01/09/2025: I fully agree with the opinion expressed regarding the dangerous nature of this town's public lighting. It is indeed deplorable to sacrifice the safety of those who frequent this village by plunging it into complete darkness when so many vehicles and pedestrians are out and about after dark. Regarding the frequent and significant noise pollution caused by motorcycles and scooters with modified exhausts, the lax attitude of the town hall and law enforcement is also surprising and unacceptable.

30/08/2025: Having frequented this town for many years, one can only deplore the extremely high noise pollution caused by the same two-wheelers, almost exhaust-free, polluting the area near the McDonald's day and night. When will the mayor and the police react to put an end to this noise pollution, which harms residents and tourists alike? The regulations exist; a little courage, Madam Mayor. Fines and immobilization are needed so that everyone can regain the peace and quiet that these polluters disturb. Furthermore, at nightfall, traffic in this town is VERY DANGEROUS given the total lack of street lighting, particularly at the large roundabout serving the Carrefour shopping area and the future Lidl. The lighting infrastructure exists, but it seems that the town hall is prioritizing the safety of pedestrians, drivers, and their passengers. The area is frequented by pedestrians, with a bus stop, and road traffic is quite heavy with vehicles arriving from the expressway and other towns within the Château Malo area. The situation worsens further at the Carrefour gas station, before reaching a second, equally dark roundabout that serves the McDonald's and the B&B hotel, whose sign is the only source of light for 300 meters. In terms of visibility, entering St Jouans at the car dealership is just as dangerous, with the same complete lack of lighting. The road narrowing bollards are unmarked and have no reflective features. Traveling on the sidewalks is also problematic; the unevenness is invisible, and you risk running into the raised concrete flower boxes at any moment. TO SUM UP, GOOD LUCK WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT ST JOUANS DES GUERETS AT NIGHT, YOU ARE PLAYING YOUR PHYSICAL INTEGRITY ON A TOSS OR TAILS, IT'S A LITTLE LIKE KOH LANTA, ONLY WORSE. SMALL CONSOLATION, IN A FEW YEARS, THE FUTURE HOSPITAL WILL NOT BE FAR AWAY!!!!!

Deserts are delicious Great decor and ambiance Kind helpful staff Will cater for vegetarians and gluten free Highly recommend well worth a visit Probably best to book

13/08/2024: Cadre très agréable avec vue sur la Rance. Un peu long pour passer commande mais après le service est très rapide. De bons produits frais et locaux, parfait pour passer une soirée d'été avec le couché de soleil

11/05/2024: 3 adultes d’ici 20 minutes c’est possible ! « Oui à quel nom ? » Nous voilà arrivés au milieu d’un petit village tranquille. Dès l’entrée nous avons les Bonjour de l’équipe et l’on nous propose une jolie petite table ronde pour 3 avec vue d’ensemble sur le village. La terrasse est très belle, le gris clair des tables épouse a merveille les confortables chaises jaunes. Une petite mise en bouche. Une entrée pour 3. 3 brochettes de bœuf, 1 dessert pour 3 et 2 cafés 1 thé plus tard, le repas est terminé. Les plats étaient savoureux, bien présentés, incluaient un petit peu de salade. Le service était rapide (il est vrai que nous sommes arrivés sans personne d’autre que nous). Le personnel chaleureux et bienveillant. Merci

18/07/2024: Ca c’est le Liban. Les plats sont superbes. Copieux. Généreux. Et madame la patronne est douce et souriante. Terrasse dans une rue passagère agréable en été même si l’été tarde à venir. Ajoutez à cela un vin local libanais très bon aussi. C’était top. Merci.

02/07/2024: Gran pequeño lugar que no apareció en el mapa de Trip Advisor. . : ( El Camembert horneado estaba DELICIOSO. Mi esposa tomó la ensalada Romana y disfrutó de cada bocado. También elogió el café.

12/08/2024: Nous avons appréciés le cadre, la musique ,ainsi que l'accueil aux bars. Espace très convivial. Dimanche il y avait un orchestre au top. Nous reviendrons .
