The brooch is magnificent come around 11:45 a.m. you will see a real homemade brooch
Which makes you want to eat
The filling is generous
The very friendly staff are a treat
08/09/2024: I've been coming to this restaurant since I was little, for a while it hasn't been the same people, every time I go there it has pancakes but it's reserved for certain apparently unacceptable customers!

15/09/2024: We arrived at the restaurant, I can't tell you if the dishes are good because we weren't able to book (we went there at noon for the evening) and with an icy air the woman replied that they were closed this evening! (We wouldn't have gone there even if she had accepted given the smell of cigarettes/and I don't know what other horror that hovered in the restaurant!) I advise you to avoid the place! The lady is cold, unfriendly... in short... a lousy welcome!!!

12/08/2024: Warm welcome, friendly atmosphere and good food (Italian salad, bacon gnocchi with chorizo sauce, crème brûlée and raspberry speculoos tiramisu). Very good place for a simple lunch break, on the shaded terrace. THANKS !

18/08/2024: I totally recommend this establishment. Every year we go to Alpe d’Huez and we never miss an opportunity to go to the Eight Bar. The atmosphere is great, the staff are really great (especially Jade!) and the place is more than friendly! We will come back without hesitation. 31/07/2024: Clean restaurant with terrace with sofa. We came after closing but they still accepted us. There were 3 of us and a child. We had 3 crispy salads and for the child, a Bambino menu based on pizza and a misterfreeze. It's rare that I eat a salad this good, I come from Lyon, to have a salad this full and this good, you have to pay a lot of money. For all that, as well as two cold espresso coffees and 1 tiramisu, we got the sum of €68. I recommend.

09/09/2024: INCONTOURNABLE nous y sommes en ce moment pour accompagner un cousin (cure) tout y est parfait le restaurant vraiment parfait un accueil chaleureux et souriant l’hôtel parfait très propre !!! Au petit soin et très professionnel !! Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement !! Nous devons l’habitude et voyageons beaucoup il fait parti des meilleurs merci 🙏

04/09/2024: Super disappointed. The comments were good but unfortunately we paid 44 euros for a menu for 2 mid-bars! I don't think I've ever seen sushi this small... it was for 2 children in total. So frankly yes it was good but no it was not worth the price or the trip!
01/09/2024: A very good time... the dishes are prepared in front of us and the chef is very pleasant and skilled with his knives. The flavors are present and the cooking is perfect... We recommend it and we will definitely come back.

27/09/2024: The donut was incredibly soft, with just the right amount of crunch on the outside and a perfectly sweet glaze. Every bite was a real gourmet pleasure! As for the smoothie, it was exceptionally fresh, well balanced between sweetness and acidity, with natural fruity flavors that blended wonderfully. A perfect duo for a successful gourmet break!
