13/08/2026: A small but very handy shop. The owner is lovely and always happy to advise on the local and artisanal products he offers. Depending on what's available, he also carries croutons from the baker, which go perfectly with a delicious tapenade!

17/09/2026: We have been coming here for several years during our holidays. We feel that the service, in particular, is declining; they are busy with acquaintances sitting there and then have no time for other customers. It is a shame, as it is a nice terrace on a cozy square.

17/09/2026: I've been coming to this brasserie forever, and I really wanted to leave a review since the arrival of the new chef, Wad, I think. Since he's been here, I've never eaten so well! You can really taste the difference, both in the quality of the food and in the attention paid to the customers. He's incredibly attentive and especially considerate of everyone's preferences. When he knows what you like to eat, he remembers and pays attention to every detail to make you happy. It's exactly these kinds of little touches that make all the difference and make you want to come back even more. A real asset to the establishment, well done to him! 👏🏼 And of course, I give him 5/5; he's my favorite chef, as I always tell him!

22/08/2026: We were very disappointed : by the food, and even more by the service. When we politely pointed out that the main course wasn’t good (crunchy mushrooms and a far too salty sauce), we were first laughed at, then talked down to and openly insulted by the owners: a couple who clearly cannot take the slightest criticism. That was our only “mistake”: mentioning a small issue with the mushrooms. The manageress asked us scornfully, “You ate them anyway, didn’t you?” Well, yes … after a 1 hour 40 minute wait, we were hungry. And when we mentioned how long we had waited, the couple became defensive and openly aggressive. We paid €286 for four people for a very average meal and appalling service. This restaurant does not deserve its Michelin Bib Gourmand.

12/06/2026: Fine older, family operated hotel in a unique location. Restaurant is fantastic, but be sure to reserve in advance and take the time to consider the menu in advance!

02/06/2026: If there was a hotel star for hospitality, this hotel would have 5! We arrived at 9am, with 2 motorbikes and luggage, tired and hungry from an overnight ferry journey. Reception could not have been warmer: have some breakfast, private parking for the bikes and your room is ready. Now that is special. Hotel is charming and you will already know there is no lift: our room was as advertised and the best view of any hotel over Sanary Harbour. Rooms are excellent value for money. The restaurant (closed Tuesday) is easily the best place to eat in Sanary. This hotel is a real gem, run by a genuinely warm hotel family team. We cannot wait to return - and check in at a more normal time !

28/09/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A true institution in Sainte-Maxime! ❤️ As a resident of Sainte-Maxime for many years, Café Maxime is definitely one of those must-visit spots that I love to return to year after year. I go there very regularly, especially for my own little treat: a vegan hot chocolate 😊, but also to share a moment with friends. And what I particularly appreciate is the consistency in quality and service. From one year to the next, nothing changes: the staff is always pleasant, smiling, and helpful, and you simply feel at home. The food is also excellent, with delicious dishes and very good value for money, which is becoming rare enough to be worth mentioning. It's a place that's part of the life of Sainte-Maxime, an iconic café where people love to return for a drink, lunch, a coffee, or simply to share a good time. Thank you to the whole team for your consistency, your warm welcome, and your good humor over the years. It's also thanks to establishments like Café Maxime that our town maintains this wonderful sense of community. An address I wholeheartedly recommend, both to the locals of Sainte-Maxime and to those who come to discover the town. ❤️

26/09/2026: Quick service. Server availability was fine. But they don't accept credit cards for amounts under €4.00... and then charge a 10-cent surcharge at the card machine... That's petty... What a shame...

30/09/2026: A magnificent restaurant in an ideal location, with breathtaking sea views. Refined cuisine, impeccable service, and prices on the higher end of average. A very pleasant setting, perfect for a little treat.

30/09/2026: I stopped there by chance, and I confess, I wasn't prepared for what awaited me at the table. A very warm welcome, a well-stocked menu, and very pleasant and friendly staff. But where I wasn't prepared was on the plate. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was delicious, a real treat, and generous portions. Special mention to the lobster, which completely blew my mind 😂. The expression "I stuffed myself" took on a whole new meaning 😂. The chef almost made me question whether or not I should order dessert. That's rare for me 😂. Luckily, they have a good selection of ice cream. I hadn't planned on taking a nap that day, but after my visit to Auberge Fleurie, it was essential. Thank you to the whole team, and see you soon, for sure!

09/09/2026: We came for lunch and it was absolutely delicious. Our local taxi driver Agnés recommended it and she was absolutely right to say it is one of her favourites. The moules frites and steak tartare were delicious, and the lobster was huge, with lots of meat in it. Would recommend to anyone who is staying in Fayence.

08/09/2026: I'm not usually one to leave many comments on Google Maps. But I feel compelled to share my experience at this restaurant today – if only to prevent others from having the same experience. First, the positives: The menu is perfectly fine; everyone is sure to find something they like. The prices are fair, and the food quality is acceptable. However, the service was completely unacceptable during our visit. Initially, everything went relatively quickly; we were able to order drinks and food (three main courses, a set menu). But then things went downhill. The bottle of water we ordered only arrived after we asked for it three times, as did one of the main courses. The ketchup we ordered for the fries never arrived, nor did the dessert, which was supposed to be part of the set menu. After waiting an hour, when I insisted, the now clearly offended server wordlessly slammed the dessert menu down on the table – even though, as I said, we had already ordered dessert. When we paid, the owner tried to excuse himself by saying there were "simply too many people." In reality, at most two-thirds of the tables were occupied. My impression was that yet another particularly "clever" restaurateur was cutting corners on service. He can get away with it with us tourists, I suppose. But usually, only once.
