are available. Not even meringue is available. If you continue like this, you're going to kill this iconic establishment. Get a grip!!

11/04/2026: Today, there were two of us women. We received an excellent welcome from both the owner and the staff. Professional, friendly, and the food was excellent. We will be back. I highly recommend it!
