16/02/2025: Warm welcome and perfect place to enjoy a pizza or a drink. We had a pizza for our last day in Vénosc and avoided cooking. We were not disappointed.
Excellent wood-fired pizzas.
I recommend this address.
31/01/2025: Go get your own pizzas and don't order over the phone. Warm and very friendly welcome, despite the crowds. Pizzas were incredibly tasty and prepared with attention.

The rotisserie meat, the cooked dishes (mostly to share), and the formulas (noodle or rice base + vegetables of the day + tofu and 1/2 egg + meat of your choice, from 1 to 3) are excellent.
The lady serving is also adorable, and in the summer there are a few tables outside.
As the number of places is limited, it is also possible to order takeaway.

The octopus is particularly good and very well prepared.
The small shaded terrace is super nice.
To do again!
30/07/2024: The octopus with risotto is a real delight, perfectly cooked and subtly crispy: impeccable. The fries, although correct, lack exception. I can't tell if they are frozen.
Respect to the manager who also takes care of the service and doesn't stop for a second!

21/08/2024: We didn't even have time to judge the cuisine. Arriving at 12:00 p.m. we were thrown out with a very questionable way of doing things. A restaurant that is 3/4 empty and no way to have lunch for 2. When you don't want to work and when you're in a bad mood, you change jobs.
16/08/2024: We arrived at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. we still don't have entry, it's shameful that it takes so long, there are only 1 or 2 servers max who take their time, the people arrive after us, they are served before us who wait 4 hours to get entry I won't come back here anymore it's the worst 👍

Great time spent in this restaurant, very warm welcome in the dining room and at the bar, the team takes great care throughout the meal!
Menu to awaken the exquisite senses. With a chef keen to please his customers through the dishes offered.
Perfect alchemy between the kitchen and the dining room, a very beautiful team cohesion that the customer feels and appreciates, which makes them want to repeat the experience. Congratulations to the entire team and thank you for your remarkable professionalism!

Very long waiting time
03/12/2023: I had known Balou for many years as a loyal customer. Having moved it had been a long time since I had returned there, so I was happy.
WE arrived around 7:30 p.m. on a Friday evening, there was a table behind us that was almost finished.
The very smiling waitress comes to take the drinks quickly, she will take orders around 8 p.m.
Then a long wait begins, we see people arriving well after us served before.
.The first plates will be served at 9:45 p.m. only two, the others will arrive in dribs and drabs to the point that we all ate out of time... too bad for an end-of-year meal.
The food is good but not exceptional, there is a choice and the prices are correct.
It's a shame that the service was so long, we were not offered to have another drink, we were brought water and bread because we asked.
Given the wait, no one dared to have dessert..
