18/04/2026: We were disappointed by the daily special: kid or venison. Two very unusual meats! So we opted for pork, as suggested by the chef.

05/05/2026: Discovered this incredibly welcoming place which, in addition to being a café and restaurant, offers themed evenings! I had the daily special of fresh goat cheese and polpettes, which were absolutely delicious. The place is lively, welcoming, and colorful; the service is impeccable, and the value for money is excellent. Go check it out!

21/04/2026: A very nice café for lunch and drinks. Good atmosphere, pleasant and smiling staff. It's a shame they're closed on Saturdays, we miss it a bit.

18/11/2025: The owner is obnoxious, unprofessional, and unpleasant 🤮 in these comments. Who would explain why not mentioning a missing bottle on the bill would be incomprehensible for a biker (considering the price of Harleys!!)? However, the waitress "offered" digestifs, only to charge us up to €9 for them... left us with a bad taste in our mouths and we won't be going back. However, the food is good.

22/08/2025: A real precious gem. Out for one night in the labyrinth that is Alpe d’Huez, you want to experience something special, but be really comforted rather than shocked. Well presented, plentiful and delicious dishes. Lucky the waitress spoke some English, because our French was quite stretched by the Menu… Ordered a mix of steak and chips, plat du jour (chicken vol-au-vent), pasta, fish and chips and something different, which became my highlight as the mum who cooks at home and could use a break: the tataki de thon, now in my all-time top-2 dishes! Choice of desserts: mix of unusual and mainstream, just what you want for a special night. Welcoming host, the type of human you feel you could be friends with - not to be taken for granted in this day and age. Wish we went back to try the other things on the menu.

02/05/2026: We had a wonderful family evening. A very warm and pleasant welcome. Generous portions of delicious traditional cuisine. A suspended table that amused us. A lovely establishment.

02/05/2026: A very warm welcome. An unexpected number of surprises before the starter, which was excellent (a small pan-seared foie gras 😋). Very high-quality meat with an exceptionally large gratin dauphinois. A plate of local cheese. And a homemade dessert. We left feeling completely satisfied, and it was so delicious. All this with the chef sharing anecdotes and suggesting mountain passes to ride by motorcycle ✌🏻 I recommend this establishment 300%, whether for the restaurant or the hotel; everything is perfect. Looking forward to returning to try the sweetbreads with morels (photo from last year) 🤩

16/05/2024: Very warm welcome in this hotel, whether at reception with Sabrina or at the restaurant with Élodie and Vincent. Always with a smile. Spacious, clean room and good bedding. It's been 3 times in 3 months that I have come with my group of 11 people. Come with your eyes closed.

13/12/2025: The vendor was unpleasant. This morning I wanted to buy some Lebanese bread, and up until then everything was fine. I said that would be all, and I only bought two. I'd done some shopping and was carrying a lot, and then this man tried to show me, in his own way (with his finger), the little slip of paper saying they didn't accept card payments under €5, without saying a word (okay, I hadn't noticed). Then he added two, and two makes four, as if I couldn't count. I replied, "I know, and thank you, by the way, I'll sleep a little wiser tonight." So I told him, "Fine, fine, I'll leave them with you." I had cash, but I didn't like his approach, I assure you, Joe? I can read and count; he could have simply said it nicely with a smile, without making those gestures.

24/05/2026: I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but honestly, this is ridiculous! It's become a complete mess. I went through the drive-thru to get two ice creams and I got half-empty tubs... it's absurd. We pay full price for this? The quality and portion sizes at McDonald's are getting worse and worse. Very disappointed.

21/12/2025: The welcome was excellent. The Périgord salad was very good, and the portion was just right. The snails were perfect. The frogs' legs were good, but a little overcooked for my taste. It's best to make a reservation. We'll be back.
