21/08/2024: Out for the morning on my e-MTB Down to Bourg from the chalet in Mont-de- Lans and then up the back of the Vallee Blanche, dropping down from the summit on the blue track to Kanata Legs were a bit wobbly! Lovely pitstop at Kanata Sun was out but love the shaded tables Great views down into L2A Prompt and friendly service Delicious omelette Roblechon Nice cold beer too

14/08/2024: A perfect evening. A warm welcome, classy and simple at the same time. The dishes were very good, well presented and the quantities were very well measured. I will return with pleasure.

13/08/2024: Adossé à la colline le restaurant se cache dans un écrin de verdure. Le service est au top : à l’écoute et très bienveillante . Les plats sont raffinés et présentés avec amour! N’hésitez pas à faire le détour!

16/12/2024: Beautiful room with an atmosphere of the restaurant from 20 years ago. Rich and generous cuisine, with the possibility of very nice food and wine pairings. Impeccable service, both in terms of availability and smile.

06/09/2024: Sono venuto a pranzo con due colleghi di lavoro. Ci siamo seduti nella sala appena all'interno perché fuori faceva caldo. Abbiamo preso due ottime uova tartufate e un piatto di fois gras. Il piatto forte è il polpo! Morbido, croccante, ben accompagnato. Per finire una deliziosa mousse al cioccolato. Veramente un ristorante in cui tornare.

Qui a ( plusieurs casquettes)🤣 Tres bonne cuisine faite de produuts frais et regionnaux.assiettes copieuses.gouteuses.prix tres corrects pour cette qualité.nous avons tres bien finer .je recommande ce charmant restaurant.nous reviendrons encore lors d 1 prochain passage dans cette region. 15/08/2024: Un endroit fidèle à sa réputation; nous avons passé un excellent moment en terrasse autour d'un bon repas. La carte se compose de 4 entrées et 4 plats, la fraicheur est mise en avant, tout comme les produits locaux. Nous avons choisi la terrine d'écrevisse et poisson, puis le jambon braisé à la crème d'ail, un délice, pour conclure avec un dessert glacé au Limoncello. A noter, une belle petite mise en bouche offerte à l'apéritif. Cette formule Entrée-Plat-Dessert était affichée à 29€. L'accueil est fort sympathique et convivial, le chef vient même échanger quelques mots avec vous en fin de repas. Une belle adresse à ne pas manquer lors de votre passage dans ce beau village.

13/07/2024: For 3 years, we have been won over by this authentic and warm restaurant. The owners and staff are lovely. Having already tasted quite a few of their à la carte dishes, each of which is just as good as the next (small bonus for the smoked burger, a real treat), we recommend this restaurant which we have also included in our welcome booklet for our tenants!

26/09/2024: We really enjoyed our meal here. All the dishes were prepared beautifully and were full of flavour and not too salty. We almost felt we were having two meals in one as the potato cakes were almost a meal in themselves, and their accompanying mains were equally delicious. We only had entree and main courses and couldn’t have had any more food. Excellent wine list, with some good local suggestions. We had a local Syrah which was excellent value. Super friendly service. It was a quiet Thursday evening and we had a lovely chat with the lady who was front of house (half in English, half in French but we understood each other!).

30/08/2024: Finally a restaurant worthy of the name, traditional cuisine, a delight that I recommend. We live 450km away and go back whenever we can, even if it means making a big detour.

16/11/2024: Classy restaurant, cozy and peaceful atmosphere after a day of work, good service, the sturgeon and its sweet potato fries a treat, my son recommended this restaurant to me and he did well So I recommend it too

08/11/2024: Expensive for the quality. Overcooked meat, almost raw cookie dessert. Damage... We ate there a few years ago and we have fond memories of it. Change of chef in the kitchen? For us to avoid.

05/09/2024: Three of us and in the middle of a road trip, we stopped here a bit by chance, the rain always being a good excuse for a coffee. Express formulas, 5.50 and, I tell you, what a nice surprise: fresh pressed juice, traditional hot chocolate with real chocolate, pure butter croissant. A sign announced carrot cake slices for €2 each, let's go, verdict: excellent too (approved by the trio's pastry chef). The atmosphere is warm, subdued, almost hushed and you find yourself lowering your voice, without paying attention, so as not to disturb the air around the tables. The waiter was just what was needed, friendly, attentive, smiling but not salesy, aware of our need to escape the rain, to hear it too. The one we imagine to be the boss, who we learned was the author of the carrot cakes, was humble, bordering on embarrassment at our thanks. It was alive without being too much.
