05/09/2024: Je suis venu fêter avec mon fils, dans ce restaurant, sa première location d'appartement et nous avons pu passer une excellente soirée, dans un cadre fort sympathique. De l'entrée au dessert nous nous sommes régalés. Je n'avais au préalable pas vérifier la carte ni les tarifs... ils sont un peu élevés mais je n'avais qu'à vérifier avant. Cependant, leur gentillesse, les conseils et la cuisine raffinée vaux le détour. Un bel endroit pour un repas en amoureux pour une prochaine fois. Je recommande.

06/08/2024: Deuxième fois que nous mangeons dans ce restaurant, toujours parfait à tous les niveaux, cuisine, personnel, et une patronne super sympathique et très professionnelle, quant aux petites tartelettes à la praline que nous avons emportées, simplement une tuerie. 19/09/2024: Flawless from appetizer to dessert, Perfect cooking of lobster with citrus fruits, copious portions of foie gras, very successful snail tartlet, tasty arctic char, quality Pic St Loup, a very nice experience, smiling welcome, cozy atmosphere ( it's so rare these days!) and fast service. I recommend 100%

24/09/2024: Warm welcome and fast service but the quality of the ingredients on the pizza really leaves something to be desired, especially the tomato sauce tastes like canned ravioli: how is that possible?? The lighting atmosphere is dark in the evening indoors.

19/09/2024: I think it was the owner who came to serve us and she was adorable big + plus the staff they are great, in terms of food small downside on the salmon ravioli which were a little too salty for my taste, the dessert very substantial but the price is more than fair and the plates are consistent! Next time I hope that your soft chocolate pistachio will remain a victim of their success 😁

25/08/2024: The place is great, however the cuisine has become Americanized and leaves something to be desired: burger (presumably frozen fries), meat, meat, meat, and more meat. The so-called vegetarian salad was very good (although low in protein and carbohydrate intake), but only one dish on the menu without meat is average in 2024 (historically it was omelette, Saint-Félicien in the oven, pot au feu , andouillette gratin, etc.).

19/08/2024: Très bon restaurant ,nourriture délicieuse,tout se passait bien jusqu’au drame:le café.Je n’attendais que le café à la suite de ce repas je le vis arrivé dans sa tasse ,j’étais excité jusqu’à que je me rende compte qu’aucun petit gâteau était accompagné de ce café ,j’étais extrêmement déçu malgrès un repas copieux et une bonne accueille mon avis perd une étoile pour le manque de petit gâteau pour le café .

28/07/2024: Horrible, imboufable. Riz pas cuit, dans le poket bool, dans l un il manquait les radis dans les 2eme commandé il manquait les concombres. Tellement dégueulasse qu un des poket bool a été ramené en cuisine. Pour que le cuisinier constate lui même ce qui nous a servis. Même la gamelle des chiens aurait une meilleure saveur. Biensur on nous fait payer la poket Bool pas consommer... aucun respect pour sa clientèle! A FUIR

10/08/2024: We ate outside at 5 on a Friday evening, it was very quiet, the street is not noisy. The meal was delicious, everyone loved everything, we had copious quantities, and really good ones. We had some menus and others without menus, the menu starters arrived first, then the dishes without a menu, then the menu dishes, which allowed us to eat at the same time most of the time. The meal is really good, I had never eaten such a good Lebanese meal. I recommend 100%! I had two Mezzé, Arayess, and Batata Harra.

27/09/2024: An attractive menu, quality ingredients beautifully prepared and served. While the food was lovely, it could have done with slightly bigger portions. Also, while accommodated for, food intolerances severely restrict what one can have. None the less, I would come back.

24/09/2024: I have had the pleasure of dining in this restaurant on several occasions. No false notes noted for my greatest pleasure. The service as well as the cuisine is perfect. A cuisine with fresh products and a clever mix of tastes. I wish the best for this establishment.

24/05/2024: The sporting is a high end bar / restaurant. The drinks were fantastic but the food was expensive for what it was worth. We ordered deer with potatoes and chestnuts, it came in a big pot, the meat was warm but not hot, we struggled to actually find the chestnuts. This said the ambiance and decor reminded us of a british hunting club and there was live music. The bar was good but the restaurant needs to relook their prices.

09/04/2024: Pas très commerçants... Ça fait 30 ans que nous venons à l'Alpe d'huez et que nous connaissons bon nombre de restaurants dont le Sporting qui vient de changer de proprietaire. Quand on veut monter en gamme un des endroits emblématiques de l'Alpe il ne faut pas se cantonner à refaire la déco... Si on veut déjeuner tardivement à l'extérieur (14 heures) c'est trop tard...cuisines fermées! Si on veut prendre un verre à 18h30 à l'intérieur (en Février) c'est trop tard les tables sont posées et le bar inaccessible ! Un bar restaurant soit disant branché...pas très tolérants pas du tout commerçant . Petit conseil révisez votre copie pour la prochaine saison car a trop vouloir offrir des horaires strictes sur les before ski les after ski les ceci les cela rien n'est souple et détendu comme devrait être un établissement pour des vacanciers en quête d'un bel endroit!

20/08/2024: For three years already, I have recharged my batteries, summer and winter, in Oisans, traveling its hiking trails, hitting its ski slopes, and frequenting its hotels and restaurants. As everywhere else in France, the offer in terms of hostels and restaurants is of uneven quality, often good, sometimes mediocre... But none, in my opinion, is up to the level of that offered by the Auberge de la Forêt, where I had the chance to stay for a few days this summer. It's quite simple: I simply can't find anything to criticize about this establishment! The cuisine is exquisite, the welcome charming and the service impeccable. As for the room I occupied, words fail me: clean as a penny, refined, comfortable, enchanting... It was all that, and much more: perfection itself! In short, I do not recommend; I prescribe!
