27/08/2024: Very nice welcome, friendly staff. Impeccable service. I tasted the dish of the day of pork, carrot puree and fries, very very good. A good beer and a homemade hummus as a starter, it was excellent. For dessert, finally a real slice of blueberry pie which was to die for. Thank you very much to the team.

19/08/2024: Nous avons déjeuner en famille, accueil chaleureux et équipements nécessaires pour enfants et bébés ( chaises hautes, table à langer, menu enfant). Des plats copieux et très bons nous avons passé un très bon moment.

05/09/2024: My first time at the brasserie Fantin Latour for lunch, it was an exceptional experience with dishes that were tastefully presented. The taste of each new dish was exceptionally curated with local ingredients, picked by the chef himself in the Alps. There was a story about the chef mountain climbing every Monday to collect some herbs, it added to the charm of the place. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere even though we were in the first room near the entrance with lots of people coming in and out. I'll come back for more

01/09/2024: After having tested and appreciated their gourmet cuisine we tried a theme evening - barbecue in the garden - and what a disappointment. For me, the dishes are not up to par at all. From the buffet I remember four positive things: the bread (always excellent), the mushroom terrine, the gravelax salmon and the cheeses (nice selection and very good maturation). The rest is good but not worthy of the price point - a little over €100 for two with a bottle of entry-level wine. Starters with lots of legumes (fortunately there wasn't just that but they were simple preparations). The meats were too dry, the two vegetables were not cooked enough - beyond the crunch, the fennel is even quite indigestible. As for dessert, it was poor: a cake that was much too heavy (cheesecake type with a very thick biscuit), apricots in too sweet syrup, a crepe Suzette from which mainly came out the bitterness and the alcohol which was not enough flamed. On the other hand, the service is top notch. I didn't expect so much attention for a buffet meal. The garden is quite pleasant without being particularly pretty. I'm going to try a buffet formula one last time in Narbonne "aux grands buffets" and if disappointment is expected again I will avoid for good this formula which I don't particularly like. My suggestion until then: you go to your “favorite” caterer, you indulge in what you buy, even if it means having half a lobster, you buy a bottle of wine that makes you happy and you find yourself a corner of greenery which dominates Grenoble. That's it, no regrets, beautiful memories with your soul mate who will find your gesture very romantic, and what's more, you will have spent much less money.
