15/08/2026: We ordered from Uber Eats (we tried this restaurant because our usual Japanese restaurants are closed during the summer) and what a disappointment: - the karaage chicken was overcooked, - the miso soup was really not very good. Plus, it arrived cold even though the delivery was quite fast, - the salmon and avocado California rolls (8 pieces, set menu) contained mayonnaise even though it wasn't mentioned anywhere, and the filling was very sparse. The only good thing was the rice and the fact that chopsticks and paper towels were included. For the same price, you can find much better elsewhere without even having to go far.

14/08/2026: Uber Eats order, Fast delivery But: - Karage chicken was burnt to a crisp - California roll with salmon and avocado, but they added mayonnaise inside, I don't understand 😅 we didn't even eat it Disappointing for our first order...

28/07/2026: I ordered the 20-piece California roll meal. The sushi pieces were tiny. The rice was dry and the ingredients didn't seem fresh.

03/08/2026: I was very disappointed by the service I received. When I asked to use the restroom, the waitress asked me if I was ordering anything. I honestly replied that I wasn't. She then told me, in a rather unwelcoming tone, to read the sign right in front of me stating that the restrooms were reserved for customers. I completely understand that an establishment might reserve its restrooms for its customers. However, the way this was said to me lacked courtesy and consideration. I simply replied, "No thanks, that's fine," and left. What's a shame is that I used to come here occasionally for a drink. After this reception and this refusal, I have absolutely no desire to go back. Rules are one thing, but the way people are treated is quite another. Just a few meters away, a small Asian restaurant greeted me with a smile and very kindly opened its doors to allow me to use the restroom, without any discussion or negotiation. This difference in attitude speaks volumes about their sense of hospitality and service. Unfortunately, that's what I'll remember most about this experience.

19/06/2026: Another great time spent at the Brasserie de l'Hôtel de Ville. Excellent food. Alex, the owner, is always smiling and welcoming. You feel right at home... I highly recommend it!

26/05/2026: How can I express our disappointment? On Monday, May 25th, we received confirmation of our reservation around 5:00 PM, stating that we were expected at 8:30 PM. What a nasty surprise to arrive at Café Émile and find it closed. I am extremely disappointed and will not be recommending this establishment. And they offered no apology whatsoever.

16/06/2026: Don't go there! I ordered a mushroom pizza. When the delivery driver arrived, my pizza was missing. After waiting an hour, I called to cancel my order. My family had already finished eating, and they refused to offer any compensation. In short, avoid this place and stay away!

14/12/2025: My wife and I had a wonderful time in a very pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend Catherine's massages, which were divine after an hour in the hammam. The brunch was generous, at least for us. Thank you for your hospitality.

07/12/2025: ⛔ 1 star My experience at this establishment was unforgettable...and not in a good way ❌ ⚠️ If you're looking for a Christmas gift for a loved one...read my review first! 1️⃣ Before arriving First contact by phone, the tone is set. The voucher was valid until December 31st, making it impossible to book for January 3rd...that is, 3 days after the expiry date. Rules are rules (even if one might expect a little flexibility and empathy from this kind of establishment...) I book. 2️⃣ Arrival Upon arrival, the tone is confirmed: say goodbye to relaxation. I sensed a directive tone (am I here to relax?), which struck me as slightly haughty and patronizing (maybe just an off day, we're all human! Let's stay positive to enjoy the rest of this experience). 3️⃣ The Facilities Old-fashioned wooden doors that don't close, broken toilets, a temperature of around 20°C in the relaxation area, supposedly a power outage... well, it continues... the barge seemed poorly maintained, perhaps I came on a bad day (Sunday)?... But hey, maybe it's still possible to have a good time, let's hope so 🤞🏻! 4️⃣ Hammam... A real heatwave 🔥, that's for sure! Be careful not to step on the scalding jets, which aren't protected ⚠️ How clumsy of me... the jet wasn't quite at the far end as the manager indicated, but a bit more in the middle, so when I tried to put my flip-flop back on... ouch! A very bad burn (later confirmed by my doctor). 30 minutes of cold water and still in so much pain. 5️⃣ Shaking, on the verge of fainting, thank goodness the manager was there: she called the fire department and promised to reschedule my relaxation time, apologizing profusely... 🥁 And no! - A "sorry, but there were signs" - A 3-minute break, a glass of water and a compress, then - Are you ready for your massage? Um...is this a joke? No compensation whatsoever, and I thought it would have been possible to reschedule given the burn and my condition...how naive I am. So you can imagine the experience I had. I felt a lack of empathy in how the situation was handled. This kind of establishment doesn't seem conducive to relaxation. 🍞 Bonus: the brunch consists of bottled orange juice (like the kind you get at Carrefour), tea, a croissant, a piece of cheese with scrambled eggs, a small spring roll and a small samosa, and a fruit salad. You can make up your own mind about it. For the sake of transparency: I never give reviews behind the establishment's back. I always prefer to discuss things with those directly involved first. The situation was ignored. "Management can't do anything." "We can't put any protection on the nozzles, they would overheat..." So I'm sharing my experience here.

01/07/2026: There must have been a change in the chocolate éclair recipe. It's now very average and much smaller compared to a few months ago!

28/06/2026: Today, Sunday, June 28th, my mother was sold completely spoiled mille-feuilles. The worst I've ever eaten. Like cardboard. Not fresh at all. It's a disgrace considering the price. And the hygiene is highly questionable. I understand that the heatwave is impacting businesses, but please keep some standards in mind...

30/05/2026: One of the worst restaurants I've ever been to served us Coca-Cola when we ordered Coca-Cola Zero. It only arrived 35 minutes after we ordered, and they said the fryer was broken. Why couldn't they have served us sooner?

22/05/2026: The chef himself ran the entire place. He was very kind and you could tell he loved this place. The food was delicious, the steaks were first-rate – and the side dishes were also lovely.

19/06/2026: Disappointing, the service needs improvement! Our salads were brought without bread, forcing us to go and beg for some. Four measly pieces of bread for four salads with burrata. The waitress removed the water carafe, saying she was bringing us another bottle of water, which we're still waiting for! We're still waiting for the dessert options. We ended up paying without having ordered dessert. The bill was as poor as the service itself: bland and inconsiderate! That was the last time...

12/06/2026: This is my third time here for a leaving party, and the head waiter's friendliness is still just as bad. If you don't want to serve people, find another job instead of being so unpleasant and sarcastic. The same goes for comments about customers' drink choices. At least have the decency to wait until customers have left before commenting. Frankly, there's another bar 45 seconds away where the welcome and service are much better.

13/09/2025: I had a wonderful time at this Italian restaurant! The welcome was warm and the service impeccable, with a smiling and attentive team. The dishes were simply delicious: perfectly cooked fresh pasta and flavorful pizzas. The portions are generous and the value for money is excellent. 11/08/2026: A true neighborhood brasserie, just the way we like them. A friendly atmosphere, pleasant service, and generous portions of simple, well-prepared, and unpretentious dishes. It's the kind of place you can come to for lunch or drinks, with a relaxed atmosphere and good value for money. A reliable choice in Boulogne, particularly appreciated for its authentic and consistent service.
