02/04/2026: Frankly, I was very disappointed with this Courtepaille. We waited almost two hours before being served. No one came to explain anything, there was no follow-up, you just feel like you've been forgotten. The organization in the dining room is a disaster. The staff are running around in all directions without any coordination. It creates a tense atmosphere and disorganized service. At this point, it's not just a simple delay, it's a real management problem. It's a shame, but a clearly negative experience.

27/03/2026: The last time I went there, there was a dog in the restaurant. I saw it, I left immediately. I don't know how they can allow dogs in a restaurant; we're there to eat, not to have hair in our food.

28/03/2026: The price is very high compared to the quality of the food. The restaurant tries to project a luxurious image, but the taste doesn't match. Furthermore, the chef didn't ask how the food was cooked and decided to do it his own way, and paying €70 for a medium-rare steak leaves a bitter taste. Avoid this place; there are other fine-dining restaurants in the area that are much better and more affordable.

27/02/2026: My wife, children, and I are loyal readers of your guides and frequent patrons of Michelin-starred restaurants. We wanted to let you know how disappointed we were with the restaurant L'Émulsion, located in Bourgoin-Jallieu. We believe this restaurant absolutely does NOT deserve its star. Indeed, we were disappointed by the welcome, the sommelier, the service, and the culinary experience. It started because there were five of us at the table, including one of our grandsons (7 and a half years old). We asked if there was a children's option (or menu). The answer was no; children eat the same thing as their parents, but in smaller portions! So we asked if there was pasta or mashed potatoes with a piece of meat or fish. The answer was no; what are we supposed to do with pasta?! It was Valentine's Day (February 14, 2026), and there was a set menu, but with wine pairings. I took the liberty of asking if we could deviate from the rule and choose wines from the menu. The answer was: no, that's how it is! During the meal, we asked for a little more wine because they were serving "thin" bottles: not even a response! My wife and daughter chose the non-alcoholic option. Neither of them managed to finish a single glass; it was so bland and tasteless. No one seemed concerned, not even a "Is there a problem?" or "Would you like something else?" Regarding the food, it was good but nothing special, very technically accomplished and well-presented, but so uninspiring. The servers were neither relaxed nor smiling, I was going to say, "just like our guests." At the end of the meal, the owner, I imagine the chef, clearly sensed there was a problem. He tried to justify his employees' attitude but never once questioned himself! In short, from my point of view, a disaster, and certainly not the quality or service of a Michelin-starred restaurant.

22/02/2026: A wonderful evening! We enjoyed the special Valentine's Day menu, complete with wine pairing and a cheese plate. The lentil theme made for a superb experience. The service was attentive and refined, reflecting the restaurant's commitment to sustainability and local sourcing. The menu was carefully prepared and tasteful, allowing us to fully appreciate the experience while maintaining social distancing.

21/01/2026: A very warm welcome! I ordered takeout early last night and I loved it! I was able to wait comfortably, sitting in the warmth, while my order was being prepared. The quality/price/quantity ratio is excellent! I would gladly return.

17/03/2026: Unbelievable! I ordered a mixed taco with beef and cordon bleu to go, and when I got home I discovered the taco was filled with fries, that's all. So I called, and they told me I had removed the meat myself to get a refund 🤔🤨 The person on the phone was very aggressive, even insulting. Unbelievable! I'm boycotting this so-called fast food place. Avoid it!

23/02/2026: Unacceptable. My partner and I ate two tacos last night, and we've been in bed since this morning with food poisoning (vomiting and diarrhea). We're keeping our fingers crossed because our 12-year-old daughter had a bowl, hoping she wasn't infected too. When you cook meat, you make sure it's fresh and properly stored; you can't afford this kind of mistake, which can be dangerous for your customers. Never again.

10/12/2025: This casino is well located in the heart of Villard with ample parking. Very well maintained, friendly staff. Restaurant and bar inside.

13/12/2025: The vendor was unpleasant. This morning I wanted to buy some Lebanese bread, and up until then everything was fine. I said that would be all, and I only bought two. I'd done some shopping and was carrying a lot, and then this man tried to show me, in his own way (with his finger), the little slip of paper saying they didn't accept card payments under €5, without saying a word (okay, I hadn't noticed). Then he added two, and two makes four, as if I couldn't count. I replied, "I know, and thank you, by the way, I'll sleep a little wiser tonight." So I told him, "Fine, fine, I'll leave them with you." I had cash, but I didn't like his approach, I assure you, Joe? I can read and count; he could have simply said it nicely with a smile, without making those gestures.

09/03/2026: A very good experience; the saleswoman took the time to inform me about local specialties and different products, and the pastries I tried there were excellent.

19/02/2026: The waitress was friendly but embarrassed by her own boss! It's awkward to tell the person doing the payroll that it's the customers who fill the tills. McDonald's is better value for money than this very, very mediocre establishment in my opinion.

19/02/2026: Absolutely avoid this place! After my third visit, I'm just as disappointed! The quality is truly mediocre for the prices! You're much better off choosing the pizza or burger places in the area!
