26/08/2024: Plats copieux (salade et pommes de terres à volonté) raclette et fondue délicieuses. Service très agréable. Prix corrects pour un restaurant de montagne. Nous y sommes allé 2 fois pendant le séjour c’était très bien!

02/09/2024: Nous avons visité à nouveau le Domaine Clairefontaine et avons vécu, à nouveau, une expérience mémorable qui dépasse largement l'assiette, certes, délicieuse. Une présentation remarquable, une harmonie des saveurs, une créativité et une parfaite maîtrise technique. Les assiettes empreintes de finesse et de saveur parlent vite pour le Domaine. Et le plaisir au palais, confirme. Constance est un autre maître mot. En effet, la dernière visité nous avait marqué les esprits. Nous sommes revenus car nous n'avions pas oublié l'expérience et avons découvert une nouvelle fois cette qualité distinctive, cette originalité, élégance, inspiration et maîtrise soignée; autant des marqueurs qui distinguent ceux qui sont bons des ceux qui sont une référence. Le tout dans un superbe cadre verdoyant. Le service est impeccable, raffiné, sous le signe du positivisme et avec une dose parfaite et délicieuse d'épanouissement et de bonne humeur. On perçoit une atmosphère dans laquelle toute l'équipe est dans leur élément et qui suit, car elle croit, à un chef/leader Philippe Girardon qui insuffle les valeurs d'excellence, bienveillance et d' humanisme qui sont impossibles à improviser, car on sent qu'ils fluent et apparaissent en toute transparence, spontanéité et naturalité. A l'image d'une pommier qui ne peut donner que ... des pommes.

30/08/2024: We walked by the chateau when visiting the waterfall and decided to return for lunch another day. We had a lovely meal in the garden under the shade of a tree. We'd definitely love to spend the night here sometime and enjoy the ambience of the chateau.

20/08/2024: We only came for dinner and we were not disappointed!! The products are fresh and seeing them growing in the garden next door makes you want it even more!! I recommend 100%

31/07/2024: Clean restaurant with terrace with sofa. We came after closing but they still accepted us. There were 3 of us and a child. We had 3 crispy salads and for the child, a Bambino menu based on pizza and a misterfreeze. It's rare that I eat a salad this good, I come from Lyon, to have a salad this full and this good, you have to pay a lot of money. For all that, as well as two cold espresso coffees and 1 tiramisu, we got the sum of €68. I recommend.

24/09/2024: A tourist-catching hostel!!! Being a native of the region, this is the first time I have eaten so poorly in a mountain inn. The children's menu consisted of a slice of ham with a few slices of sausage all accompanied by potatoes, not fresh, but frozen, the same kind you make when you don't have time to cook. The Vertaco dish (Sassenage blue cheese tartiflette) is also made with the same frozen potatoes, the blue cheese was only present in the name of the dish, as it was not found in the flavors. The only decent dish was L'diot without feeling the flavors of the mushrooms. I find it shameful to serve typical mountain dishes with industrial potatoes, when you can find many small producers who sell absolutely divine potatoes (the flavors of the high plateau). Not to mention the price which is relatively expensive when you analyze the composition of the dish and the origin of the products... Note around 100 euros for two adults and a child. Hoping that the inn will question this because it gives a very bad image of the region which is nevertheless dotted with very good places to eat well.

18/07/2024: I discovered this restaurant with my grandson Very friendly welcome Impeccable and fast service Very reasonable price I even had a price of 8€ for my grandson's large minced steak, fries and salad. The tartare is delicious, we do the seasoning ourselves 👍 I will advertise

01/12/2023: I recommend, you have to go there with your eyes closed. On the other hand, remember to book, because a table from 8 to 11:30 a.m.... inevitably you will be told no... The owners are accommodating, kind, dedicated, the clientele is incredible, you come for a culinary experience but also to discover an art of enjoying life. thanks again
