15/03/2026: We hesitated after reading the reviews, but we'd left it a bit late to find a place for lunch, and there was space at La Grolle. Well, we had a wonderful meal! The owner and staff changed two years ago (and the vast majority of the "bad" reviews are from before then). They now share the kitchen with Les Clarines. The waiter was very friendly and professional. We were there with four young children and received a very warm welcome. A big thank you to the whole team; it was a fantastic experience.

08/03/2026: The service was very average; the food was bland and lacked variety. The fondue was mediocre, which was a shame.

31/01/2026: A family of 4 has visited the restaurant at the hotel Lesdiguières. The restaurant is served by the students of the international school on catering. The venue is unique. The facility is amazing. The service is excellent. The food is superb. All in all it is a place you should not miss in Grenoble, however, be aware that it is not so easy to get a reservation there.

29/12/2025: It's always a great pleasure to eat at Lesdiguières restaurant! The welcome, the service, the food—everything is perfect, and the students are always focused under the watchful eye of their teacher! A truly wonderful experience that I highly recommend.

18/01/2026: The chef offers mostly homemade food; it's delicious and affordable. The owner has a wide selection of draft and bottled wines and beers from unusual brands, perfect for wine and beer lovers. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, ideal for a meal with friends or family!

07/03/2026: We came for dinner as a group of six adults, having fond memories of last year. What a disappointment! The meat was inedible, the rice extremely salty. The chef apologized, but we won't be returning given the poor quality of the food. The dessert was disappointing.

03/04/2026: We ate there on Saturday evening in mid-March, arriving at the age of six, in a rush after skiing. We were very welcoming, the service was good, and the food was delicious. We were very glad we found them.

27/02/2026: Change careers. We went to this establishment around 1 p.m. for lunch with friends and were unfortunately met with completely unjustified hostility. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was icy: a simple "move over," without a greeting or any consideration, from the woman who seemed to be the manager—a short-haired brunette with a cheek piercing. Fortunately, a very pleasant waitress, a smiling young blonde, then seated us. But the manager walked past us again, practically breathing down our necks and muttering, "These ones are slow." An inappropriate and contemptuous remark, revealing a profound lack of professionalism. As for the food, it was also a huge disappointment: bland, mass-produced dishes with an excessive amount of tube-style cheddar cheese, making everything inedible. We also clearly felt rushed to leave. A very negative experience, which I will not hesitate to share in order to prevent other customers from suffering the same deplorable treatment ☺️

20/10/2025: We really enjoyed this place, the people are super friendly and the crepes are great whether hot or for dessert, a treat!

02/03/2026: If you're looking to organize a friendly gathering with family or friends to celebrate a special occasion, don't stress about finding a municipal hall, a caterer, and everything else... Book a date at Le Relais de la Tourelle! They know how to manage a group for a festive meal, and their team of professionals and their chef are experts: a warm welcome, efficient and discreet service, a superb and well-equipped room for the occasion, delicious and generous menus... And all this at a very reasonable price! I highly recommend it!

18/11/2025: The owner is obnoxious, unprofessional, and unpleasant 🤮 in these comments. Who would explain why not mentioning a missing bottle on the bill would be incomprehensible for a biker (considering the price of Harleys!!)? However, the waitress "offered" digestifs, only to charge us up to €9 for them... left us with a bad taste in our mouths and we won't be going back. However, the food is good.

22/08/2025: A real precious gem. Out for one night in the labyrinth that is Alpe d’Huez, you want to experience something special, but be really comforted rather than shocked. Well presented, plentiful and delicious dishes. Lucky the waitress spoke some English, because our French was quite stretched by the Menu… Ordered a mix of steak and chips, plat du jour (chicken vol-au-vent), pasta, fish and chips and something different, which became my highlight as the mum who cooks at home and could use a break: the tataki de thon, now in my all-time top-2 dishes! Choice of desserts: mix of unusual and mainstream, just what you want for a special night. Welcoming host, the type of human you feel you could be friends with - not to be taken for granted in this day and age. Wish we went back to try the other things on the menu.
