14/10/2025: It was so good, that i forgot to take pictures of the main dishes. Only remembered to take pictures at the dessert time.
Look at how beautiful, they are, it has a taste like rewarded pastries award.

20/01/2026: I've been coming to this Japanese restaurant for decades, and frankly, it's a sure thing. The all-you-can-eat formula is excellent value for money. The food is consistently well-prepared and always of high quality. I've never had a problem or gotten sick, which is definitely not the case with all all-you-can-eat restaurants. You know what to expect, and you always leave satisfied. It's simple, efficient, and reliable, even after all these years.

Croque monsieur dry...no béchamel...don't warn you of course and when you point out to them that it's dry and not soft, they tell you that they never use béchamel...and that the dry croque monsieur made without....
On the other hand, you collect cash...without offering you anything...to avoid

12/06/2025: Expensive and average quality food. Worse, I ordered a rum baba, and they delivered something that looked like a dry savarin with syrup. Where was the rum? Well, I'm still looking for it. Even supermarket baba is better. So if you want to snog on the terrace, that'll do. If you want to eat well, go elsewhere.
09/06/2025: We arrived for Happy Hour at 7:40 pm. After waving at the servers several times, a waiter came to take our order at 8:03 pm, telling us that Happy Hour was at 8 pm! How dishonest!

14/09/2025: Good restaurant with varied dishes and prices lower than those of nearby restaurants.
The server went to help in the kitchen, which surprised and frightened us a little. In the end, we all enjoyed our dishes, with appropriate portions and the meat cooked to perfection. The beef tartare was well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. The option of two sides is very much appreciated.
A good place.

10/01/2026: For my first visit, I received a very warm welcome. The staff explained the dishes patiently and kindly. The ingredients are fresh and the prices are very reasonable, especially given the current rising cost of living. I would recommend this place without hesitation.
02/01/2026: Very disappointing. The food clearly lacked freshness and flavor, the dishes were too greasy and served lukewarm. The service was slow and inattentive, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. The prices are high for the quality offered. I do not recommend it and I will not return.

12/11/2025: The setting is beautiful, but we were all very disappointed. The service is not up to the standards of a Michelin-starred restaurant... The food was decent! ... But the wine cellar is excellent.
12/10/2025: An ideal place for a birthday party, with a large room and terrace. The welcome was friendly and the service discreet and efficient. The buffet and punch were very much appreciated.
Rare in the Paris region.

14/01/2026: We had a lovely lunch at Le Fruit Défendu on Sunday. The staff were attentive and welcoming. The dishes were beautifully presented, generous, and truly delicious. Personally, I couldn't resist the profiteroles, and I wasn't disappointed—they were simply sublime.
Note: The restaurant entrance is a small door on the side; don't expect a large main entrance. Once inside, the atmosphere is very cozy.
30/11/2025: I stayed at Le Fruit Défendu for 10 months and appreciated the peace and quiet, the charm of the place with its gardens, lounges, and of course the studio itself. Its location along the Seine is ideal, and for fresh air and running, there's the Jardin de la Plaine des Closeaux, the Jardin des Impressionnistes, the tennis courts, and the excellent service from the manager and staff. The food is superb. Thank you.
