The service is impeccable; the team is welcoming, friendly, and attentive. It's a real pleasure to return every year. Everything is perfect, from the welcome to the food. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!

18/05/2026: The building is incredible, the welcome is very warm, the view from the restaurant, the spa (which I highly recommend, especially for the Nordic bath and its mountain view), and the rooms (we had a deluxe room) is simply sublime, no noise, the breakfast is very good and the room is magnificent, we loved it!!

16/08/2026: The welcome and service were very warm, and they were very accommodating with our baby :) The interior dining room and toilets are a bit dated, but the dishes we chose were delicious and generous, at a very reasonable price (Champsaur salad with tourtons and cured ham for €17; ravioli gratin with ceps for €23).

23/07/2026: Overall rating: 3/5 for dinner on July 18, 2026 The owner was very friendly and possessed genuine human qualities (he let us taste the wine before choosing the bottle, an excellent choice for this local vintage from the Hautes-Alpes). The rest of the dish and the dessert were also very good. The only drawback, and a significant one at that, was the sirloin steak. Although cooked rare as requested, it was not at all tender, which is a real shame for such a cut of beef. It was my 50th birthday, and I greatly appreciated the sparkling candle thoughtfully placed on my dessert. However, I mentioned the problem with the meat to the waiter and the owner, but no compensation was offered. This is regrettable, because otherwise, I would gladly have given it 5/5. I had even planned to treat myself to a nice digestif for the occasion, but the disappointment put me off. I left feeling a little disappointed. The owner replied on July 21st (see below). Here is my new message on July 23rd: Hello, Thank you for your thoughtful reply. We are still in the area for a few more days. Unfortunately, we won't be able to come back for dinner: besides the cost, the €120 bill is a significant sum for us, and we live in Brittany, 1000 km away. It's a shame that the appropriate response you mentioned could only take the form of another invitation to dine with you. However, if the opportunity arises to simply stop by and say hello and share a quick drink, we would be delighted. It would be a nice way to end this experience on a more positive note.
