10/05/2026: We had a great lunch here after a morning of moving house. They were friendly and welcoming even though it was nearly 2pm when we arrived it was not a problem for us to eat lunch. The burgers were excellent as was my plat du jour. Also the chips were delicious!! Service was very friendly and the proprietor is delightful. We will be going back!

19/04/2026: Back to "Le Mot Passant" and it was another wonderful experience. A warm and attentive welcome immediately puts you at ease. The atmosphere truly gives the impression of "leaving home," of escaping for the duration of a meal, which is particularly enjoyable in its unpretentious setting. As for the food, we opted for a Savoyard hamburger and an andouillette sausage: two generous, flavorful, and well-prepared dishes that reflect genuine expertise. In short, an address we wholeheartedly recommend for a pleasant time over a delicious meal.

15/05/2026: We loved it!! A wonderful discovery: I'd heard about it, so we went with friends last night. There were six of us, and everyone was delighted with this little gem run by a lovely family. From the cocktails to the dessert, everything was perfect! The service, the quality of the food, the portions—it was flawless: we had excellent cocktails, a selection of super tasty tapas, and what can I say about the paella? Absolutely amazing! We loved the concept of having the pan brought to the table; we were able to have three helpings, the portions are generous—don't change a thing! We give it a 200% thumbs up and recommend it!! Thank you for your kindness; we were transported to sunny climes thanks to you.

19/05/2026: It's always a pleasure to eat at this restaurant, away from the noise, either in the conservatory or on the terrace in good weather. The dishes are simple but consistently high quality. The staff is very pleasant, smiling, and attentive. It's our Proustian madeleine, a place my friend and I meet up for once a month. Thank you!

15/05/2026: Appalling! We booked a table for nine for 1:30 PM to surprise a sick friend in Grenoble. We arrived at the restaurant from Annecy to find our table unprepared. They were incredibly disrespectful, leaving us without food at the entrance and giving the table to other people, based on my experience. Their attitude was pathetic and completely unprofessional, especially since we arrived on time and had confirmed our 1:30 PM reservation. I will never set foot in that place again, if only for this lack of respect. They talk about restaurants having competition, but in the end, we ended up at KFC. Bravo, thanks a lot!!! It's shameful!!!

15/05/2026: Waiter in a tracksuit, bizarre response when asking for red wine (“the staff drank it all”), loud music, and staff shouting amongst themselves. An awkward and unprofessional atmosphere, however, the food was quite okay.

17/05/2026: The most amazing pizza. The crust is a slice of heaven. The small side salad was a perfect accompaniment to the pizza. The clientele is overwhelmingly local. This is not a tourist venue. Be sure to book a reservation in advance.

14/04/2026: A restaurant worth discovering! Located near Grenoble, we discovered this superb establishment in Moirans (38). Upon arrival, we were greeted by the very friendly owner who showed us to the table we had reserved beforehand. The rest of the meal was pure bliss. From appetizer to dessert, it was a perfect 20/20, both for the presentation and the delicious taste of the dishes served. Let's not forget the kindness, smile, and professionalism of the charming waitress who took care of us. She too deserves a 20/20. This deserves to be highlighted, as sometimes the service leaves something to be desired in certain establishments, which was not the case in this restaurant. I would also like to mention the owner's kind gesture of offering us a shared plate of foie gras for two people and complimentary coffees when we paid the bill. For my part, I opted for a starter of gravlax salmon tartare with avocado and mango, enhanced with a sweet and savory Asian sauce—it was delicious. For my main course, I chose grilled octopus tentacles with risotto and candied baby vegetables; it was absolutely divine! The dessert was a modern take on tiramisu, which was also delicious. In conclusion, this restaurant has earned a place in my address book, and we will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, especially the appetizers, which were very original and sophisticated. We were also served an amuse-bouche upon arrival, which is a rare treat. I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful evening. Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the staff and the food!! And what food it was!! I discovered the panzerottes!! A culinary marvel!!
