09/06/2026: The staff at the till and in the dining area were very welcoming. The meat was cooked perfectly. The children's menu was a hit with the little ones. Very friendly atmosphere.

08/06/2026: The "Sporting" is ideally located. I hope this review helps the manager find a solution to the clattering of plates for customers at the back of the room. The dumbwaiter and the bar's crockery during lunch make conversation impossible. The upstairs toilets don't close properly, and a huge 7cm hole in the door, plugged with toilet paper, is not worthy of Saint-Tropez. (If this is done to prevent customers from coming to take illegal substances, then it's very well thought out and shouldn't be changed). Customers smoking on the enclosed terrace can disturb the entire dining room depending on the wind direction. But after these observations, which could be addressed 24 hours before the season by an attentive manager, the food was a real surprise with prices that aren't just for the wealthy. I insist that the food is the highlight: experience the chef's vision, and it's rare to see this emphasized. The staff is friendly. So yes, I recommend it, but not if you're sitting at the back of the room. (Tip for the waitress or waitress: don't use your fingers to put the small tomatoes that fall off the plate back in.) … One last thing, if you offered a simple, locally produced champagne at a price that would still be profitable for you, I assure you that you would have a significant turnover. Looking forward to seeing you again.

30/05/2026: Absolutely avoid this place!!! They advertise a football match on Instagram (Champions League final), the TVs have no sound for the first 30 minutes, the owner is awful to customers, pressuring every table to "order or you're out" even after meals and drinks have already been ordered. These people are damaging the image of French restaurants!!!

08/06/2026: Perfect location, clean, spacious, comfortable, and quiet room. Very friendly staff. Only drawback: lack of electrical outlets, especially near the bed.

30/04/2026: Very nice hotel and the location is amazing, wonderfull view! Great staff which is outstanding and very service minded. Great value for money. The breakfast is also very delightful. Very quiet at the hotel, and always available spots where you can sit alone and enjoy the sea view. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. I’ll come back!

30/04/2026: A very nice hotel with friendly staff. 10/10! - the food at dinner was the only minus. Pretty expensive compared to the tiny portions and even smaller menu.

29/04/2026: We loved eating a whole fish that we prepared ourselves—a sea bass in this case, which was fresh and cooked perfectly. A real treat that comes along far too rarely. The scallop tartare was also delicious.

19/04/2026: What a delight for lunch or dinner at Café Valmer! It's hard to choose, as the seafood platter is exceptional and the menu is so varied. A big thank you to the whole team, always so attentive, with a warm welcome just like Eric's. Highly recommended.

18/05/2026: We just stopped for a quick coffee and a bite on our way to Marseille. Had a chicken baguette, coffee and cannele. Food was nice and big portion, fresh baguette, normal coffee. Cannele was nice. Only downside is they dont have ceramic cups, only plastic. So yes would recommend.

09/05/2026: We've been regulars at this bakery for four years. A must-stop during our holidays in the area! Everything is delicious and fresh. We received a warm welcome from Alexandra, who was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! 👌😀

30/05/2026: Lovely setting with a beautiful view across the terrace. We booked on line but the restaurant was not at all full when we got there so we had a choice of table at the front of the terrace. The waiter was excellent and could not do enough for us; his English was so good we guessed (wrongly) he was Australian! We were a party of 6 adults. However, the food really varied in quality and enjoyment. Those who had sea bass or steak were very happy with theirs (although the sweet potato puree with the fish was cold). However, we were told after we had looked at the menu and chosen that there was no chicken so a quick change to croque monsieur truffe proved an unwise one as this was basically an untoasted ham and emmental sandwich soaked in cold truffle dressing and the chips were overcooked. For desserts the tiramisu was ok as was the brownie coup, whereas the salad de fruits was a few bits of fruit floating in a lot of water. The menu is not extensive so to have one choice unavailable and two desserts that are almost the same (brownie or brownie with ice cream and cream) was limiting. We would not return.

29/05/2026: There were very few options for vegetarians. Of the four-page menu, three pages were for drinks and one for food. There were two vegetarian dishes; the rest consisted only of meat, fish, snails, mussels, or octopus.

26/12/2025: Very good restaurant, the food is excellent, the waiters are super friendly, especially the young blond guy who's always so kind. I even bought cigarettes from him even though I don't smoke because he's so cool. I highly recommend it. Josiane, you fans, send them up the hill!

02/04/2026: Excellent restaurant, the servers were friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious. The service was incredibly fast; we barely waited 10 minutes to eat, and the desserts were superb.

15/02/2026: Dated out today for the Alpine Rally. Staff completely overwhelmed by the event and the number of people in the restaurant. 1 hour to take our order. 3 hours total for the meal. 4 requests for the menu and the same for everything else. It's a shame, the food was decent. Other people left without paying after having drinks.

29/04/2026: We stayed at this bed and breakfast this weekend and were extremely disappointed. The accommodation was dirty, poorly maintained, and frankly unwelcoming. Nothing matched the photos shown online, which are clearly misleading. There was no real common area as advertised, which was also a nasty surprise. As for the paid breakfast, it was unacceptable: for two people and for two days, we only received three madeleines, a few tea bags, and a few coffee pods. Nothing was replenished despite our waiting, which is really unacceptable for a paid service. Considering the price and the promises made, the experience was very disappointing. I do not recommend this establishment.

10/06/2026: Fabulous fresh fish restaurant well attended by locals in à njce setting with great views across the marina and bay. Really good food well served at reasonable prices. What more could you ask for?! Give it a try!

31/05/2026: I was very disappointed by my experience at this restaurant. I chose the aioli, a dish that normally requires flavor and care, but here it was completely tasteless. The sauce was sorely lacking in garlic and character. The vegetables were served cold, which really didn't help in enjoying the dish, and the fish was bland, without any real flavor. The whole thing gave the impression of a careless meal, far from what one would expect. It's a shame, because this type of cuisine can be excellent when well executed, but that was clearly not the case here. Furthermore, it was very busy that day, a clear organizational problem; we had to wait an hour (after calling the owner) to be served! I hope my review is helpful.

24/01/2026: IN JANUARY: Huge parking lot not far away, accessible by tractor-trailer, perfect for an overnight stop. I arrived tired, and the welcome was simple, efficient, and nonetheless warm. My room (number 2) was spacious, the bathroom small but functional. I had a last-minute meal, but I was served as if I were eating at my sister's house (basic but simple and efficient). Back on the first floor, I was able to access the small street behind the house through a coded door to have a smoke. Back in my room, I had a TV opposite the bed, reversible air conditioning, and good quality bedding and pillows. I woke up feeling refreshed! 🤩 Breakfast was very nice and well-stocked. I recommend it and thank all the staff and the owner who were so friendly and down-to-earth in a family atmosphere. This establishment truly lives up to its name.
