15/06/2026: We've dined at Gandhi Restaurant several times now, and the quality of the food is always exceptional. Having had the opportunity to try many Indian restaurants around the world, I can say without hesitation that we are very fortunate to have such a high-quality restaurant nearby. The setting is very pleasant, whether you choose to sit inside or on the terrace. A particularly welcome feature compared to many other establishments is the calm and serene atmosphere, without any distracting music, which allows for a truly enjoyable experience. A big thank you to the waitress, always charming and very dedicated, who greatly contributes to making the experience perfect. A must-try restaurant that I highly recommend!

We particularly appreciate the wide variety of options, the freshness of the products, and the flexibility of the team, who perfectly adapt to our specific dietary needs or vegetarian requests. 04/07/2026: It's a shame, though, that this Berber palace, located on the holiday route, is very poorly signposted, and there's not much choice at lunchtime. The dining room is splendid, and the staff are courteous. I think you need to book in advance.

12/07/2026: A single table of six was available for brunch this Sunday, yet there was a long wait. Thirty minutes after ordering, three guests received their first savory course. Another 30 minutes later, after we contacted them, we were told that the first course for the other three wasn't actually available! We then had to wait another 15 minutes for replacement first courses. And the quality of the food was mediocre: lukewarm mashed potatoes, a soft-boiled egg that was anything but soft-boiled. I had been twice before and it was good, but today it fell far short of expectations and the price. A huge disappointment!

09/02/2026: A delightful discovery. Dishes made with flavorful, delicious ingredients. The aromas and flavors allow you to fully appreciate each dish. The service was excellent, with a detailed explanation of every course. My only slight criticism was that the artwork on display didn't quite match the restaurant's overall quality. This is just my personal opinion.

28/06/2026: A very disappointing experience. The bartender, Corentin, was rude, impatient, and clearly unwelcoming to customers who don't speak fluent French. Instead of trying to help, he adopted a dismissive and aggressive attitude. This behavior is unacceptable in an establishment open to the public. I do not recommend this place until this problem is resolved.

08/06/2026: Excellent, very warm welcome, the quality of the burger is magnificent, the daily specials are mouthwatering and all this for a very reasonable price, I don't just recommend it, I highly recommend it.

30/06/2026: Great, whether on the terrace or inside, we felt right at home! The raclette was delicious and generous. We highly recommend it (even in summer 😅)

25/06/2026: Walk from Prapoutel, on a marked trail, of one and a half hours, in the shade and under the subtle scent of fir trees full of water and sun, to the chalet of Cortillets, with a view of the Chartreuse on arrival, followed by a refreshing break in the resort at the Kaktuss restaurant with a chill atmosphere.

18/06/2026: A beautiful climb by bike from Allevard to the Sept Laux resort at 1450m altitude, 25km with gradients between 4.5% and 7%. The landscapes and villages along the way are magnificent. The resort opens onto the Belledonne mountain range at nearly 3000m altitude. The 25km descent is very scenic. A stop before Allevard at the small lake is recommended to admire the mid-mountain scenery. It's nice to have a drink at the refreshment stand before continuing the descent. Be careful, as the road is damaged in places and a fall could be serious given the speed of the bikes.

02/06/2026: A feast for the eyes and the stomach, excellent staff, and it's even open on Sundays. I recommend it for young and old alike.

01/06/2026: It's great, the furniture has finally been changed, it's much better this way, it's more comfortable too of course, however it's still a bit too hot upstairs I find and the staff are still very friendly!
