The banquettes are comfortable, and the background music, at just the right volume for me, perfectly complemented my beer. In short, nothing extraordinary, but everything was perfect. If I'm ever in the neighborhood again, I'll gladly return. It's a shame the area is ruined by the noise of the cars, which take up all the space. A terrace would be perfect! Thank you!

09/03/2026: I'd wanted to try the Hippopotamus in Rueil-Malmaison for a long time, and I finally did on a Sunday evening. What can I say about the floor? It was a complete disaster, with many missing wooden planks hidden under rugs. The dishes were fresh and tasty, but not very generous. The dessert was a bit of a letdown, but quickly rectified. The waitstaff was excellent, always smiling and taking the time to check on us. A few small things to improve: they should use paper straws in all the cocktails, offer larger portions, and perhaps even implement the Hippopotamus loyalty program.

18/01/2026: It is regrettable to note the lack of respect shown by the immature young man working at the bar towards the customers. Although we have recently started frequenting your establishment with colleagues, the overall atmosphere is not ideal, particularly due to the constant presence of certain individuals near the bar and the resulting inappropriate and insulting verbal exchanges.

Incomplete orders, a spilled drink because the bag wasn't packed properly, and to top it all off, the server put a sauce that exploded in the bag and then caught me at the door saying, "Sorry, the sauce exploded, here's another one," instead of changing the bag. In short, there are other restaurants nearby to avoid, and you should double-check your order.

28/05/2026: I was particularly impressed by the incredibly efficient lunchtime service at this bakery. A dedicated team of at least three people handles the takeaway menus exclusively, ensuring remarkable organization and exemplary speed, even during peak hours. The sandwiches are generously filled and very tasty, the prepared dishes are of excellent quality, and the pastries are simply exceptional. Special mention goes to the Chiboust tart, a refined and delicious dessert that will stay with you long after the credits roll. A professional establishment where speed, freshness, and excellence come together. I highly recommend this place.
