We sat there on the terrace for ten long minutes of silence, waiting for a simple hello, a glance, a sign of humanity. The terrace wasn't even full, but for some, attention seems to be distributed according to criteria the heart should never know. Seeing others arrive after us, greeted with a smile, while our presence seemed invisible, reminds us of a sad truth: some people judge before they even know us. And this kind of contempt says nothing about us; it only reveals the inner poverty of the one who displays it. Life has taught me one thing: elegance isn't worn in clothes; it's seen in the way we treat others. True greatness is recognized in the respect shown to everyone, without distinction. Then some people are surprised that they no longer receive a tip, without understanding that a tip doesn't just reward service, but above all, an attitude. Respect is sown before it is reaped. I will not return, not out of anger, but on principle. For one can serve coffee without warmth, but one can never build a place without humanity.

15/03/2026: Great food and something new: they've just opened a real Asian grocery store where you can find products from many different countries, and even hot mochi just like in Japan. Lots of Japanese products, which is great because you usually only find them online. The products are high quality and the prices are more than reasonable! There's a wide selection of instant noodles. They also have plenty of Chinese products, which is a great way to discover different foods. Each product has a label in French, and the best thing to do is ask for advice! 😀

11/12/2024: The 8 hot wings were replaced by crispy goat cheese :/ the onion rings on the other hand were tasty, I enjoyed it!

From the moment you arrive, the welcome is warm, friendly, and ultra-professional: attentive, helpful, and above all, genuinely pleasant servers, which is becoming rare and deserves to be highlighted both in Paris and elsewhere in France. In the kitchen, the standard is just as high. The chef and his team deliver masterful, precise, and generous cuisine, where each dish reflects true expertise and a homemade touch. The quality is consistent, the flavors are spot-on, and the cooking is perfectly executed—you can feel a real dedication and passion for the craft. The whole experience is seamless and elegant, in a pleasant yet unpretentious setting, equally suited to business lunches and more personal moments of enjoyment. La Terrasse de l’Arche is not just a very good restaurant in La Défense; it's a benchmark. A restaurant I recommend without hesitation. Although we have recently started frequenting your establishment with colleagues, the overall atmosphere is not ideal, particularly due to the constant presence of certain individuals near the bar and the resulting inappropriate and insulting verbal exchanges.

21/03/2026: In terms of friendliness and customer service, it's a concept. At 11 a.m., we asked if we could sit down for a coffee in the sun. The curt reply: "No." Apparently, the sun is reserved for mealtimes… Too bad, we weren't planning on staying until dinner!

03/01/2026: The place is very clean, but the woman who works in the morning is racist. My colleagues and I went for coffee two days in a row, and her attitude towards us was harsh and her air very haughty. It's a shame that there are people like her in France; we just wanted service.

28/10/2025: I don't recommend it... upon entering, there was a musty smell in this restaurant where there were only two customers on a Saturday night... the waitress got the entire order wrong. For my son, who doesn't like Chinese dumplings, I asked if it was possible to have spring rolls instead from the set menu, but she refused outright, even though it was only 50 cents more, which I would have gladly paid. I had to order à la carte: €8.50 for a portion of fried rice! The atmosphere was very cold... I won't be going back.

18/12/2024: I'm always disappointed when I come to this McDonald's. It takes forever to be served, at least 20 minutes after ordering! There is always something missing in this. Today, I almost left without my McFlurry. The restaurant is really dirty and the atmosphere is not great. Fortunately, the staff is quite nice. I really go to this McDonald's for convenience.

18/12/2024: The slowest McDonald's I've ever seen. And an employee takes the liberty of complaining about the crowd in front of the counter. Sorry but we're hungry, it's normal to be a little worried when two thirds of a meal break is spent waiting for an order that drags on. Only positive point: As no one was willing to make me pay for my order I was able to leave without remorse and go to another McDonald's that was managed correctly. (I should point out that this is not a single experience but just one too many times. This McDonald's has been slow for at least 8 years, even outside of peak hours)

28/04/2026: Great coffee, fast service, and friendly staff. I came for lunch with my parents and my 5-month-old daughter without any problems; I was able to change her diaper thanks to the changing area in the women's restroom. Thank you for this lovely family moment in a pleasant setting with nice decor 👍🏻 Just one suggestion: perhaps provide air freshener in the restrooms... 😅

22/04/2026: I lived in Issy for 27 years and was a regular at this café. The one-star rating is mainly due to the prices: an espresso for €2.60… are you out of your mind? This price is typical of other places. It's even more expensive than in Paris, even on the most beautiful squares in the capital. There's no excuse, it's shameful.

No more separators so that, despite the care of the delivery people, the skewers and sautéed potatoes are swimming in the neck. Although I appreciate your cuisine and loyal customer via UBER EATS, I am not sure I will renew. 2 attempts and the same result at the finish
