12/10/2024: Nous n’étions pas revenu dans ce Bar-Brasserie-Glacier-Cocktail, institution Sanaryenne, du Café de Lyon, au 2 du Quai Charles de Gaulle, depuis les travaux, colossaux, de l’aménagement, piétonnier, et embellissement, de la grand place du port, qui avait nécessité la fermeture des bars et restaurants et commerces. Rehaussement du quai de 40 cm pour les risques de submersion, en recouvrant la pierre froide, existante, auto-stabilisante, d’une pierre naturelle, esthétique, claire, et fonctionnelle, sur 8000 m2, avec un légère pente de collecte des eaux de ruissellement. Le couvert végétal a été renforcé d’une trentaine d’arbres, avec des grandes jardinières de verdure, des bancs et des assises et la réinstallation des deux fontaines, rénovées. Sa terrasse est agrandie, avec un sol en grès cérame, et une grande pergola, entièrement vitrée. Une décoration revue et modernisée, aux coloris tendance, corail et bleu canard, et des petits aménagements floraux sur les tables et des coussins dans les sièges, le bar est habillé de bois et une verrière dévoile sa cuisine. Revenons à notre Café de Lyon, qui a été créé en 2005, soit 19 ans d’une gestion familiale, qui a repris sont activité de naguère, en restauration de bouches. Confortablement Installés sur une table ronde de 4, située à côté de l’armoire-cave et aimablement servis par Stephane, nous avons, pris notre petit déjeuner complet, à 10,00 €, avec une boisson chaude (Café, thé, chocolat), un Chouchou de Provence, une sucrette en poudre, un verre de jus d’orange, une verre d’eau, une viennoiserie (Croissant), deux tartines de pain(Baguette), deux beurres (Doux et Demi-sel), deux confitures (Abricot, Fraise), une pâte à tartiner(Nutella), une petite serviette papier. Un copieux petit-déjeuner, bien installés, avec cette vue, encore plus dégagée, sur le port piéton et les bateaux.

26/09/2024: Second experience in this restaurant and the last. A month ago the dish served was cold and poorly cooked…. This can happen in the middle of the summer, no excuses from management. Today, 09/26/24, I ordered a red martini, it was served to me extremely diluted, pink in color and tasteless. I let the waiter know….I’m still waiting for his response. Obviously I believe that this establishment takes tourists for pigeons to be plucked! It’s a shame the town of Sanary deserves much better!

04/09/2024: Had a great burger, served by a very friendly lady. Can absolutely recommend it.

24/08/2024: Good offer for families. Went here for dinner while passing through. Restaurant was completely full. We still only waited about twenty minutes for the food. Salad was fresh. Portions were large. Prices were completely fine.

18/09/2024: I came one evening and one afternoon. Nothing to say. Good quality products, the presentation of the dishes is exceptionally refined, with a nice quantity on the plates. Attentive staff and an intimate setting on the terrace. I highly recommend this address.

11/09/2024: 9 of us went to this restaurant, we had to wait at least 15 minutes for someone to come and take our drink orders, hastily and incompletely. It was only the beginning of a very long evening full of anticipation…. After waiting 30 minutes for someone to come and take our food order, we waited almost an hour to be served... the aperitif glasses were never cleared from the table even though the two waiters were on duty. chatting behind the bar, we took care of it ourselves to make some space but that didn't bother them. When the dishes arrived, after an hour, one was missing which only arrived after everyone had finished eating, and again, the cooking of the meat was not as requested. After several complaints, a person who seemed to be the manager very generously offered to offer us a bottle…. Sparkling water!! Too bad we were no longer thirsty... A wasted moment, beyond a possible difficulty or a lack of staff in the kitchen which could be understandable if explained, the quality of service was mediocre and the sense of business was zero.

04/09/2024: A varied menu and delicious dishes served by a smiling team in a friendly atmosphere and what's more you can dance until dawn!!. I recommend!

08/03/2025: Just for your information, this restaurant is currently under construction following its sale. We will have to see what will be offered at this address in the future.

21/08/2024: J’ai pris des encornets farcis c’était super bon. Mon fils escalope Milanaise a trouvé que c’était un peu sec mais bon. Mon mari a trouvé son entrecôte moyenne. Les frites étaient bonnes. Mon fils a pris une mousse Choco pas terrible. Chèques déjeuner accepté. Par contre on avait réservé à 19h30 et on a été servi à 20h45 !!! C’était super long. Les gens pensaient qu’on les avait oublié !!!

20/08/2024: low-end dishes at substantial prices. very noisy terrace due to its edge of the road. we arrive for the 2nd service at 9:30 p.m. having reserved, and the waiters tell us that we can no longer have a menu and that there are no more starters. working in catering I had never seen that. Waiters in a hurry and not very understanding, I do not recommend.

07/11/2024: Nous y sommes allés pour manger des glaces comme à notre habitude lors de nos vacances ds la region. La serveuse très désagréable , elle a commencé en ns jetant un : y a plus ts les parfums. Ok mais alors que reste t'il ? Je passe les détails de toute l histoire, nous sommes partis sans avoir pu commander nos glaces. Pour ma part j étais assez content, ayant été malade lors de ma dernière visite. Que cette dame change de métier. Elle oublie que ceux sont les clients qui lui donnent du travail. A méditer...

12/10/2024: Que dire, je pense que cela à été repris, le service n'est plus comme avant, salle avec 5 personnes, cartes sales, tables pas nettoyé, ma glace que je prend depuis des années "poussin bleu", ressemble plus à une glace avec un brol bleu dessus qui ne ressemble plus du tout à un poussin "voir photo 2023 et 2021", la glace est moins gouteuse et plus "a l"eau".........., bref je ne pense y retourner, dommage. 09.2024

25/09/2024: Very well located hotel, on the beach. Very good breakfast, friendly staff. The hotel is a little old and therefore quite noisy.

23/09/2024: This hotel could be a gem, great location, shame bathroom to be reviewed including the taps. On the other hand, no luck the 2 nights spent in the hotel with a nauseating smell of sewer, obviously a difficult problem to resolve but the boss could have made a commercial gesture, not even an apology.

20/09/2024: Getting worse and worse 😵‍💫 after 50 minutes of waiting the dishes arrive cold, nothing is homemade, Overpriced for tasteless food! 5€ a disgusting pressure that he doesn't charge (at the blak)... like many other things that aren't counted at the cash register! A ursaf check would do them good... Avoid without hesitation.....
